As Coltinar talks, this is the first time that the Lycanthrope really looks to someone in the group. He shook his head and said, "Sorry, father, but I don't want anyone messing around in my head. Nothing personal." "I by the way, I don't have any acquaintance with Boho, indeed, And you don't seem like someone who would, but we really never know the people, hum"he say with a slight smile that shows a big scar stamped near to his mouth.
On the other hand, Nine Nipples found the idea of a mind link amusing and readily accepted Brother Coltinar's proposal. He chuckled, "Why not? I've had stranger things happen to me today."
In the midst of the conversations, Rylia learned that Nine Nipples likes to perform a mix of popular tunes and a few of his own compositions. He say that is always quite open to playing whatever the crowd requested, even that sometimes has to do some bizzare improvise.
When Arr try to know more about the fighters in the upcoming brawl, the Lycanthrope explains giving a sly smile and responded in a somewhat cryptic manner, "I do what I have to, to make living, just like everyone else around here."His implication suggested that the pit fights were one way he made ends meet. "What about you, bro? How good are you without this big hammer? He asked almost trying to be nice.
With Arr lending a helping hand, Bryn took a bit of time to investigate the individual lockers in the dormitory. As he carefully examined the lockers, he eventually came across one that seemed more amenable to being secured. Working with his set of thieves' tools, Bryn adeptly manipulated the lock's mechanism, setting it in such a way that it would be difficult for anyone to open it without the proper knowledge or tools.
Arr gave a nod of approval. This locker was as secure as it could be.
Paladin observed Bryn's work. He couldn't help but be impressed by Bryn's ingenuity and deftness in providing additional security for their belongings.
With a quiet nod and a friendly pat on Bryn's shoulder, Paladin expressed his admiration. "Excellent work, Bryn. Your gear should be safe and sound in there."
Paladin looks and comment in a discreet manner, that the locker couldn't accommodate all their belongings. So, he leaned in closer to Brother Coltinar. "Brother, Would you mind placing my belongings in the Bag of Holding?"
Arr replies to the Lycanthrope, „Well, if I don’t have the big hammer,“ he holds up a strong forearm with the hand made to a fist. „I use a small hammer,“ and lifts the second fist, „and another.“
Bryn hears Paladin's request and also asks to store his extra stuff in the bag. Speaking softly, he says to the Brother, "Perhaps if you put the bag in the locker first, we can put our equipment in it without the others seeing. Then I'll secure the locker while we're out of the room...I'll let the others know."
Bryn quietly tells each member of the group about the plan to put the Bag of Holding into the locker and then each person placing their extra equipment inside of it to avoid suspicion or an obvious display of the bag's holding abilities. He will store his backpack and adventuring gear, the shortbow and quiver of arrows. When everyone had stored their stuff he locks the container.
After ensuring the safety of your belongings and having everything securely stowed away, you return to the main hall of the Shamukaar tavern.
The goblin approaches presenting the available food and drink options:
"For dinner, we have some interesting choices. You can pick from:
Globlob Grub: A local delicacy made from regional snails. It's a unique experience that tickles a goblin's palate. If you'd like to give it a try, it's 2 sp per serving.
Lizard Tail Soup: A hot and comforting soup prepared with lizard tails. Ideal for those seeking something hearty. This soup costs 3 sp.
Steamy Sizzler: A dish with grilled mushrooms and vegetables, perfect for vegetarians. This one is priced at 3 sp.
Drinks are free once you already paid for the fight entrance. We have:
Mossbrew Ale: A local beer fermented from moss. It has a unique flavor with a hint of bitterness.
Herbal Infusion: A refreshing herbal tea, perfect for the warm climate of the Cogs. It's non-alcoholic and quite popular here.
Scorching Swill: A fiery drink, not for the faint of heart, known to warm you up in this gloomy environment.
So, what would you like for dinner and drinks? I'm here to serve!" The goblin smiles.
Rylia doesn't really understand what Bryn did with his tools, but she's impressed nonetheless. "Marvelous job. You'll let me place some of my things in there?" she asks with a smile. (She'd leave her pack and after much consideration, her viol.)
At the main hall, she puzzles over the food options a bit. "What'll you get, Bryn?" see asks. She then lowers her voice to almost a whisper. "A lot sounds kind of odd."
In the end she settles on the Steamy Sizzler. "And I will try one of those Scorching Swill!" she proclaims.
Bryn assures Rylia that her viol will be safe in the locker barring any extraordinary events! "But if you get a chance to perform tonight, we'll come back and get it!"
After hearing the food options, and Rylia's questions, Bryn also chooses the Scorching Swill to start. "I've heard that in some cultures, snails are quite the delicacy. I wonder how they are cooked here? You know what, since we're on an adventure, I'm going to be adventurous and order a plate of them! An order of the Globlub Grub for me, please!"
When the goblin leaves with their orders, he will say, "I'll let you know how they are and share them if you want to try..."
Sitting next to Rylia, he looks over the room and the event floor, not minding having a chair not facing the fighting area. He is focused more on the other patrons and staff, memorizing small details and features that he could incorporate into future disguises.

Brother Coltinar puts the bag in first then lets everyone put their stuff in.
Brother Coltinar replies to the waiter, "Very good. I'll have the soup please and a scorching swill."
To the group, "Unless someone is already paying I'll provide for the meal tonight."

As the group returns to the tavern hall, you notice that more customers have arrived since you last left. In the table where was the male Tiefling, two new individuals catch attention. One of them is a dwarf, with broad shoulders and a fiery red beard, and the other is a female Tiefling who's gesticulating as they chat. They are engaged in a lively conversation.
Sitting at a solitary table near a stone column in the middle of the hall is an imposing Minotaur. He seems to enjoy his drink in solitude, enjoying their own company.
At the counter are two patrons engaged in some animated banter. Their laughter and boisterous voices bring to the tavern's lively atmosphere. At the other end of the counter, a Shifter analyzes a container filled with snails and a long lizard tail brought by a gnoll. They appear to be negotiating. "It's not worth 5. I'll give you 1 gp for everything." "OK, OK! Get me a bowl of soup and we'll have a deal" Says the gnoll.
The goblin leads the group to a large, empty table situated on the corner. As everyone takes their seats and starts discussing the options offered, amid the bustling atmosphere, all eyes are drawn to a new arrival. It's an orc, a towering and rugged figure. At that moment, there is a certain hush over the room as he takes two steps and stops scanning the surroundings. The patrons pause a moment to observe this newcomer, but not directly.
The orc quietly nods to the goblin who was attending to your group. The goblin, in return, offers a discrete nod of acknowledgment. The orc heads towards an unoccupied small table nestled in the opposite corner and takes a seat. The chatter and laughter gradually resume as the patrons return to their drinks and conversations.
"I'll go get your drinks. The food may take a few minutes. If you need anything, just scream out for Ham and I'll come over. Enjoy the view while you wait," he sarcastically jokes, acknowledging the lack of any view as he heads towards the bar, raising his voice to shout the food orders towards the door behind the counter.
Rylia watches all the bustling activity throughout the room. She makes sure to get a seat alongside Bryn. When the rugged orc comes in, she watches him, quite interested in the recon from the room.
Just before the giving leaves she tries to get his attention. "Ham! Who is that orc? One of the fighters?"
(Bryn rolled a 7 for perception - then the system died and my post here didn't stick =)
Bryn holds the chair out for Rylia, trying to act like the gentlemen he used to see in the better inns and taverns high side. He, too, is distracted by the huge orc entering the place, unable to focus on anything else.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
