In a couple seconds, his momentum carries him forward another 50 ft, leaving him 100 ft from the enemy as his pace begins to slow, using his years of experience to judge where the most effective range of their bows are.
Arynn does a search check to look about to see if there's any way they can close the gap between them. Perhaps a narrower part of the river, or something that will help them get passage across.
Solastor keeps his 5ft lead on Fargrim but keeps pace with him so they don't become isolated targets. He cast Shield of Faith upon himself anticipating the next barrage of arrows.
AC = 19 with buff. total of 3 level 1 spell slots used.
Avery continues to dash forward with her movement and bonus action, still out of range she keeps herself low to the ground to make herself harder to hit. (Taking the dodge action.)

Fargrim groans as an arrow manages to sneak it's way through a hole in his armor. (Concentration check: 16). Stopping 80 ft from the wall, he takes a moment to drop his axe, placing a hand over the wound as he pulls out the arrow before picking his axe back up. (Casting Cure Wounds for 11)
I'm assuming that the height is just enough to put him out of range at 80 ft. If not, he'll stop 81 ft from them.
Alan continues in behind Fargrim and the others, arrows pinging off his shield. "So, what part of this plan has us not getting turned into pincushions?" he asks, breathing heavily.
Solastor keeps moving forward slowing down to stand next to Fargrim. He pauses a moment look up before thrusting his arm forward and a Flaming Sphere forms 60ft in front of him. With a pushing motion he rams the ball of fire into the wooden wall.
Teller will follow Alan, closely, and also take the dodge action
It's never a bad idea to learn something.
