While looking for Cal to propose that he learn Delvindra's katas, Duwamilly hears Godrick singing and playing...
"How good of you, Godrick, honey!" the ex-Preceptor compliments him for the attempt to bring joy and relaxation "Way to go!" (if Godrick becomes invisible when he sings, she speaks in the general direction from which his voice comes).
When she finally gets to see Cal, the gnome cleric tries to get his attention, waving at him and calling: "Cal, honey! Come a minute! Delvindra knows something that maybe can help you... might as well try, right? What better things do we have to do for now?"
"Yes, it seems the most reasonable solution" Duwamilly agrees, more interested in watching katas and thus learning domething new, than in sleeping arrangements.
Delvindra takes a minute or so to stow her gear and then returns to Cal and Duwamilly.
She stands, feet shoulder width apart, left foot a half-step forward, right foot a half-step back, arms out parallel to the ground, hands pressed together with the heel of palms at her sternum and the tips of her index fingers pressed against her chin. She closes her eyes.
"This is ready position one. In this position you ready yourself by focusing on your body and emptying your mind. You reach out and connect to yourself...feeling every sensation of your physical manifestation. From here, you are reminded that pain...hunger...anger...fear...these things do not exist in your body. They only exist in your mind. Your body will endure what you mind cannot. And so, you must tame your mind."
She opens her right eye and looks at Cal.
"And by taming your mind you can resist...if not fully tame...the voices in your head."
She continues on for a while, showing several other positions...and the slow, controlled, smooth movements used to travel between them. It's like a dance, or the motions of an arcane spellcaster, but slowed to one quarter speed.
Duwamilly intently follows the 'kids' practicing katas, eager both to grasp the basics and to find out if this training can, in fact, harden Cal some against his curse.
After the session is finished, wheter useful for Cal or not, the ex-Preceptor compliments the tiefling monk: "Way to go, Delvindra, honey! You are really a kind and compassionate kid".
While returning to her place to enjoy the sea breeze once more, the gnome cleric spots Wyvern and realizes her predicament: "Oh, poor thing, is the sea troubling you?" and she tries to remember if there is something that can be done about it...
Duwamilly can remember of something that can help: "Come on, Wyvern, honey, come here, near the ship's center... Breath in this fresh breeze and focus your mind on that... the breeze... the air coming in... And the horizont, try kerping your eyes to the horizont. That should lessen your problem, dear..."
"An Ilmateri does what they can to lift the burden of others, seeking neither compensation nor praise, but as a tribute to the suffering of the Broken God"
"Well, you can rest assured, Delvindra, honey..." Duwamilly laughs "You didn't really get compensation at all (not from me at least) and you didn't seek my praise - you got it from me spontaneously! And if you enjoy doing the right things, so much the better!"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As she is shown the two fairly good-sized passenger cabins, Yasmina leaves her gear in the one she presumes will be the girl's cabin before rejoining the others on deck again. Her eyes narrow as she sees the annoying gold dragonborn having straddled the bow. Pointing out in his song that he has not a care in the world was hardly reassuring, and Yasmina was still unconvinced he had anything to do on a dangerous mission such as this, in fact it didn't make much sense he would even come along if he wasn't even bothered by his curse.
Doing her best to ignore the dragonborn, the red-haired Half-Elf instead watches as Delvindra performs her kata, smiling appreciatively at her excellent exhibition in bodily control on the slowly rocking ship. Passing by the Tiefling, Yasmina then makes a performance of her own, not quite unlike what Delvindra has just shown, a slow oriental dance with feats of both balance and agility, accompanied by slow exotic music from her homeland.

“I…” she looks up at Milly “You think so?”

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?

Hmmm... very interesting results indeed...
Day 1: If you have a passive Insight or Investigation of 13 or higher:
As you spend the day on the ship, you start to notice one sailor who seems to be unusually skittish and standoffish. Perhaps it's nothing, just your nerves getting the best of you. Or maybe this young man is just on edge because of the stories that he has heard of the Shaded Isle. Still, something about him seems subtly off, and he scurries away as soon as any of you try to speak with him.
"Thank you..." Yasmina turns and says to the Tiefling. "...but from what I saw you already have the necessary skills to dance with me. As you say your kata is not that different from my dancing, maybe we can teach each other as we pass time on our journey."She continues with a warm smile, offering to continue their shared exercises when the weather permits.
Yasmina is insightful enough to notice the suspicious behaviour from the sailor, dicreetly notifying the others in the team about her observations, then discreetly asking Captain Fox about the sailor in question, if they've been with the crew long for instance.
Persuasion: 11 Insight: 23
She would then use her cloak and boots to follow the sailor around to see if she can observe any other suspicious behaviour, also checking the sailor's sea chest when he is on duty in the rigging.
"Of course, dear!" Duwamilly assures "These are all measures that help you suffer less seasickness... Although, unfortunately, none of them are miraculous; maybe you will feel uncomfortable anyway - but at least you should start to be able to retain the contents of your stomach".
... Passing by the Tiefling, Yasmina then makes a performance of her own, not quite unlike what Delvindra has just shown, a slow oriental dance with feats of both balance and agility, accompanied by slow exotic music from her homeland.
Minor Illusion for music Performance: 21
The ex-Preceptor enjoys Yasmina's performance no less than she did Delvindra's, congratulating at the end: "Very good, kid! You dance as light as a Pixie on the Feywild flowers! A truly different dance from those that usually they are made in these parts... but certainly fascinating! The meeting of cultures always enriches..."
If you have a passive Insight or Investigation of 13 or higher:
The gnome cleric notices the sailor's unusual behavior (even before Yasmina tells her) and certainly tries to talk to him at first... When he 'scurries away', she, perplexed, tries to ask Fox if he knows that perhaps the poor fellow has had a previous misadventure on the Shaded Isle. If not even Fox can hypothesize a reason for the unusual skittishness, as a last resort she tries to befriend the guy (casting from distance, when he does not look at her) and then invite him to confide what's bothering him to his 'dear gnome friend'... [[ OOC: DC 13 Wisdom Saving Throw if it comes to that... And in case of failure the other should not notice the attempt - presumably he will just continue to 'scurry away' ]]
"Of course, dear!" Duwamilly assures "These are all measures that help you suffer less seasickness... Although, unfortunately, none of them are miraculous; maybe you will feel uncomfortable anyway - but at least you should start to be able to retain the contents of your stomach".
Wyvern stands up, trying to keep the contents of her stomach actually inside her stomach. “I guess…I guess I’ll try” with that, she takes a deep breath of sea breeze

Cal will respond after his mental training, “Duwamilly, I have tried many things but open to trying more.”
"It might not help but, like Duwamilly said, it can't hurt...can it? At the very least, we'll need to pass the time somehow."
"Two rooms? I guess we're doing men's and women's quarters?"
“Sounds good with me.”
