Here’s a list of your pile of equipment. What do you want to sell, what do you want to keep for backup and what do you want to put in your inventory? Also, do you want to buy anything?
Count will certainly take the Splint, assuming someone new coming in doesn't need it.
Though we really haven't been able to to force attackers through Nadir untill that last set, so everyones AC is in need.
Yeah, I hope with level three that will change somewhat. Now, I’ll look how it goes with two weapons for the extra attack to make more use of
Unwavering Mark XGtE, pg. 30
When you hit with a melee weapon attack, you can mark the creature until the end of your next turn (or if you are incapacitated or you die, or if someone else marks the creature). While it is within 5 ft. of you, a marked creature has disadvantage on any attack roll that doesn’t target you.
This morning you all awake feeling fresh and stronger than ever…but as you join together and are escorted to the first fight of the day (you all have fairly luxurious separate rooms that open to the same general area, and it’s not far to the entrance of the arena) you notice that Peregrin is gone and in his place is someone else…
Nathan, could you introduce your character?

If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.
A hooded figure, tall and thin, with long blond hair tied in a half ponytail, gripping a dark oak longbow stands plainly in front of you. With a puzzled look on his face, he scans the room, asking questions with his eyes without saying a word. Suddenly, a shield falls over, in the corner of the room, and without a moment's hesitation, the man utters a quick draconic word under his breath, as streaks of arcane sigils trace all over his skin, and he teleports to a perch in the rafters.
"How is it possible that I came here?" The man asked, seemingly bewildered and now hiding 20 feet above the floor.
The party reassures him that it's safe and encourages him to come down. He half tumbles and flips down from the rafters, sticking the landing as gracefully as a gymnast with an impressive dismount.
"My current name is Yoku. I am a wandering Eladrin, excommunicated from my clan for crimes against fey. But believe me, I have no quarrels with fey or any people for that matter. It is my lot, that I have shared memories with my past lives." He pauses to read the room, with no objections, he continues.
"One of my lives, I worshiped the Dark Goddess of Murder, Queen Tatania's Sister, we do not speak her name. My very next life I was called The Avenger. I sought out the Cult of Mab, and slayed them like dogs. It is because of this life that I am exiled. It is because of this life that I repent." He pauses again to take a deep sigh. Lays his bow down on the table and takes a chair. His posture changes as if he has let go of an enormous burden.
"Now, I only seeks to protect those who cannot defend themselves. I wander and I watch and I try only to do good in this world. How may I serve in this strange place I've been summoned?"
"Well met Yoku, I am Count Druman." The greying gentleman is fidgeting with his Splint mail armor. Clearly still trying to adjust the staps to fit himself as it's newly obtained by Count. "The handsome one in the corner, that's Sir Spitz." As if on command the armored camel spits at the mastiff lying next to him. "It's a pretty simple setup we have here. We keep the loot of those we fight, sell it or store it here where we rest. None of us know how we came to be here. Or how these portals work that bring us and another lot to battle it out. But there is a crowd that can be generous in throwing coins after a good scrap. Then back we come. Feel free to take any loot in the pile that might help you out in a fight. So far the goal has been the same, don't die and try to keep us from dying too."
“Dolrik Durthane, at your service.” States a squat dwarf. “Cleric of Selune and adherent of the twilight arts. I hope you’ve come with a stomach for battle and a flare for performance art. For our host has consigned us to near constant conflict for the entertainment of his unseen guests. As Count has said, look through the items we have accumulated thus far and carry what you think you may need for either replacement or for backup.”
(If no one wants to carry the breastplate, Dolrik will swap out his Hide backup for the breastplate.)
“Do we want to buy some potions of healing or more healing kits during this respite?”

“Nice meeting you, Yoku,” greets a young, woman clad in full plate with a mastiff at her side. “I’m Nadir. Glad you’re here, we can use all the help we can get. These creatures, that they force us to battle, get stronger all the time. I’m trying to hold the line and protect the lot of you but,” blushingly she adds, “it’s tough, they all come at once and I can’t keep them at bay well enough to protect everyone.”
I was looking for those posts trying to remember the blink dogs name! I forgot the mastiff was getting prepared (sorry about Sir Spitz spitting at it) and clearly forgot who was getting ready to use either of them.
"Thank you for your hospitality. I'm honored to be welcomed into this band. So, we may be play things of sorts but we will prevail."
Yoku stands up and walks over to Count. "Here take my hand in friendship and if you are willing, I will lend you my powers of teleportation, if not for a single trek."
With a word, Yoku teleports Count across the room in an instant. "Call on me to get yourself out of trouble." Yoku winks,
This time when you step through, you’re in the center of a large, flat stone circle surrounded by a starry sky. Around the four of you in the center is a low wall (half cover from outside attacks as long as you stay in the center). Outside of the 10x10 ft walled area it’s 40 ft to any given spot on the edge.
At intervals around the edge, going clockwise, are: a giant space hamster, a giant frog, a giant owl, a giant poisonous snake, two giant lizards, a giant riding lizard, a giant centipede, and a giant snail.

Did it have a name? The mastiff is Hercule, not sure if the blink dog has a name too
