Arynn was ready to attempt to catch any projectiles sent their way to prevent his companions using their ranged attacks from being hit. If the group looks ready for a hasty retreat, he'll take the rear.
"Any luck with that noise? Shall we continue into the fort? I Believe I can provide an entrance for us." Having not done much except a failed distraction, Solastor is overly energetic while talking.
"Shame we have no way to trick them into attacking themselves... those burning arrows would make quick work of the fort," Fargrim thinks aloud, thinking about the fire he sees in the distance.
"I feel they will be sufficiently focused on me. If you could do your best to shoot back and make them keep their heads down would be much appreciated. Are we ready to begin?"
(I'll roll initiative in case I need to act upon anything that happens between the groups. Just to note Arynn's ready to use deflect missiles to attempt to stop any oncoming artillary shots against him or the group.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Aye, let's do this," Fargrim says, touching where he was wounded in the previous battle as white energy glows (8). Feeling better, he once again readies battleaxe. "We'll need a strategy, though. I doubt they'll let us barge in the front door."

"Assault a fort, you say? Sounds like a glorious battle!" Fargrim concurs, ever ready for battle. "You said you had a strategy to get in, Solastor?"
Fargrim moves to rejoin the rest of the party fleeing from the riverside.
"You mean the fort with all the people actively shooting us? I think that's a terrible idea. How about we come back tomorrow?" Alan said emphatically.

"Bah. Fine. You go low, I'll go high." Alan says, following behind his insane companions, shield up to deflect any incoming arrows.
