Over the next few moments the group jockeyed for position and maintained their defenses. Kasimyr stoodm, peering into the darkness and the dim light of some far off glowing embers before having the presence of mind to step behind the hard corner or the wall at the intersection. THere was murmuring, too low even for him to understand from the dark.
Just as Kasimyr was about to call out and ask the group what they should do a lone goblin, with a shield in one hand but his sword at his waist appeared slowly from the darkness, speaking in broken common.
"This is home. We find many moons ago. You stay past big door. You leave."
I'm still away from home but should be home by tonight. I'll make a map update a little later today, and hopefully we can get back in the groove of things.
(ok, looking at back at whats been written over the last couple of days I think I screwed some stuff. The best way to fix it is probably just to post a new map based on the gist of what you all said, and start back up from there. Hopefully, everyone is still interested.
Brade had run off after the goblins as if he too could see in the darkness. Only the light from Kimo, Kiana, and then Ali gave him the ability to see the goblin emerge from the dark. In the dim shadows, just beyond the light of their torches, more shifting forms could just barely be made out. The goblin directly in front of the group made no hostile moves as he stood behind his shield as best he could, but seemed intent on getting you all to return the way you came.
Behind you, the dim red light of some other room breaks the darkness that otherwise would envelope the hall. To the north a third room is there, but cloaked in the dark of night. Occasional bouts of lightning give brief glimpses into ruined pillars and debris.
Brade on his turn will eat another berry but will not turn violent unless others in the group are up for it. He will not advance any further, waiting for the others to catch up and bring torches. While waiting, he will glare at this new common-speaking goblin but won’t converse.
Kiana holds her action to cast toll the dead on any goblins that decide not to play nice.
"So... are we leaving? What are we doing, team?"

Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny. Go to the current Competition of the Finest 'Brews! It's a cool place where cool people make cool things.

"We've already probably scared them to death. Maybe we can set up outside the big doors and keep watch now that we know what's going on" Ali says, her resolve washed away
The goblin continues to eye you all warily, giving each of you that he can see an appraising look.
"You go. We stay. We no trouble."
Lets drop out of initiative, but if things heat up we'll just fall back into the same order unless someone objects. We'll just pick up in line of whoever acts first. In the meantime, I assume Brade is going to eat the last two berries that Ali gave him.
I suppose Kiana would start nervously walking away from the goblins, back the direction the party came from. Still moving slowly and dodging, mind you.

Your group retreats back down the hallway the way you came, Kasimyr and Brade bringing up the rear as the barbarian drops the last two of the goodberries into his mouth. Gingerly pawing at his now bruised leg where the arrow had pierced him he gave the ranger a chance look as they passed through the heavy stone doors. Beyond, your torches bring more light back to the initial crypt you first took shelted in where you are greeted with quisical expressions by the driver and guards who remained behind.
With a nod, Colm and Kiana push the doors closed, but the now busted lock barely latches. For now it looks like the door will stay shut.
Outside, the occasional rumble of thunder is still audible but the sound of rain is gone. Whether that means it has stopped raining, or simply no longer the deluge it was when you first forced your way inside, you dont know.
(With apologies. Helluva week. Think I should be back in the swing now)
Brade, clearly dissatisfied with events and wearing the emotions plainly on his face for anyone to see, will set up his spot to sleep right up against the doors, give the group a curt “good night” and try to sleep the rest of the night.

Colm tilts hos head. “Seems reasonable.”
If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.

Kasymir looks at the Goblins, "I heard flute playing before. Do you play the flute? Do you know where the sound comes from?"
"ALWAYS GIVE A MONSTER AN EVEN BREAK!"

Brade will continue to eat berries. “Personally I wanna see what’s so important that they gotta fill me full of arrows without warning.”
The goblin gives Kasimyr with a strange look and shakes his head, then goes back to motioning you back away
"You leave back through door. This our home."
Kasymir looks at the others, "Should we back off? I mean, if it's there home. Or do we think there is something here?"
"ALWAYS GIVE A MONSTER AN EVEN BREAK!"

"I'm not much for combat, so I say we leave them if they won't attack us, maybe we could share resources"
Ali turns to the goblin (or where the voice is coming from) "We're sorry, you scared us. Do you want to share space?"
The goblin continues to eye you all warily, giving each of you that he can see an appraising look.
"You go. We stay. We no trouble."

Ali will distribute the rest to any others injured (including goblins)

Brade will follow the others, his mood quiet and brooding.
Colm follows too

Ha, no worries. I’ve been super busy too.)
