(Sturm slices into the Bugbear with a deep cut, he's badly hurt!
Quorthon grabs his Longsword with both hands for maximum damage, swings big and cleaves the Bugbears head deep! The Bugbear falls over dead. In the confusion, Quorthon manages to sneak out a bandage and help Sklin'oth, who is back to consciousness.
(The lone remaining Goblin's eyes get huge as he realizes the Fireball hurling towards him is the last thing he'll ever see. He barely has time to let out a little scream before he is burnt to a crisp, dead.
As you all compose yourselves, you realize that you are all very, very lucky to be alive and very badly hurt. The bodies of your enemies are scattered in front of you. In the corner, still in her cage, you see Bess looking at you all, very scared at first, but starting to calm down as she seems to realize what has happened. In the room, you all see the makeshift altar as well as a large, familiar looking statue of a knight with a sword in front of him, pointing down. There doesn't appear to be much else in the room.)
(Quorthon hurriedly searches the bodies but doesn't find anything other than the standard weapons and armor the Bugbear, Shaman and Goblin were carrying.
Sturm looks thru the bodies as well, but doesn't find anything more. He looks around the room and sees the same things as before: The makeshift altar, the dead bodies, the statue of the knight and the cage Bess is in.
Sklin'oth casts Detect Magic on the cage. Nothing is going on with the cage, but...
Along the wall behind Bess' cage you all see a light blue aura around a section of the stones, almost in the shape of a doorway. The magic appears to be from the Abjuration School of Magic.)
Info on Abjuration Magic:
Abjuration spells are protective in nature, though some of them have aggressive uses. They create magical barriers, negate harmful effects, harm trespassers, or banish creatures to other planes of existence.
Sklin'oth searches the bodies and quickly manages to find the keys on the Bugbear.)
As he frees the girl from her cage, with his head burning in a blue hue, he warns his companions about the hidden door.
"We should take Bess back into town, but the trap in the bridge may be a risk, shall we try finding if that is an alternative exit before or just go stright out?"
"Are you alright girl? Did they hurt you in any way? Don't mind him, he just looks weird. Like me. "
He starts playing his lute as he rests (I could use a short rest if possible).
"I have no idea how to get past this door. If its a trap, it could be just as dangerous as the bridge. Maybe the girl has seen them using it?" He looks at her to see if she understands what he means.
(Bess shakes her head to indicate she's not hurt. As they let her out, she runs and hugs Quorthon tight for a long while, holding back tears.)
"Thank you, Dragon man!"
(As Quorthon settles her down, the party settles down to take a short rest. Bess is able to tell you all that she doesn't know anything about the bridge other than the Goblins all had to cross it one at a time.)
DMs note: For simplicity sake, everyone is back to full HP but you only recover Half of your Spell Slots.
"What about this doorway here? Have you seen them trying to leave this way?" He asks her when he's finished his song. He feels amazingly better. It's then he's learned of the power of a child's hug.
Feeling emboldened by their victory, he decides to try the door. "Step back everyone! This might be trapped." Then a thought occurs to him. He stands aside and recites the chant from memory:
"I pledge to serve law, protect the innocent, battle the agents of chaos, and never reveal the secrets of the Delian Order. My word is my bond, my life and honor is for the order, for this night and all nights to come."
DM note: I am kind of assuming she doesn't know anything, but if she does have some kind of important information about this door, I'll follow her lead.
(Bess does not seem to know anything about the door. She shakes her head when asked about anyone using it.
Quorthon recites the Delian Oath that was on the wall of the main Offering Room. From behind you all, the statue that you all ignored previously starts to emit a rumbling sound. A blue light seems to be coming out of the eyes of the knight, scanning the room. When the light scans Sturm, he seems to be 'marked' with a very subtle light surrounding him. The door opens slowly, shaking off decades worth of dust. A voice booms from inside the room that has just appeared.)
"ENTER, HOLY WARRIOR. YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR. WHY DO YOU DISTURB THE TOMB OF SEXTUS VARIUS?"
I'll create bonefire within an area I can see within the room (darkvision) so that we can all get better view, if there seems to be any other path, I enter, else I say "We should go back, little bess shall be exausted and missing her dad."

Quorthon immediately goes to check the cage to see if I can let outthe girl. "You're okay now, we've come to help. Your father sent us."
(If I cannot just open the cage, I will search the body of the bugbear, shaman and finally goblin for the keys)
