Kimo, torch in one hand and his spear in the other stepped confidently to the sarcophagus just a few paces to his left. the top was already slightly ajar so despite his lack of strength he was able to get his crowbar between the lid and the case to pry it open wide enough to look inside. Dirt, fragments of bone, and remnants of cloth were the only obvious things, and he wasnt yet ready to try and heave the heavy stone lid onto the ground. His eyes turned to the strange glyphs incribed around the outside edge of the stone lid.
Unfortunately, he had no idea what they said.
He however did have the presence of mind to turn and look at the other nearby sarcophagii. While their writing was just as cryptic, and hard to make out at this distance anyway, it was clear that they too had similar writing.
I moved you to B7. Thats probably an investigation check, not a perception check. But thats still a nice 20. Unfortunately, its wasted. :(
While the rest are exploring. Ali ritual casts speak with animals and has a light conversation with the horses, congratulating them and making sure they're okay
Kiana kept walking north until finding a wall or something out of the ordinary within the 40-foot radius of the torch. She slowed down somewhat when Brade called to her so that he could catch up.

Kimo walks back to the, others and says "I went to check out the sarcophagi for a better look and I spotted some strange hydrographs on one them but it appears they all have similar ones not sure what it translates to though."
Colm raises one eyebrow at this statement. “Oh? I wouldn’t know anything about that sort of deal.”

If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.
While Ali began her ritual casting near the entrance with the horses Kimo had returned to the area where Colm still stood.
Brade double-timed it deeper into the room after the cleric of Amaril, taking only a moment to lay his freshly lit torch on the lid of a sarcophagus before unslinging his shield and trotting after Kiana's light.
There against the back wall, a large set of stone doors like the ones the group had pried open to get in, rest quietly waiting. A bold lock stands in the center of the door, plainly visible in the light of Kiana's torch
"You wouldn't happen to know any lockpicking techniques, would you, my muscular friend?"
Kiana gives the lock on the doors a small tug, to make sure it is secured.

As the four of you head to the doors to investigate Ali remains where she is, intent on finishing her ritual as Kasimyr considers his options. The two guards, seemingly unnerved by the loss of some of their light retreat further into the room toward the torch Brade left on the sarcophagus.
Brade frowns at the lock and says deferentially to Kiana,
“No ma’am, the only technique I know is with this tool.”
He’ll take Kimo’s offered crowbar and give it a go on the door, trying to fit it into a crack between the doors and apply sudden force to try to break the locking mechanism and open the door.
Athletics check 15
He will give repeated effort until the door yields or he feels satisfied that his efforts are not enough.
“What could be locked away behind this door? We can’t get into too much trouble, I suppose, if we take a look. This place is so remote and ruined, I bet the owners aren’t in the picture any more.”
Kasimyr steps to the deepest part of the room with the rest of the group, leaving the guards with the driver and Ali with her subtle rhythmic motions and strange whispered chants.
While there is enough of a gap to get the edge of the crowbar in, it seems equally obvious that the massive stone door isnt likely to succomb to any efforts to use the crowbar to bypass its lock. Leaning in with the torch for a closer look Kiana notices that there are already numerous scratch marks on the intricate device, which seems strangely out of place in a ... tomb?
Especially given there was no such lock on the outside doors.
Brade will embarrassedly hand back the crowbar. Standing about awkwardly, he will wonder what to do next. Then he will remember:
“Kasymir and I noticed, up the hill, in the ruined tower, there was a hole in the floor with a rope going down. Maybe that leads to the other side of these doors?”
"Great idea. Why don't we just run up over there and check it out? It's not like terminal velocity shards of ice can hurt you that much, right?"

The door does in fact seem to be locked. If there is an unlocking mechanism beyond a keyhole it is on the other side.
Colm heads to the back of the room and joins sith Kino and Kiana. “What’s goin on here?”

I suppose a part of Brade will wonder aloud, too,
“What could be locked away behind this door? We can’t get into too much trouble, I suppose, if we take a look. This place is so remote and ruined, I bet the owners aren’t in the picture any more.”
Kasymir will lend Bade a hand with trying to open the sarcophagus, all the while worrying about the flute.

Kasymir shakes his head, "It will hurt too much. We may just need to wait for a break in the storm, if we can't get this open."

Brade agrees with Kasymir and adds,
“The storm can’t last forever. But then, I suppose everyone may want to continue their travels.”
