The hobgoblin leader's battlefield awareness is excellent, as he notices Kitryn wield and fire the crossbow. The hobgoblin hunches down, causing the bolt to sail over the himself and the wolf.
Wolf 4, lagging a bit behind, moves up and takes its place in the Hobgoblin formation. King Grol also moves up, laughing in glee as he inserts himself into the open position in the back rank.
(Qualitus, ie: the human prisoner, is rolling his dice in Roll20. That's where those numbers are coming from. I will explain how to do it in forum via email. In the meantime, those numbers are legit rolled.)
The human prisoner follows directly behind King Grol's heels, leaps off the nearby tree to try and drop kick King Grol. The first kick is not very effective, beyond putting King Grol off balance, which allows the following two kicks to cause actual damage. The kicks are devastating and King Grol doesn't look like he can take another round of those.
Hobgoblin 1 turns around to face the prisoner, sneering at the audacity and attacks with longsword...
Longsword Attack: 5 Damage: 16
... but the agile human leans backwards to clear the blade's trajectory.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Katerielle will use Thorn Whip to attack King Grol 12 hopefully for 5 damage and pull him 10 feet closer to the fight at the front, leaving the tied prisoner to kick whomever he likes.
The vine from Katerielle's Thorn Whip doesn't make it to King Grol as it tries to push through the front rank of hobgoblins and wovles. They deflect it away thinking it was meant for them.
Elila swings and slashes wolf 3, who barely survives. It looks mortally wounded.
Lowering his journal and holding his quill with his teeth, Rindelk summons a flaming sphere and bashes it against the nearest Hobgoblin, who manages to dodge the worst of the flames, but is still smoldering from proximity to the heat.
The hobgoblin leader, bolstered by adjacent allies, makes a massive winding swing against Elila...
Longsword Attack: 6 Damage: 10
Hobgoblin 2 swings around the wolf and also focuses on Elila...
Longsword Attack: 6 Damage: 15
Wolf 3 also focuses on the same target as his pack...
Bite Attack: 19 Damage: 6
Elila DC 11 STR saving throw: 6
... Elila deftly dodges most of the the attacks, but the wolf trips sinks it's jaws in her calf and she falls prone to the ground as it yanks and thrashes.
((I'm having internet difficulty, kit is already beat up from the fight before and I don't remember using any hit die to heal up. She will want to stay back and use her xbow, then move back into cover like the castle and bonus action hide))
The human cries out in a strangely accented common, "Keep one alive please. Let me know if you need help."
Leek yells: "The human is holding back on purpose. It's a ruse! He's one of them. Kill him first!!!!"
(Just kidding! Hey Dan!)
The monk seems unperturbed by the situation and speaks in broken common requesting one of the goblinoids be kept alive.
(Kitryn's turn)
Kitryn pulls out her crossbow and takes a shot at the hobgoblin leader who is engaged with Kat.
Attack for 14 with a bolt doing 3 dmg.

(Leek and Human Prisoner's turns).
Leek will sling a rock directly in King Grol's mouth to knock the smirk from his face.
Attack: 24 Damage: 6
King Grol's battlefield awareness is not as good, as Leek breaks a couple of King Grol's teeth with a well aimed stone.
Qualitus, assumed not a threat because of his tied hands, goes up behind the Hobgoblin King and kicks him in quick succession three times.
First attack: 14
Flurry of Blows (burning one Ki point) Second Attack: 18 and Third Attack: 21
For 3, 6 and 5 damage respectively.
He says "My Master Wong used to say “A lion chased me up a tree, and I greatly enjoyed the view from the top.” I think that applies here."
