While Teller is looking at the bulletin boards, Fargrim will take a moment to appraise his city map, making sure they are heading to make in the right direction to get to the bandit camp, his impatience in looking for a fight barely contained.
Deception (to see how well he's hiding his patience): 11
Fargrim, If others were looking they would be able to tell you seem a bit impatient by the way the map is shaking in your hands but as you look at the map you can tell you are headed exactly where you need to to come out of the city closest to the bandit camp. Leaving only a couple hour travel along the river to reach it.

"It looks to only be a couple hours walk... perhaps a bit less if we make a forced march of it. Of course, we'll want to be careful as we approach. Besides which, I learned the hard way I can't keep up with you all at a full charge," he turns to Teller, "Any interesting stories on the board there?"
"Upon closer inspection, my axe-wielding friend, this actually pretty dull." He says with a friendly pat on the shoulder of Fagrim, then continues walking.

Upon reaching the gate the party is let out of the city by the guards with curt nods and suspicious stares at the non-human companions. Do you follow the river to the place the bandits have their camp or the road? It will effect the time of travel and your approach to the camp.
"Hmmm...." Fargrim considers, "What say ye we follow tha river? Figure bandits be watchin' tha roads for prey." If there's no objections, he continues leading the group up the river.
The party follows the river for a couple hours. The fall sun beats down on you causing a light sheen of sweat as you tread along the slightly more difficult terrain. A small swarm of mosquitoes follow each of you trying to take advantage of any exposed skin but after a couple of hours you can tell by looking at the map that you have arrived at the last turn in the river before you will come upon the thieves camp. This is the perfect place to either strategize how you want to finish your approach or even possibly send a scout out to survey, so what would you like to do?

"Agreed," Fargrim chimes in, stroking his beard thoughtfully. "In an open setting like this, the element of surprise would come in quite handy." He doesn't mention how his failure at the previous encounter had left the group vulnerable, but that truth hangs in the air.
For the new people, I misread 200 yards as 200 ft, and Fargrim decided it would be a good idea to full on charge a cave full of goblins while protected by Shield of Faith. Of course, Fargrim is slower than the rest of the party, so everybody but him got pounded by arrows for a couple of rounds, and by the time he reached the enemy position, they were already dead. Not his finest moment. XD
"I'll be more then happy to step ahead. Anything ya'll want me to keep an eye out for?" Avery asks, taking a moment to unsling her short bow and keep it at the ready.
Besides the river, what is around us currently?(Terrain wise)
The party is standing along the river in a small copse of trees. There are small hillocks all around and a substantial bank that leads down to the river. There is a pretty good portion of heavy brush and trees between you and the last turn. What lay beyond the turn specifically is unknown at this time.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Avery will stealth forward around the corner; moving as carefully as she can so as to no disturb the brush too much and keeping an eye out for any hidden dangers.
Arynn has been keeping quiet during the travel there; his mind is somewhat split on what to focus on right now. As the group discusses scouting, he lets their halfling companion head off to see what they can see, while keeping an eye out for the group where he is.
(Sorry for not posting. Been very unwell this past week and trying to get back into posting.)
Avery heads out, trying to keep to the denser underbrush. She goes around the bend in the river and coming to the edge of the trees she looks from behind one to see a rather large clearing in the brush. Clearly it had been cleared away and a small wooden fort was built there on the edge of the river. It stands about 15 feet tall and the three walls appear to be about 100 feet in length each. The edge along the river is open and near the center of the fort on the river side is a dock with a sturdy rowboat docked there. Six guards heads can be seen along the top of the fort, two on each wall and a gate in on the side of the fort opposite the river with a road leading to the main road. This clearly is a well planned and fairly sophisticated operation.
