Zandir says "Thanks but I have my own equipment. Vale if you want to get some gear you can but I just assumed we would hide out at the Inn until the Vrakath problem is at least taken care of. I doubt he would make a move in a public space." Vale nods in agreement to the suggestion of laying low at the Seaside Inn. "Though I wouldn't mind if somebody bought me a dagger or something in case I do need to defend myself."
Bellamy
The shopkeeper responds, "Most of that I can get for ya no problem, though if you are looking for spell components you might want to check the Ramada Bazaar in the beaded alley. Same goes for anyone looking for armor, weapons or a tailor."
Rel
The shopkeeper looks at you for a moment as he finishes handing over the goods to everybody. "Hmmm, normally I don't give discounts but how about.... wait here a moment" He goes to the back room and returns a moment later with a backpack. "Somebody left this here a few days ago, the pouches seem to be magical and hold much more than you would think possible for such a small compartment. I really try to avoid anything magical. Gives me the creeps. Since you all purchased quite a bit I can give this to ya for no extra charge."
"Here is the payment for what you can offer and can you tell me how to get to Ramada Bazaar from here. I am new to this city" says Bellamy as he hands the coins over to the merchant.
Bellamy, the shopkeep says "Ah, new to Port Damali. Here take a look at this." He pulls a map from under the countertop. "The Beaded Alley is this section here." He points to the area on the map. "It's the center of commerce and trade within Port Damali. The Ramada Bazaar is in the northern section of the Beaded Alley here. Much more variety than my little shop here. More lively too!"
"Thank you so much for the directions."says Bellamy. Then to his companions "I would like to head to the Ramada Bazaar next if no one minds"
He then puts the papers in his new scroll case and stows away the other items he bought. Barring any objections he leaves the store and heads for the Ramada Bazaar for spell components.
"Well aren't you sweet." Rel favors the dragonborn with another bright smile as she transfers equipment (including her original non-magical backpack) to the Handy Haversack. She takes special care not to put anything sharp into her new magical container.
She looks over Bellamy's shoulder, asking the shopkeeper, "could you by chance also point out where The Bee and Bugle is on this map?"

"Of course of course The Bee and Bugle. A very popular spot among the merchants, Zhelezo and Shore Wardens!" He points to an area in the more southeastern portion of the Beaded Alley, towards the coast.
"You are most kind." Rel looks at the shopkeeper with genuine thanks. "We may be new to the city, but I, at least, plan to be a repeat customer."
"So," she turns to the others as she walks out of the shop, "Zandir and Vale head carefully back to the Seaside Inn, staying in public view so as to remain safe. We make for the Ramada Bazaar in the Beaded Alley to buy weapons, then to The Bee and Bugle to meet the Marquis' contact, Jarsali Firahel. If we have no leads after that, then to The Crescents to see whether there is any activity, by Zhelezo or otherwise, at the manor where the crate went."
“A smith?” Tex notes, “I wouldn’t mind going there myself,” he announces, then turns to the shopkeeper, “Nice doing business with you, have a good day!”

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
As they step out then Zane will follow Zandir and Vale with a gaze as far as possible. Then continue scanning the streets to see if anyone is following them specifically.
“Tomorrow, I could have a disguise as street vendor ready and I could accompany them unseen or keep a look on the mansion or the Dragonfly,” Texsuggests as Zane gazes worryingly after the sailors.

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
You all gather your new items and accompany Zandir and Vale back to the Seaside Inn. "We will wait here for word. If you find anywhere in the city that you might see as a better hideaway let us know and we can move our things there." Zandir says with appreciation as he watches you all head off into the city.
The mid morning sun mixed with the gentle sea breeze is nice as you walk through the jumbled streets of Port Damali, up hill towards the Crescents and then beginning to descend down into The Beaded Alley
The Beaded Alley: Named for the decorative cords that hang over each intersection bearing all manner of streamers and dangling beads. Businesses both young and old all mingle here, competing for the attention of anyone with coin. Many bards and performers bring an air of lively irreverence to the bustling atmosphere .
Looking for the Ramada Bazaar you eventually find it. From across the street its hard to distinguish the market from other shops but as you approach you quickly notice that what looked like a line of market stalls is actually just the outer edge of a bazaar that looks to stretch inward far beyond your sight. As you snake down the narrow passages between vendors you look up and see that the roofs of the many market stalls are so closely packed together that they practically make a single roof. Where gaps occur heavy tarps have been hung across them to protect shoppers from the sun and other elements. Vendors of all kinds are packed within this large covered market. The make of their stalls seem just as varied as the goods they carry.
Bellamy takes in the sights and lively music and gawps at the size of the Ramada Bazaar. He winds around the stalls in hopes of one offering spell components or a jeweler.
On entering the market, Tex tells Lizzy to constantly keep an eye out for cutpurses who might look for easy pickings from him or his companions. Knowing that his trusted friend will do better than he ever could, Tex eyes swallow the colorful exhibition of goods and services. What a delightful place. Perhaps, after we sort out Vale’s problem, I could give this a try. I know, I can be a merchant, too. Ah, well, and of course this green man we have to take care of. Time will come to retire into a calm merchant shop. Time will come.
He is specifically looking out for medium armor, ideally a half plate for a reduced price because it’s worn or had seen heavy use, or if that can’t be found a breastplate.

Wisdoms Save 4: Failure, you do not notice that a spell has been cast on you
The Ramada Bazaar has jsut about anything and everything an adventurer or collector would hope to find. Various food stalls, luxury apparel, weapons, armor, antiques.
To make things simple, as you shop about you can find all of the common weapons and armor in the Equipment section of the basic rules or player's hand book.
There is a component shop that sells any magic component you need for the cost listed in a spell.
There is a magic items vendor whose items and pricing can be found at this link
Bellamy unawares heads for the magic component merchant. " This is a charming stall and I am in need of some spell components. Brass Brazier, charcoal, herbs, and a small diamond worth 50 gp"
He pays the 60 gp needed for these materials.
"I must say I do love large markets where almost anything can be found." Says Bellamy. Once done he heads to the magic item merchant. "I would like to buy a scroll of dispel. Don't worry I have the coin needed" says Bellamy
Rel mostly observes, though she does buy a dagger when she sees one.
She recalls the markets of Menzoberranzan, almost as chaotic, though far less brightly colored. Instinctively, she guards her Handy Haversack and other possessions and gold from being stolen by pickpockets and cutpurses. She also keeps an eye out for followers (especially Vrakath).
Thren will only buy a position of healing 50gp and a flask of holy water 25 gp
“you won’t know where I the closest smith is?” As he slides his gold over
