He did not want to say anything. Jetsam, having gone through hell and back with him in adventures, is considered a friend and Hadrian had to speak up but did not know what to say.

He went back to investigating the two pathways, checking if there is wind, where the water flows to and anything else he can figure out...

 You can tell that the sewer water flows in the same direction of each tunnel, but you can feel a slight bit of wind going off to the left tunnel.

Muriel, having darkvision, is gonna look into the right tunnel to see if she could find out whats there from her point of view

Perception: 20

Muriel suddenly sees what looks like to be 2 giant rats in shadows looking at them cautiously.

Muriel signals to the rest of the group and says, "Hey, you guys, there are two oversized pieces of sewer rugs over in the right tunnel. And when you usually see two giant rats, there is most likely to be more. I suppose that we should go left if we want to avoid a fight."

Jetsam really doesn’t mind a fight. He shrugs. “Sure.”

Tommy pipes up. "We could save the city from an invasion of Rats if we take care of em now"

Balasar coments, "I'd prefer not to leave anything behind us to catch us off guard.  Although who knows how banged up we'll be and with how much healing left to patch us up if we do fight.  No risk no rewards."

Balasar readies for a possible fight though.

"I've still got Mama in my pocket (healing spirit) think wevare fine on the heals, plus a few other healing spells

“Eww, I better get some gold out of this!” Violet’s face looks visually disgusted even in the dark.

“I also still have heals left,” Rizo, who had followed silently, announces from the rear files. As sewer of ours assault his nostrils he was reminded why he had assumed a shallower breath and kept silent.

Tommy pulls out a bandana and pours a but of sented oil in it then hands it to Rizo. 

Well let's do this see if these rats aree sitting on a hoard

“Thanks!” Rizo says when trying it on. “That’s a neat trick.”

Suddenly, you hearing a slight thunderous sound coming from the tunnel where Muriel saw the two giant rats. However, it sounded more like a stampede of small-footed animals. Muriel, having darkvision, sees a giant horde of giant rats charging at them, and a uncountable amount as well. Muriel suddenly shouts without warning, "Everyone! Quick, run into the left tunnel! And run as fast as you can!"
