The Guild - Game Thread

Val nods in excitment and jumps off Elsara's hand and heads towards the tied orcs. He stands above his two rear legs, and points himself, then run a couple of times around the orcs and then in the opposite direction of the party. Then he goes towards the stairs and waits for the rest of them, hoping that they had understood him. 

Hmmf, we follow the mouse now? Runt exclaims questioningly 

“I guess so.” Gendan proceeds to follow Val to the stairs. 

Runt will as well. 

Once they are near the orcs Val will try to catch their attention and make them pursue him the other way the party will approach them to help them in sneaking behind them. If needed he will turn into his white wolf form and attack, but only if needed.

Once the group has followed Val's route, she offers a pouch on her belt for the mouse to slip into so he can be around during the fight, and a surprise druid if required.

(Rolled stealth earlier if needed.)

Alright then. Val, the orcs don't really mind the mouse beause there are many mice on the ship. Everyone else, roll for stealth. Elsara rolled earlier so she doesn't have to.

( worth a try ;)  Valmouse will stand behind the orcs then, ready to turn into wolf and jump by to surprise to one of them when the others attack or if they discover them ) 

Devarus had simply nodded along -- still bemused by the earlier interactions, but complaint and ready to cap an Orc with Scattershot. 

Devarus' Stealth: 13. 

Elsara makes sure to have a blade in hand, ready for an oncoming fight should they end up in one.

Runt's stealth 7

Runt doesn't do stealth apparently. 

(Note to self: we should get Val to cast Pass Without Trace before becoming an adorable mouse next time to allow for more snooping powers.)

Alright so the party sneaks off below and then Runt takes a misstep and falls down the stairs. The two orcs take one look at the party size and attempt to jump out of nearby windows. Anyone want to try anything real quick?

Gendan stealth 14

(How far are we from them? If 30’ or less, Gendan will Misty Step to the farther one and attempt to grapple. Athletics: 24)

(Not sure if we're working in initiative rounds or not)

Elsara can use her last 2nd level spell slot to do the same as Gendan, teleporting to the other and barring its passage.

(Hopefully the dice are with me)

Runt throws a javalin from frustration 

Attack: 9 Damage: 5

Val jumps and turns into his wolf form  trying to take down one of the orcs with his weight. 

( Attack: 10 Damage: 8 

another attack in case he has advantage for the surprise: 16 

The orc has to do a STR ST 13 or be prone ) 

Whereas Devarus had been ready to shoot, seeing Gendan and Elsara port ahead, he throws crackerjack in hopes of knocking the non-grappled one unconscious.

Quick-Draw Crackerjack(non-lethal) - To Hit: Attack: 18 For: 6 non-magical bludgeoning damage. 

(If at advantage: 26)

(Don't think I'd add the +2 Archery bonus to the hit for thrown weapons, so... I didn't.)
