The radiant flame illuminates the imp, but it recognizes this magic and quickly moves out of its cone.
Reya, looking quite haggard, ignores her situation and attacks the cultist. Her anger pushes her first cut deep, but then her own damage results in the following two misses. (11 dam) the cultist still stands, but does NOT look good from how he holds himself now.
Wilfred watches as Reya is attacked by the now visible imp. "Annoying little bugs! Reya, what are you doing, you're better than this, right?"
Wilfred runs forward, glaive pointed straight ahead of him. He impales the imp on the glaive, but doesn't stop running. He gets behind the cultist, then spins around, slashing the cultists back.
"Okay, is that it? Kitty, any more imps?" Wilfred says, with the imp still impaled on his glaive.
Reya is about to thank Wilfred for getting her out of the situation, but his comment makes her stop and frown.
Slobberchops leaps off of Reed's head, making sure to avoid the sewer water and sets about washing himself, leg straight in the air. Apparently back to his normal catlike self now that the imp has been taken care of.
“That was impressive”, Corlith says to Wilfred as he makes his way over to the others.
”Perhaps we should be a little more careful going forward. Are we good to proceed now?”, he adds looking at Reya.
“If so I have an idea of something to help us. But it will only last 10 minutes so we would have to hustle, and I would have to stick up front with Reed”.
Roo watches as the fight comes to a sudden stop, and then he waits, his head tilting from side to side as Reed lays his simian ear against the door. The Gallus isn't sure what to do at the moment, his eyes flicking up and down the length of the hall while he scans for threats.
"Do you think..." He says, out loud but to no one in particular. "What if she's behind us somewhere, and we're going the wrong way?"
"Well that was eventful... shall we?" Archie gestures around at the now silent hallway devoid of hostiles, she checks one of the cultists over for a spare dagger and then sidles up to the next doorway along the corridor on the left. Assuming that anyone on the other side of it would have likely come out due to the noise, she forgoes listening in and instead tries the handle, opening it just a crack and pausing, if it is unlocked.
Reya nods at Corlith, attempting to wipe some of her blood off and sheathing her weapons. She raises an eyebrow to Corlith, "What's this idea?"
As Corlith and Reed start trying to figure things out, Roo's comment has Reya a bit concerned and she looks around the corner they had just come and finds it empty.
Pushing past Reed, Archie and Roo 'Stor head into the first northern door off this corridor. The scent hits them before anything else and before they know it, Slobberchops has dashed into the room between their legs.
It is a fairly large room, with no other exits. Hanging in the middle of the room from the 10-foot-high ceiling are six 3-foot-long chains, each ending in a hook. Flayed boar carcasses hang from four of the hooks, while the remaining two hooks are bare. Apparently, this is the Vanthampur's cold storage room.
Archie looks to Roo and gives a happy nod, "thanks!".
In the cold storage room Archie wiggles her fingers in delight and starts cutting strips of meat off the hung and dried boars, producing a flame and speed cooking a couple strips she tosses one to Roo and gobbles one up herself, "guys, food!"
Virro shrugs his shoulders, nodding to Reed. “Sure. Why not? As good of a place as any.” He picks up the cultist body and walks shuffling toward the hook, saying to himself “Little feet, little feet, little feet” then skewers them through the back and hangs them like a piece of meat. He searches their pockets for anything else of interest. If no one else has done it yet, he does the same with the second body. After finishing, he exits the room and says “Which way?”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"It seems lessons have not been learned, and caution is not yet desired", Corlith says to Reya with a sigh, motioning towards Archie barreling through another doorway.
He declines the food, "I'm good, still full from the breakfast we just ate". He does acquire the mask from the other cultist though, and cleans it.
"If we decide to proceed with more caution, perhaps we can use these masks to scout and appear as though we fit in. Especially as we enter rooms", he suggests to the others.
"hey does anyone else wanna make some quick jerky? Might as well fill out rations, could come in handy?" The room quickly fills with the smell of bacon as Archie continues producing flames and cooking strips, unabated by whatever anyone else might say.
Reed doesn't hear anything beyond the next door, so he cracks it open and takes a look.
It is a very large room for being down beneath the manor. It appears to be a large dining room with two wooden trestle tables with benches standing in the middle of the room. These are brightly lit by six tall wrought-iron candle holders spaced along the walls. Each candle holder stands six feet high and has nine lit candles at the top of it.
The candles afford the room a nice warm glow and there is another door on the west wall.

Before they start moving on, Reed offers Slobberchops another treat he'd liberated from the kitchen.
"Good work on the imp, Slobby," Reed says.
He then gestures at the door in the north wall.
"We should take a look in here and maybe drag these two bodies in there," Reed suggests.
He puts an ear to the door, listening for sounds.

Assuming he doesn't hear anything, and if the others are ready, Reed pushes the door open.
“Actually, hold on”, Corlith says and wanders over to the closest cultist. He reaches down and takes their mask.
”Perhaps this will help us move around without drawing too much attention”, he says cleaning it.

"Wait, Archie. I'll buck go with you. In case something happens. I'll cover you."
His feet dig into Glory of Morning's hips and the possum trots forward, toward the door.

"Have at it Slobberchops," Reed says to the cat, indicating the boar.
As he looks around the room, he nods to himself.
"This looks to be the perfect place to hide bodies," Reed adds. He pokes his head back out of the room. "We need to drag those in here."
Archie looks to Roo and gives a happy nod, "thanks!".

Once the bodies are hidden in the cold room, pockets are searched and the room is searched, Reed looks down the hallway.
”The next door then?”
He sets out down the hallway to the next door on the north side of the hall and gives it a listen.

Letting the others take a closer look at the dining hall he heads towards the door in the western wall.
"What was that, Corlith?" Reed asks over his shoulder, doing his best to get Corlith's attention without shouting. "You want us to put on masks?"
He then listens at the door for any sound on the other side.
