Ashley and Crispy spent the time talking about more personal things while waiting for the boys back at the Inn. An outsider looking in would see them laughing, or giggling - with moments of seriousness and sometimes arm waving from a story Cora would tell.
Hatt hands over 46 platinum and 5 gold, and heads off into the changing cubicle which of course every blacksmith's shop has. Exactly six minutes later, he comes out wearing his new breastplate and hands over his old scale mail to the dwarf. Hi there, Karra. Time for what? Errr, maybe outside; and (once Bennett and Gasp are done shopping) he exits the shop with the others, waving back at the dwarf and young elf.
What do you think of my new armour; it's so quiet! Bennett got some too, though thank the Goddess they don't match, that would be so odd to see the pair of us walking down the street in matching armour, unless the whole group had the same and it was like our company uniform or something, which would be fine in a sense and certainly very distinctive. He keeps on babbling like this all the way back to the inn, and as they meet up with Crispy and Ashley he suddenly remembers his question: Time for what?
Bennett still looks around the shop as Hatt tries on the breastplate he bought, taking a note of how it would fit on a normal sized human. He will hand over 46 platinum and 5 gold as well as the leather armor. "Keep it. Fix it up and resell if you'd like. I don't need it anymore." He will put on his new breastplate and head outside. He will say to Karra, "Ah, nice of you to join us! Look's like its a men's day out! Who needs a new sword or weapon?"
Karra frowns at the group. It doesn't seem like a disappointed or annoyed frown, more that it is more natural on his face. "Hmm, time to go pay Opsola, maybe Ominak, a visit, yes? Make him answer questions. Have something he wants, hmm."
Ashley orders a fresh cup of tea and sips it like a proper lady. Manners and proper decorum were part of her medical training as bedside manor extends to ones life. Not just the hospital.

Cora, reclining with her boots up on the table and picking food out of her teeth with a toothpick, suddenly catches Ashley's glance and startles into a more proper position befitting a lady. She orders another ale, and has a drink with her.
I guess the guys arrive back at the inn just as Ashley and Crispy are finishing their drinks, and we sit together to talk before heading out.
So, before we go and pay Opsowotsit a visit, what are we actually going there for? I mean, I have a lot of questions I would like to ask him, but I'm sure he won't answer any of them, and then what? What do we really have to complain about? We suspect him, but we don't have much evidence. We know he didn't tell us his real name, but so what? Rich people are weird and selfish and... he blushes and stops. Technically, from the amount of money we earned on that mission, we're all 'rich people'; richer than most folks I've ever met. I wish I felt better about that, he thinks. I wish I didn't feel like I'd been played for a fool.
Crispy stares at Hatt with an amused look on her face as he stumbles with that last thought. "Personally, I don't care about Almanac. We did our job, and got paid. The rest are details that don't concern me. If you all want to investigate further, then you have my blade, I suppose, but i'm not very motivated to seek answers about the dragonborn."
"I'm not sure why you guys care. We've made more money on this one quest than I have ever since I was fired." She says to the boys. "Frankly, I can think of other things i'd rather do, now." Crispy says, then looks at Ashley with a twinkle in her eye, and a soft, loving smile.
Bennett says, "Sexual intercourse won't earn you two any more money or do any good for the world. I'm curious to figure more about Opsola as well. He is an interesting character."
"I understand you found your soulmate, but you still have to earn money. Don't you want your name to be remembered, Crispy? Don't you want people to recognize you in the streets or when you return from slaying some sort of evil force they start to chant your name? Stomping out evil and it's roots is the reason I joined the military and the special forces. I'm glad to have your blades by our side, trust me, I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end. What if this dragonborn is a part of something evil and we have a chance to stop it."Bennett says with an "inspiring" tone of voice to calm Crispy down.
Crispy stares at you giving you an obvious smelly stinkeye. Considering you’re still breathing, you discern that you, quite possibly, said the right thing, and she sinks normally back into her seat. Still staring at you, you can tell she is considering your words, as if not sure youre being sarcastic or not. She visibly untightens, and after a while, finally says:
Gasp is sad enough at this point that he's not even walking. He's just floating his way back to the tavern until he finds a seat there. The black feathered Kenku just slumps into a seat in time to watch Bennett get a whole bunch of tea to the face.

I go where Crispy goes. Ashley says matter of factually.

"What the Hell is that suppose to mean?" Crispy slowly turns to Bennett, bristling. "Are you implying something?"

Ashley does a spite take with her tea when Bennett makes his first comment. Bennett may be covered in tea now.

Crispy, not expecting Ashley to do that, says to Bennett, unimpressed, “Wow, you sure know how to charm the ladies..”
Bennett takes the time to wipe the tea off of himself, "I've spent my fair share of time with the ladies. I was engaged once, ya know."

Cora rolls her eyes, not caring. “Mhmm. Sure.” She glances over at Bird Person. “Gasp? What is it? Squak to me.”
