"Is everyone okay?"Cat asks as the chaos dies down. She listens as the mysterious drow ranger makes himself known. "Huh, I've never heard of you! Oh, sorry, how rude of me. I'm Cat Puddletwist! Thank you for fighting that troll, you're quite brave! I'm... not really sure what that 'Bregan D'aerthe' is, but they sound like bad news. But we're trying to find someone - do you think you can help us with that? Have you seen a halfling that... oh, what did he look like again, Eilla?"
Drizzt is intrigued by Osborne's comment and the offers of help ‘Well then my new friends, if you see Bregan D’aerthe please pass along my request for a meeting. I am staying at the Portal for now, but I will be about town continuing my own investigations into the current troubles. If I’m not here then Joel or Durnan should be able to contact me.’
At the mention of his name Joel perks up and adds ‘Well my good Elf, these kind folks have offered to help find poor missing Emilo. I would hate for them to miss him due to lack of funds. Maybe you could add a little extra to their reward to cover expenses’ Joel is obviously twirling one of his Favour coins between his fingers as he says this.
Drizzt grumbles something about cheap innkeepers and bards as he passes out an extra 10gp each.
Joel then addresses Durnan 'These fine folks are clearly in need of rest and recuperation'. Durnan grunts and says 'Fine. Meals and rooms for the night. But it's coming out of your tips Bard'

Drizzt responds to Cat 'Unfortunately I haven’t seen Emilo. He is uniquely hard to find, even for one such as myself or Joel. And whilst I am fond of Emilo, I must concentrate on my own investigations into Bregan D’aerthe'

“Durnan, after all of that, I do believe I would like one of those delicious beers that we were talking about, that new one you just got in, and a bowl of your stew please. Battling trolls and drakes is tough work, works up an appetite, yeah?” Sinak smiles at Durnan and tips an invisible hat to Drizzt and Joel saluting them, giving Drizzt a wink and a nod, letting him know he’ll be on the lookout for him.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"Well if they were willing to set us up for the night, they must not be in too great a hurry to have their missions done. Let's meet down in the taproom at sunrise, shall we? Then we can go to the lizard-on-a-stick tavern and ask around, I suppose."
Ballen scampers back out, grabs the fresh ten gold and slinks back behind the bar for a long minute before returning. "Hmm? Rest? Okay with me, just let me know when you're leaving." She will slip over towards Durnan for a moment, "Any idea how those monsters got up? I thought the portal was closed and guarded usually?"

“Oi, I like the sound of that. Maybe while we rest, we can play a few games!” He says twirling a coin in his fingers.
"So now we're hunting for Emilio and this Bregan D'aerthe? We've sure gotten busy, huh?" Cat chuckles. "I guess that's the magic of the Yawning Portal! Well, if you guys are in, then I'm in too, of course! My shop isn't going to open itself. Thank you for the money, Mr. Do'urden!"
Durnan replies to Ballen 'To be honest this isn't the first time this has happened and it probably won't be the last. The things down there are really powerful and I'm surprised they don't get through our defences more often. Oh well it brings in the punters and sells the beer. Speaking of which.' Durnan fetches some beers for table, with small fruit beer for Ballen.

After the stew and beer, Sinak sits in the corner and watches the comings and goings in the bar, continuing casual conversation with his new found friends. After the evening starts to press on, he stretches and looks down at his arm, still healing. “Well, are you all going to take Durnan’s offer and get a room for the night? I’m worn out, ready for a night’s rest. How do the rest of you feel?”

Ballen finishes her drink and shrugs, "I take lots of naps here, so fine by me. If we're going to investigate dangers a good rest is probably a good idea."

“Oi, true. How about we play some games before we get all shut-eye?”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Eilla is game. She puts down five gold coins on the table. "Time to win back what you owe me Osborne. Cards or dice? I trust my luck even against a shark like you."

"Oh, I don't know if I want to stay the night here. I prefer my own room to rooms in inns. My bed is just so cozy! But I will stay as long as you all do!"
Cat just watches the game and nurses a mug of ale, not drinking from it very much.
Eilla sighs, pushing the gold she put in the center of the table over to Osborne. "Well that will teach me to trust in luck," she says. "I think I'll head to bed then, good seeing you all, even you Osborne." Assuming no more trolls crawl out of the well, she heads to bed for a well needed long rest.
Sinak watches the game proceed and then heads to his room to rest and recover as well. “Good night everyone. Here’s to new partnerships, and new adventures.” He’s excited about what tomorrow brings. When he makes it to his room and the door closes, he prays to the Raven Queen and reports all that he’s observed today.
(Taking long rest.)
