Kitaer pulls out a torch to light off of Daryos'. At the same time he is looking around to find someplace he could stick the torch to illuminate the room without having to hold it himself... He's starting to agree that they are not alone down here but it seems like there could be some valuable they could use. He's not looking to exit just yet...
Kitaer sees that the pillar nearby (the square between the third row of massive barrels) has a dusty cobweb covered lantern dangling from an iron ring.
As for a place to put the torch, aside from simply laying it on the stone floor, there doesn't appear to be any kind of holder you can spot.
"Be careful with where you step," Vesna adds, pointing with a trembling finger at the finer threads and webs around them. It is clear to her that there is a difference between them and the other, bigger ones. "Don't step there... and there... or here..."

Daryos leans forward and closely examines the webbing, the size of the tunnels, and sack-like caccons. After a moments, he determines that there is likely more than one spider and that they are probably pretty large... about the size of a man. (medium size)
"I'm by no means an expert but I believe the spiders who spun these webs might be quite large. I think we might need to deal with them in order to reach that door though which I wouldn't be surprised if it was opened by the silver key we found." The young white-haired noble says, looking around at the team members. "We will likely get the spiders to come to us if we disturb the nets, maybe even set fire to them, and if we position ourselves tactically correct we could have a great advantage with our ranged fire."He continues, backing up a bit to see if the barrells could be moved to form a barricade even.
Stasyn would light his hooded lantern and hooks it onto his belt as he was not gifted with darkvision. As the others separate, he hangs back a bit. Its better if they go first in the event of something dangerous is down here. No need to put myself in danger. As more and more webs are revealed Stasyn began having a sinking feeling, but he does cotinue to follow the others. "So giant spiders. I too am curious about the door. I can easily light the webs on fire if everyone is willing to dispatch the spider."
He takes out his wand and a blue flame flicker at the tip of the wand.
Once ready and barring an objections Stasyn will light the webs on fire while at the back of the party.
Nesyax tells the others, "Looks like alchemy supplies spread across these tables. That rat might have been licking something from them. Hope that's not bad." She steps over closer to where Daryos is standing to make sure she's not out of the torch light.
You take a hard look now that more of the room is revealed. You see the webs coating the stone floor and stone walls. they also reach up and hang from the wooden beams supporting the wooden ceiling above your head... and the wooden barrels containing of some kind of dwarven beverage. (You cannot tell what it says unless you read dwarven.)
"Well we can burn the webs now and thus draw the spiders out to fight them now," Kitaer says, "Or we could back out and tackle this place some other time. Chances are the spiders are safeguarding whatever is here from the random looters, I doubt we'll loose anything by coming back later."
With that being said, the minotaur also carefully picks out a spot of floor on which to set his torch where it won't accidentally ignight any webs or anything else on fire and he pulls his axe and prepares for violence... Just in case.
At the mention of the alchemy supplies by Nesyax, Vesna's curiosity is piqued and she carefully makes her way to the tables. The cleric tries to see if there is anything salvageable that she can collect for later testing and investigation.

OOC: Are you trying to see if there are enough alchemy supplies to make an alchemy kit for later use? Or are you trying collect some of the alchemy supplies to try to figure out what was being made in them at a later date?
Vesna already has alchemist supplies with her, so she'd try to collect anything that would help her figure out what was being made in here before.
After that, the cleric will return back to the rest of the party. Seeing that they lean towards trying to lure out whatever hides in the back of the room, Vesna sighs (she really doesn't feel adventurous enough to want to see what monstrosity might lurk in the darkness), but seeing that she'd rather stay with the group than go out alone, she seems to accept her fate. Quietly saying a spell, she reaches forward, casting Eyes of Night on Kitaer, Daryos and Stasyn, so they all have darkvision to a range of 300 feet for the next hour.
Looking through the different vials, tubes, beakers spread out across the dusty tables, Vesna to find one test tube that has a small amount of a mostly dried dark liquid inside. The test tube is stopped with a brittle cork that you are pretty sure is no longer working properly and is allowing air inside, and causing the liquid to dry up.
As the party decides what to do next, the relative silence in the dark basement is broken by the loud and rapid squeaking of a rat. The squeaking lasts for just a second before a sickening crunch..... followed by complete silence. Even the faint scratching and rustling has stopped. You are all left standing surrounded by a sea of darkness and spiderwebs while standing in a small island of torchlight. The dancing flames cause shadows to move and shift... Playing tricks with your eyes and making it hard to detect movement through the already heavily obscured web-covered section of the basement.
As Vesna grants darkvision to Kitaer, Daryos and Stasyn, they are able to see a bit more clearly into the darkness. Sections of the stifling darkness are illuminated in black and white... making it possible to make out shapes that had been previously hidden. This monochrome vision however doesn't help much in looking through the mess of webs that heavily obscure much of what lies in front of you.
“Well Decisioneer? We cleaning this place out now or eyeballing other pickings first?” Kitaer asks curiously. He’s fine with either decision but would rather not stand around waiting for something else to make the choice….
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Let's do some cleaning!" The young white-haired noble says with a confident smile, giving Vesna a thumbs up for providing the team with better vision, and as the others find their positions he throws his torch with full force down the room and into the webs, then readying his crossbow to fire at the first spider that comes into sight.

(OOC Stasyn does indeed knows Dwarvish. What does it say on the barrel?)
Stasyn looks at the dwarven text and realizes that they say the folllowing...
Dragons Fire - Dwarven Spirits in the 3rd barrel on the left.
Jolly Dwarf (JD) - Dwarven Spirits in the 3rd barrel on the right.
Anyone that makes a dc10 history check after knowing the names of the drinks knows that they are both very strong drinks and probably very flammable
