Paladin has been silent for as time as he listens. He's not sure what's expected of him with the table settings, but he makes a show of attempting to dribble the food against his face plate and wipes it clean with a napkin.
"Lady... I am, of course, happy to assist anyone in need, but you appear to have resources at your beck and call that are quite capable of handling a recovery such as this. Why would you want us for this? I'm not even sure what it is you're wanting us to retrieve. What is this heirloom?"
"We will come and protect Brother Coltinar and the others," Arr states after having listened to the conversation while trying the oils that were offered to him before and that he brought along. "But, yes, what is it exactly that you need us for?"

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
Rylia turns to Skyryn. "I am very greatful you were there to help," she tells him, giving him a slight bow of her head. "And I think I saw that goblin. She had a beautiful blue cloak. Last thing I remember was she changed into a blue dragon." She then looks around at the others with a grin. "That's what I recall at least. I might have been a bit out of sorts at that moment."
"Well, I didn't see any blue dragon. But I was worried about you as the globlin just disappeared before I thanked him. I don't know if I would have found your way so fast without him. I guess he was just a good person who didn't want to get too deeply involved in any trouble." Says Skyrm in a low voice and looking a little embarrassed, clearly trying to keep Elaydren from overhearing this conversation.
"Well, it was clearly the hand of the Sovereigns that saved us then," Rylia says confidently. She looks over at Bryn. "I'll have to come up with a song to commemorate our new chance at life!" She studies Bryn for a long moment, before looking back to see what more Lady Elaydren has to say to them.
Bryn glances to Rylia thinking about what she said to Skyrym, that she saw a Goblin in a blue dark cloak... when Elaydren start to talk again
"Well, Brother Coltinar, I need to trust you as well, I guess." Elaydren looks at Coltinar and sighs. "I belong to the House Cannith family in Aundair. However, in this case, I´m helping my cousin, Baron Merrix d'Cannith of Sharn, for a personal matter... shall we say. The heirloom we are looking for belonged to his ancestors, it is part of his family history.
I imagine you know that House Cannith’s leadership has been disjointed since the destruction of Cyre."Elaydren stands and serves a glass of wine to herself and continues."I´m part of House Cannith in Audair and I am here in Sharn to further the efforts of Baron Jorlanna d’Cannith of Aundair. But I am loyal to the leader of my portion of the family, which operates out of Aundair and I have nothing against the Sharn-based family. I owe a debt of honour to my cousin Merrix d´Cannith and I need to help him, but he wants to keep this in secret and cannot seek the help of the local house neither I can ask for help from the Canniths in Aundair.
Now she looks back to where Paladin and R4G3 are, “The relic we seek is an adamantine plate in the shape of a seven-pointed star about the size of your hand; It has no special power by itself but is an ancient schema — a piece of a pattern used by the Cannith artificers of old to craft unusual items." Elaydren explains answering Paladin.
"You know our House has thousands of years of great and historic achievement. We helped build the history of Eberron. We built you, the Warforged, for war; and was a great honor for the Canniths to see that, after the war, you were able to build your own lives. Personally, I am very proud of what you have become, although I know it may not that easy. Our society can be a little mean and arrogant at times, but anyway…
Some warforged have been enlisted to turn against our society. They obey a Lord of the Blades who presents himself as a new prophet who will represent the worforges and it was one of his servants who murdered Bonel to steal the journal." Elaydren is silent for a few seconds to recover his cracked voice.
"The assassin you bravely shut down last night confessed before self-destructing. I don't know if this scheme has any value beyond sentimental to our family, but certainly, this warforged prophet wants the scheme for his own dark purposes, which now is an additional reason why we must to take it as soon as possible."
"I offer to your group 1200gp plus 100gp for expenses if you help us to recover this piece of Cannith´s history, and bring our relic back."Elaydren says looking around, at each of you. I know that this can bring some dangerous so, we will give you some privacy to discuss it. We´ll be back in 1o minutes. Then, she and skyrym left the room.
Bryn doesn't wait. A moment after Lady Elaydren finishes he says (perhaps a bit too enthusiastically), "I'm in!" He looks at Rylia, takes a breath, and then amends, "If Rylia wants to go, that is..."
Paladin nods. "Her explanation is sound, and holds the ring of truth. I think it lacks information regarding the assassin, and the motives of evil intent, but who could judge a person for not knowing such things? We must simply keep our eyes and ears open to learn the enemy's causes. I think this sounds like just the thing! However... I am already sworn to helping R4G3 get his papers."
Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
Brother Coltinar talks with the others after the two leave, "I sense that we are all in agreement to assist the Lady Elaydren with this task. I agree Arr..Let's see what she can do."
Brother Coltinar whispers to Braxiel, "It's up to you, but you may want to give her the book. I think it the professor was taking it to her. You've been silent for a bit. It is a tough decision."
Brother Coltinar replies upon their return, "I think we are in Lady Elaydren. Arr needs citizen paperwork before we begin though. We have processed some paperwork through my temple of Light, but bureaucracy sometimes slows things down too much. If you could assist in this matter, it would be appreciated. While you may be limited in what you can do directly would we need paperwork from the seal of Canith to allow us to complete the task? Should we need credentials or to legitimize our movements."
Braxiel will nod to both Rylia and Brother Coltinar.
When the Lady returns, Braxiel will stand his full 6'7" height and with a firm and determined face, says, " Lady Elaydren, I indeed have your book they were looking for when killing the Provost and I am glad to give it to you but I am most interested to know the contents of this book. May you please unlock it for me? I believe it will help on the mission for the star. If you do not wish to do that, then I request that you get me in touch with your top mage so that I may be best equipped for the dangerous road of us and I can protect these individuals with me."
Rylia listens carefully to Lady Elaydren's explanation. And she tries hard to commit the various Barons and members of her House of Cannith as well. As she hears Bryn eagerly agree to help, she glances his way, catching his look. She gives him a smile and a quick affirmative nod. She then turns to their new employer, saying, "I agree to help as well. Sounds like we all do."
She then continues. "We will need to know where it is that we need to go of course. And we'd welcome any advice on fending off this Lord of the Blades."
Before leaving, Elaydren hears Bryn respond enthusiastically and smiles at him as she reaches the door. Exactly ten minutes later, she and Skyrym are back. "I can certainly help Mr. R4G3. I have a contact who owes me favors at Casa Sivis and can help me with that." Elaydren answers to Coltinar. "As I explained to you, this cannot be an official House Cannith quest, so I can't provide you with any paperwork or put you in touch with any of our official members, which includes our wizards. Assuming you accept the proposal, you will receive 100gp for expenses and 200gp for advance payment. I believe this is enough to acquire what is necessary to minimize any danger that may exist. I can also schedule a visit to our operational Forge, where you can make some tweaks and upgrades to armor, weapons, and the like. But, nothing more. I cannot expose myself."
"And about it, my dear Mr. Braxiel," says Elaydren, pointing to the Journal, "it is not a book, it is a Journal. A Journal of our family. It will certainly help us to find the direction of this forgotten forge, but please remember that all contents on that are private. It is not supposed to be common knowledge unless Baron Merrix deems it so. May I?" She holds her hand out to Braxiel expecting receive the journal
Braxiel will nod knowing that he overstepped his boundary. He will hand the journal over Elaydren, "The Forge will be a great resource for a successful mission, thank you for your kindness."
"R4G3 are ready to work for you," Arr nods at the lady after she tells that she is able to help with their papers. "We will bring your heirloom back to your family. But where do we find it? And what is it that you think we should be preparing for with so much gold?"

Once Elaydren returns, Rylia reconfirms her acceptance of the other. "I'll do what I can, I certainly accept your offer." She holds any more questions, as it seems R4G3 has already asked the most pertinent ones.
Seeing that all of you have accepted her proposal, Elaydren nods her head. "Thanks to all! Bonel would be happy if he had had the opportunity to work with you, I´m pretty sure. We will honor his work and all the research that brings us here!" Then, she receives the Journal from Braxiel and holds it in both hands looking at it for a few seconds. Her signet ring and the mithral threads on the cover glow in unison as she holds the small book. She sits down, opens it slowly, and as she flips through the pages, those nearby notice that the blank pages immediately begin to fill with delicate handwriting and drawings. She turns to a specific page, studies it for a moment, and glances at Skyrym: "It's here! Bonel was right! He made it! Could you help here?" Skyrum walks over and pulls a folded map from inside his cloak and spreads it out on the table. "The location of the lost foundry is deep within the Dorasharn Tower,”He proclaims looking at her. "It's... fifty-seven levels below the tower's current sewer system. This is beyond the lower inhabited areas of Sharn, in the ruins of the ancient city." "This map shows the way to reach the Dorasharn Tower Sewers," Skyrym says. "Somewhere beyond the E-213 Valve Cluster, you should find a sealed door," Elaydren completes. "You'll need to open it and keep going through a tunnel beyond that will lead you to the long-forgotten level far below where the foundry resides. Elaydren Says, closing the journal. She turns to R4G3; "We know that the Lord of the Blades was looking for this Journal. Maybe they know something about the scheme, maybe not. I don't know. Beyond that, who knows what lurks in the hidden places below the city? Now that I think about it, Bonal said something about the need to set fire to the expedition. I wonder what he meant... Probably some torches... Yeah, that makes sense. In any case, I urge caution, but I am completely confident that you can handle anything.
Bryn nods as Skyrym describes the tunnels and sewers beneath the tower. He had spent some time in other tunnels beneath the city, so what the man said made sense. In his mind he started listing items the party would likely need for this quest - light sources, healing potions, extra rations and water, perhaps even rope and climbing gear. Most things could be found at various markets - some items might require a bit more creativity to find.
He stands and walks over next to Skyrym. "May I look over your shoulder at the map?"he asks. If allowed, Bryn will commit the map and route to memory. The events of last night impressed upon him the need to limit the amount of information that could be taken from them.
After that, he offers some suggestions to the group on items to procure. "We should get some torches, or perhaps a couple of [Tooltip Not Found]s, to provide light. I recommend a few healing potions - perhaps a vial or two of alchemist's fire. And some of the old areas beneath the city have deep caverns or holes, so climbing rope and gear are good additions. At least the temperatures should be fairly constant underground!"
