Everyone who is inside hears the sound of a huge, but far off, concussive blast, then a rumbling that becomes steadily louder, as the mugs and plates in the tavern begin to rattle as well, adding their noise to the deep thunder.
People who were outside:
You hear a great, far-off blast, and look around to see that in the mountains miles outside town, there is a huge explosion of blue-white light. As you watch, a visible shockwave of magical force sweeps out from the explosion, showing no sign of fading as it nears the ramshackle huts of Hagfaldur. As it gets nearer, a rumbling sound grows louder and louder. You can see that whenever the huge force wave overtakes the blue ice-magic-infused crystals, they detonate in a large blue explosion. With only seconds before the shockwave reaches the village, you look towards its impromptu village square - and the ten-foot-tall, glowing blue crystal in its center.

He races outside, to see the brand new crystal in the town square. Letting out a yelp of surprise, he jumps as he tries to quickly recollect his thoughts.
Some clarification: The crystal in the town square is not new. The crystals are kind of all over the place naturally, including the town square, and everyone has always though them harmless unless you actually take a pick to them and make the explode or whatever. Now, however, the forcewave is detonating the dormant ice magic in all the crystals it comes across, and is about to hit and detonate the one in the square.

Audun's smile turns to an expression of shock as he runs towards the door, picking up his walking stick on the way. Upon seeing the shockwave his eyes wide. After a a second of paralysis, he leaps into action. He runs towards the crystal, sweeping his quarterstaff in a wide arc, hoping to shatter the crystal and release the magic inside before the blast hits. Just before his blow lands he enunciates a string of sharp words that seem to echo unnaturally loud in the air around him, causing the tip of his staff to spark with magical energy

People scream and dive for cover as a woman wearing armor suddenly manifests transparent wings and flies into the air above the square, shouting warnings. A human with a staff sprints forward and leaps into the air, bringing his staff crashing down on the crystal with divine strength as the staff flares with runic magic. Blazing with light, the staff impacts the crystal. Time seems to stand still for a moment as a network of cracks spiderwebs away from the impact. Then the ice magic in the crystal explodes outwards in blue light, catching the human with full force and shooting him backwards. Houses are flattened by the blast, and the frosty force shoots through the ground, causing portions of it to start collapsing. The forcewave now shoots through the village, compounding the damage. The fissures created by the explosion reach all the way to the edge of the village, which slowly starts to sink and collapse in on itself.
Audun, make a DC 15 CON save, taking 29 cold damage and 25 force damage on a fail, or half as much on a success. Thelanis, make the same save, but your DC is 10.

Torivir is struck by a burst of magical force, ripping through his body. He knows that earlier in his life, the jarring shock would have killed him, but he knows now is not the time to drop his guard. As the tavern crumbles around him, Torivir manages to avoid the falling debris. Torivir will try to use his Focused Mind ability to help others who are in danger of being struck by the debris.
Annika grins at the new dwarf’s rise to her defense.
“The local community’s opinion is always appreciated” she replies diplomatically, giving the dwarf a sardonic grin behind another sip of dark liquid. “But in all honesty, I do what I’m told and go where I’m sent. And I do what I can. Kabli's right, the North doesn’t receive near its fair share of resources or support...”
Anything more she would say is cut off when a man comes over to their section to speak to Kabli, just before a sound like a cannon goes off (to Annika’s ears, at least). The wave of force that rolls through a few scant seconds later takes her by surprise, and it’s all she can do to throw out her arms and shout the word to cast a Shield around herself as the tavern walls begin to collapse.

Yes, if you could make your first that'd be great (I mean... not great, but you know what I mean)
As the wave passes over town and it crumbles and sinks, you are tossed around like rag dolls, doing all you can to dodge flying objects and falling rubble. The ground finally stops rumbling and shaking, and you look around to see that most of the townsfolk are injured... and that the entire place is in a 40-foot-deep sinkhole. It looks stable for now, but there's no way to know how long that will last.

Annika groans, pulling herself up, still somewhat confused as to what’s happened. Looking around, she takes in the devastation - to the tavern; the surrounding streets; the town itself. She distractedly wipes blood off her brow as her eyes widen, horrified—
“Kabli?” Thorolf?!” She staggers, spinning back toward where she might have been sitting to search through the rubble, when her eye catches another familiar figure in shabby armor.
“Shit… Thelanis?!”
Unsteadily, she makes her way over to the fallen aasimar. She kneels down, hands steady even as her mind races as she attempts to stabilize the badly injured woman. They need to get out of there.

Your efforts seem unsuccessful. You hear the shifting of rubble and look around to see that Kabli, though bleeding profusely from a gash in her side, is helping another villager out from underneath a fallen ceiling beam. She nods at you. Thorolf sits up, clutching his head.

As he pulls shards of crystal from his torso, he mutters a few words and his larger wounds start to close5
