Tobias looks on nervously as the two square off against one another. "Uhhh... C'mon you two...how about we..." he waits to see if Crispy takes Monilith's peace offering.
Monolith shakes the hand firmly. and mutters so only crispy can hear.
We are both warriors and you will not slay me as easily as you keep suggesting, if it comes to it we will face to the death. So please stop testing this friendship, you risk the future of our lives, this group, these countries, and my paycheck.
The verbal sparing of the group is rather entertaining, but Luc is glad to see it come to an end, especially without actually coming to blows. Trying to bring the group back on task, he pipes up "Yaga's Magic Shoppe sounds like a winner! Shall we go?"
Crispy whispers back, "Fantastic! Then stay on my good side." She holds up her hand and shows you a number of fingers to remind you how many times bigger people she's killed. Her smile fades, and she turns back to the group, rolling her eyes.
Monolith mutters to himself if anyone's a ***** here, its her. Completely full of herself... He shakes his head and goes along with whatever the group does, hoping he might get on better terms with the other members of the group.
Virion and the others let you go with a reminder to be back at the Viper in about two hours time. The streets of Pheros in the early morning are dominated by working class citizens hustling to go to their respective work places. For some of you, this is one of the most populated and densely packed cities you've ever been in, it's almost impossible to have more then a few feet of personal space with all the bodies packed tight on the designated side walks, as the main part of the street is dominated by donkey and camel powered caravans.
The four lead the two new comers to the jewlers district, where bright engagement rings and other expensive baubles are glittering in every window front. One corner store is strangely un-eye-catching compared to all the other storefronts all vying for your attention, and to the trained eye this makes it even more noticeable then all the others. An extremely weathered sign might read "Yoga Bobba's Magic Shoppe" if you squint real hard.
Once you walk into the store, it's like you walked into a whole new planet all togeather. A strange crystaline orb is hanging from a thin string connected to the ceiling, made of hundreds of little glass panels that reflect bright neon lights that are coming from fixtures in the corner of the shoppe. The whole place is dark and foggy, expect for the reflecting neon light that gives the place a rather festive look. You hear an band with strange instruments and beautiful female voice singing something about the letters YMCA, but you don't actually see where the music is coming from, or where the band could possibly be. Shelves with strange knickknacks are shoved haphazardly against the wall, making a large clearing in the center of the store where a youthful blonde woman with absolutely gravity defying hair, and a strange and shiny skintight green outfit that bellows out near the feet and hands. She seems to be really into the music, and is dancing with six men with radically different skin colors and strange outfits.
After a few seconds, the woman notices you all walked in, and with an collective blink of an eye, the entire store transforms to a somewhat more normal looking shoppe front, with the shelves once again taking up most of the surface area. There are many things of interest in the store, liquids in vials of varying sizes and shapes, an large section dedicated to potted plants, another completely filled with stuffed animals, another filled with various strange cotton shirts with bright images and words printed on the front and sometimes the back.
There are many other shelves throughout the store, all filed in with strange objects that you honestly have no idea what the use might be. Like strange over exaggerated hands with the index finger up, made of a strange light and pourus material that often has some-type of logo printed on the front, another shelf filled with what seems to be miniature metal circles with some-type of image on front, and a clothes pin on the back, and globes of planets with countries and continents that do not match up with the one you currently inhabit. Decks of cards that give off an powerful magical energy, strange boxes with striking art work, and large lettering spell out things like "Jumanji" and "Monopoly"
There are also shelves with things like jewelry, jewel encrusted daggers, swords and axes of all kinds, etc. It really almost seems like there's a little bit of everything in the storefront. You do not see any signs of life besides you own group. What you assume to be a front counter is completely unmanned, and is perhaps the only surface of the store that is not inhabited by some sort of knickknack.
The only rule of Boba's is there is no rules. You can use what I have mentioned, or you can make up your own things to look for, like chess sets or funny shot glasses and Yoga will probably have it.
As he enters the store, Luc is struck by the strange music and the many wondrous items lining the shelves. "I have never seen anything like this before."he says to no one in particular. As Ary introduces them to Bobba, Luc casually waves a hand in her general direction as his full attention is drawn to a mesmerizing object.
It looks like a small round metal shield mounted on a stand, but the shield has slots in it around the entire front. It looks more like a small cage actually, and imprisoned within the cage is a wheel made of dull looking blades. At the bottom of the base is a small rope leading off and ending in some sort of receptacle on the wall. As he examines it further, Luc's hand rests on a button on the base, and the wheel inside the cage starts to turn at an unimaginable speed. A cool wind blows past his face, and he jumps back expecting a gale force to knock him down. The wind is gentle though, and rather pleasing, especially in the confines of the stuff store.
Luc turns to the group, and says "Come look at this 'Wind Maker', it is absolutely brilliant!"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Hello there," the half orc says the the shop keeper upon the prompting of Ary. Looking rather dumbfound and unsure where to look next, Tobias questions the shopkeeper while continuing to glance about. "Do all of these items have some sort of magical properties?"
Having received his answer he moves deeper into the store to explore more thoroughly. One of the first things that catches his eye is a small, light gray, rectangular box, about the size of, but just a little thicker than his hand. On the top half of the front is a green square, and below that appears a black cross and four buttons - two red and two dark gray. Within the green square are various shapes of differing shades of gray falling from top to bottom. Hmm... The gnomes has sure outdone themselves here. (Intelligence 9) After some time of experimenting with the controls he figures out the basics of how to move and rotate the shapes, but does not understand the point. He shrugs, puts it back on the shelf and moves on to find something else.
Monolith's eyes widen st the sight of the store not heaving Come last time.
oh, wow look at this place
He looks all around eyes darting this way and that, they then settle on a stuffed toy a moment, it depicts a man in a bright red shirt and hat, he wears blue overalls and a big M appears on the front of the hat. His face is addorned with what monolith considers a bit ridiculous. Next to it seems to be some of of bright green dinosaur, with no teeth. Picking them up he finds the man can "ride" the dinosaur. Losing interst he chucks them back on the shelf. Are those sopposed to be adventurers or clowns, because though don't look so tough. place
he then walks off in search of the next thing to catch his eye.
Luc’s eye is drawn to a funny little doll sitting on a high shelf. It looks sort of like a small gnome with a bulbous face, but it naked and a light tan color. The most curious feature though, is the doll’s hair… it stands straight up and is PURPLE! A small tag is attached to the to it reads “Luck Troll”. Though it looks like no troll Luc has ever seen. “I wonder how lucky it really is.” He mumbles… Holding it up he asks the proprietor, “How much is this little guy?”
OOC: If this is not acceptable, just make the price more than 200 GP. Troll Doll of Luck: While the doll is in your possession you may choose to add a 1d4 to any d20 roll you make. This extra roll can be made after you roll the d20, but must be rolled before the DM announces the outcome of the d20 roll. The luck is only good once a day, and recharges at dawn every morning.
Luc continues to look around the shop, hoping the proprietor will be free to discuss pricing soon. "Time seems to pass strangely here in this shoppe. I know we have only been here but a few minutes, but it somehow feels like days..." His eye then lands on a strange ball that is colored red on the top half, and white on the bottom half, and a circle of black dividing the halves. There is also what looks like a white button in the center...'I wonder what would happen if I press that button...' he thinks to himself
The strange time warp feeling continues to make Luc feel uncomfortable. He looks over the rows and rows of items, and the whole shoppe seems to shift before him and rearrange itself. He looks for Yoga Bobba, but she is nowhere in sight. He turns around again, and seems to now be by himself... then another item grabs his attention...It is another doll, but this one is a rather "anatomically correct" female, with long blonde hair. She is wearing a severly revealing dress, and shoes with the highest heels he has ever seen. Next to it is a similarly anatomical man 'doll', but Lus hardly thinks he looks like a "man's man'...

(Dang it, i meant to say WHILE YOU SLEEP. Fixed.)
"Seeing as I can't speak properly, i'll take your hand. Must be my allergies."
Crispy takes Monolith's hand, giving him a look of warning.
"You're not as dumb as you look." She joked. "Actually, yes you are."
Monolith shakes the hand firmly. and mutters so only crispy can hear.

“Maybe ill drink another potion with nightmares!” She sasses, poking Ary in the ribs with her elbow, winking.

I nod to Yoga as I enter, and I walk over to the globes to see if any look like the planet that i'm from.
"Hey Baby, we found you new costumers! Guys, say hi to Bobba" Ary smiles as she enters the shop.
