Fargrim continues running up but quiets down when he sees the goblin go inside and focuses much on trying to catch up with his much faster compatriots. I didn't think this through, he thinks to himself. It was a mistake like this that got my men killed. I have to do better.

Fargrim runs up to the rest of the party sheepishly, panting to catch his breath. "I could *huff* have *wheeze* sworn they were much *pant* closer. My bad eye sometimes messes with my depth perception." He rubs the scar over his eye, hoping the rest of the party would buy the excuse.
"My goal was to distract them, and have them waste their arrows into my shield of faith. I think I can keep this spell up for another seven and a half minutes or so."

Since Arynn will make it there first, he'll slow down just before the end, taking a dodge as he arrives at the cave entrance. He'll try and hear out for the goblins, to see if they are setting up an ambush for the entrance way.
Solastor witll hunker down on one of the sides of the cave(Preferably with some cover) and will cast Light to emanate from the front of this shield that he will use to illuminate the entrance of the cave. He readies himself to cast a spell depending on what comes out of the cave.
If its a group of 4 or more he'll wait til they are close enough to catch them with Burning Hands, if its just a couple he will ready his crossbow until they get close.
A voice calls out from inside the cave at the sudden burst of light. "Go away or die!" You then hear more sounds from inside like they are attempting to erect makeshift barricades.

Fargrim heads to the cave opening, casting light on his shield as well, and then yelling inside with his voice augmented from thaumaturgy, "Let the children go". A minor earthquake shakes the ground in the cave as if coming from his powerful voice. He grabs his battleaxe ready to charge in with his comrades.
Laughter could be heard from inside the cave and the voice calls out once again. "If you want them, then come and get them."
(They are inside the cave in some inner chamber. You can see a makeshift barricade set up in the inner room and a couple heads peering through a couple holes in the barricade but cannot determine how many there are. Enter as you will.)

Alan, seeing Arynn rush straight into the mouth of danger, runs after the nimble man and waits for an opening to shoot at any goblin that pokes it's head too high.

As Arynn leaps the barricade he sees what the 2nd goblin was doing when he ran inside. Four goblins stand 20 feet from the barricade near a closed portcullis, three with bows drawn. The fourth stands with a whip and a large green troll stands between you and the goblins. When Taman cast sleep 2 of the goblins holding bows immediately fell asleep and fall to the floor, limp, with the arrows falling from the bows when they collapsed to the floor. The troll lets out a horrific roar.
Alan, not one to be outdone when it came to heroics, bolted after Arynn and used the barricade as cover. He poked his head above and his eyes widened at the sight of a troll.
Great galloping goats...
He fired off two quick shots at the remaining goblins, hoping to leave them with a single foe to defeat.

The first arrow flies at the Goblin but it ducks at the last second and it flies harmlessly over it's shoulder. The second arrow however, strikes true and impales the Goblin through the eye and it falls dead, the whip also falling to the ground. The troll now no longer having the tamer to crack it's whip at it Begins to growl loudly and attacks at the first enemy it sees. 4
It steps forward and swipes it claws at Arynn: Attack: Attack: 22 Damage: 8 Attack: Attack: 13 Damage: 13 Then it bites at his shoulder with it's large fangs. Attack: Attack: 21 Damage: 6
Arynn is attacked by the monster but dodges the claws giving it the chance it needed to latch it's fanged maw onto his shoulder and biting a chunk of flesh from his upper shoulder/neck area and begins to chew as it pulls it's mouth away.
(ouch, a roll of 4 sent it at Arynn. Anything but a 4 would have sent it at the goblins.)

Redmond levels his sword at the troll as a purplish mist rises from the blade, and clinging to the troll. His eyes flash white as a streak of arcane energy erupts from the blade towards the creature.
