Hatt continues to walk forward and into Lord Niyra's booth. Hullo again! he says brightly, Enjoying the show? If there is a chair, he will sit down without waiting to be asked.
(Waiting on Crispy's move. And Ashley do you want to talk to the other people still up or the members of the church?)
@ Arena
The fight continues as the paladin finds herself flanked by the cleric's ethereal weapon behind her. She continues to fight the cleric but can't seem to get through the cleric's defenses. The cleric places a hand on his wounds as they mend themselves, while his ethereal weapon attacks the paladin once more but is rebutted by the paladin's thick armor.
@ Hatt
Niyra gives a sigh as you seat yourself, "I suppose one of the brothers had let you in. And it has been very fast show, that first match didn't last long nor did that bard do well. Now then, did you need anything else?" Most of his attention is still on the match, he seems to be observing the fighters' actions and fighting techniques.
(You still have the two monks standing guard at the third floor stairs.)
"She a nice young lass, devout as well for being of royal blood. I admit to having some mixed feelings about her going on her pilgrimage so early but the father did say he was convinced by her conviction."
Are you a fighter, Lord Niyra? asks Hatt. Do you participate sometimes in the bouts? I admit my friends and I were considering joining the amateur events tomorrow.
The paladin is still being assaulted as she roars out, shrugging off blows from both sides as she hefts the greatsword above her and hit through the cleric's defenses. A crack of thounder sounds out as the sword ignites with holy fervor. The cleric seems to be barely hanging on as he limps away, having the spectral weapon distract her for a moment.
@ Hatt
"No, I just have an investment in the arena, they participate in the bouts." Niyra answers, "Ah, I suppose you will be sponsored by Lord Opsola then?"
Sponsored by Opsola. Hatt runs the concept over in his mind. I'm not sure that's entirely true, nor am I sure it's entirely false. He frowns, disliking the uncertainty. For the arena, at least, we are enthusiastic and independent amateurs, though I do fancy the chances of some of my companions. Tell me of Opsola, good sir. I've had so few dealings with him myself, I suppose. I can't really get a feel for the fellow.
The sister looks about the common room, "Well, I'd best be going now. It is getting late and I should rest for tomorrow's lessons."
(Crispy is still on the second floor of the cathedral.)
@ Arena
As the cleric starts to limp away, the paladin gives chase, ignoring the spectral weapon's hit as she tries to finish off the cleric. But the cleric takes a hold of his necklace as it radiates light, angelic spirits come from out of it as they fly about the cleric. The angels dart towards the paladin as she comes closer, while the cleric makes more distance between them.
@ Hatt
Niyra shakes his head, "I do not mean to represent him, but to have the entrance and fight fees waived. Along with allowing you all to participate in the wagers, a portion of the pot always coming back to you, the winners obviously have the bigger share. Being a free fighter means to pay for entrance, fight, waiver, and wager fees. In short, if they lose a fight, they suffer a significant gold loss. If they win, they get it back along with most of the wagers. Having a sponsor will make it less of a gamble." Niyra explains.
"Now Lord Opsola...He is enigmatic. Most of the court was opposed to his election as he is the Tower's master, yet he silenced their opinions when he showed how much he knew of the current state of court. Along with his proposals actually compromising many of the lords and ladies goals while still putting the city first. Which is why most would like to be in his good graces, to influence his proposals. And that is the problem for most, while he is still the royal advisor, he dedicates most of his time to his research and turns away most lords or ladies. Even I have rarely seen him besides gatherings and meetings, I have not even spoken to him privately. Although that does not change my opinion of him, he does well, better than some past advisors." Niyra says.
Thank you. Ashley replies. If you need any more medical assistance, please don't hesitate to ask me. Ill be in town for a little while and i used to be a Doctor.

"Exactly so," Niyra nods, "He has stated that he is researching plausible causes for the sudden attack from the Thri-keen. He and his fellow mages do so by scrying, along with preparing defenses and attacks of magical means. They have not found a cause yet but have managed a way to stop the ants from camouflaging themselves in the city area. Which has halted their random attacks about the place."
IMHO: Well, you're not giving me much to work with to be honest, i'm dumb as a rock and you gotta throw out some more obvious options. I'm already lost and half paying attention because this campaign just drags, no offense - we've been at this campaign for almost a year. Throw me a bone man, this isn't fun for me anymore.
Unless someone has a suggestion, we've got unmarked doors, and a monk who's not letting me to shit, and I don't even remember if scaling the walls was an option.
Ashley sleeps well and prepares for a journey back to someplace. Her diety informing her in her sleep that her business was done here and she needs to move on back to were this all started as she is needed more there.

Lord Niyra, thank you for all your useful information.Perhaps you could help; my friends and I are planning a journey back home to Cresthall. Is there a ship leaving, perhaps tomorrow?
After hearing the answer, Hatt smiles, bows and heads back to the others. As soon as the next match is completed, he will suggest to Bennett and Gasp that they return to the inn to rest and have a chat with Crispy and Ashley.
On the way, he suggests that there's probably nothing more they can do to help in this city, and he feels they should return home to Cresthall.
Gasp looks longingly back at the arena. The glitz! The Glamour! People cheering for you...seemed nice. Of course, you had to beat the other person silly in order to survive and gain fame. The bird was torn. Regardless, though, he has a duty here with the rest of his group. They need to head back to Cresthall and, mercifully, get the heck out of the heat! It's too extreme here, temperature wise.
Bennett will finish watching the matches at the Arena, making a mental note to return someday and try his hand in it. He will make his way back to his room at the inn where he will fall fast asleep for their journey back home.
Niyra answers that a ship named Silver Trident departs for Cresthall in the morning. As one half of the party rests at the church, the other returns from the arena to sleep at the inn. The day comes easily as the heat greets the city once more. The bustle of the streets and cathedral wake the party. While the tavern serves some breakfast, the remainder of the party joins them as well.
(Sorry for forcing Crispy and Ashley to the tavern.)
Ashley makes note if the situation with the Ant people. She will have to discuss this with the party and see if they want to help.

YEs, Ashley would like to chat and casually try to steer any conversation towards Myra in an attempt to find out anything she can about her.
