Edward leaves the closet and tries to head towards the sound; if he gets to the door where it's coming from first, he'll slowly and quietly attempt to open it.
Ed slowly opens the door revealing a horrifying scene. Its de Mendoza feasting on Trinidad Rizo. He turns when he sees the light from the flashlight ready to kill.

Lola squeals and jumps back. She pulls out the elixir of boldness from another pocket and chugs it back, gasping with the fire of the alcohol going down. (She rolls a d4 and adds it to attack/saves for a minute. Rolled a 4 in character sheet)
James' dark eyes goes briefly wide as he sees the Mendoza-creature hunched over the missing student. He had seen his fair share of horror and even things he could not explain while in the trenches in france, but this sight gives the british gentleman brief pause before his instincts take over, his eyes searching out something with which he could kill this abomination.
Eye for detail bonus action perception: 11
(Maybe he can even see and get hold of one of the many weapons Ed is carrying ;-) More to come when bonus action is resolved)
(( @Oberon99 - Ed's revolver is openly strapped to his side, with a simple snap keeping it in place. However, his blades are all concealed on him. Have James do with that info what he will. ;) ))
"What IS this thing?!!" yelled Edward angrily as he struggled against the monster, startled for the first time that he could remember in years.
Unable to immediately break free from the creature's grip, the desperate young man did the only thing he could think of and twisted his wrist to aim the flashlight into it's eyes.
(( Hopefully that'll do *something*, either giving an advantage to someone or a disadvantage of some sort to de Mendoza. If not, Ed will have to wait until next turn to get his wits about him and strategize. ))
Noticing the revolver at Ed's side, James reaches down to snatch it, sticks the barrel into the toothy jaw of the Mendoza-abomination and fires, all in one swift motion.
Revolver with advantage due to the Mendoza-abomination being distracted by the flashlight: 15 Piercing damage: 11 + 3

Round 2
de Mendoza lets out a cry of pain as there is a bullet wound in his mouth, but everyone sees his flesh knits back together almost erasing all the damage from the bullet.
Without thinking, Edward used his hidden ability to try to deflect the monster's bite.
REACTION: Using Protective Field (his is invisible) to expend a Psionic Energy Die and reduce the damage by 4
It was then, after he realized that he had used his ability in front of others that he shook his head and gathered his wits about him. Praying no one noticed the odd movement in the middle of the chaos, he clenched his teeth, redoubled his efforts to free himself, then stepped back to produced a dagger from his person, and thrust it towards de Mendoza.
ACTION: Acrobatics check to break free - 10 SURGE: Using Action Surge to draw his blade and attack de Mendoza * Dagger Stab - Attack: 21, Damage: 7 mundane piercing (add an extra 3 on a crit) BONUS: Use Second Wind to recover 10 HP (if allowed, flavoring it so that if he's back at full health, his initial telekinetic block stopped the attack)
The sound is coming from one of the 3 doors on the left. The first door tested by Lola is locked.
Edward leaves the closet and tries to head towards the sound; if he gets to the door where it's coming from first, he'll slowly and quietly attempt to open it.
