I think you are quite correct. We have had some wonderful submissions and some great suggestions. I will message the final player and create the OOC thread once completed. I really appreciate the engagement from everyone, for those not selected I thank you kindly and would encourage you to try again on another thread or have a go at being a DM (if you aren't one already) and creating your own thread. I dry ran this campaign using a team composed of my previously unsuccessful characters :-)

Ixsas apparently got lost on his way to the Yawning Portal Inn and Tavern.  If run into a dark-cloaked yuan-ti skulking through the shadows in the streets of Waterdeep, could you please give him directions?

• Character Backstory (Including how your character came to be in the Yawning Portal Inn): I befriended a druid and was moved by druidic teachings. I decided to follow your friend's guidance and give something back to the world. On my adventure to give back, I ran into an old friend that I fought alongside of for many years, he has invited me over for a drink and then after one drink, I wake up suddenly just outside the Yawning Portal Inn.
