After breakfast, Hatt tells the group of the ship departing for Cresthall. It is an unanimous decision to return home for now. Hatt leads the way through the docks to the Silver trident, a more decorated sea vessel than their previous ship. Although it takes longer than the other one, it guarantees safe passage. The total cost for the party is 100 gold. A mere paltry sum as Karra provides the payment in the form of a gem. The party is given 3 cabins, one for each pair. And as noon approaches the ship departs. The other passengers are either merchants or adventurers, looking for a pleasant ride through the seas. The crew is very accommodating for the everyone's needs, as it seems word has passed that the halfling was seen in the company of Lord Niyra. Overall it is a very pleasant cruise.
~Three weeks later~
But it cannot last forever, as the ship approaches it destination. For some it's a welcome sight, for others its merely an opportunity, but for the party, this was where it began. The city of Cresthall is still the same bustling harbor hub of commerce and trade for the southern counties. And it is a welcome change of weather as a nice breeze blows through, while the clouds lazily drift along. A nice cool day compared to the sweltering heat of the desert. As the ship docks, you see the familiar uniforms of the guards greet vessel in for their check. And after a moment, you all leave the ship along with the other passengers. The party is back in Cresthall.
Crispy sighed as she got off the boat. It seems like almost a year that she'd been away, but so many things have happened since then - like marriage to a gorgeous woman. She stopped for a moment and closed her eyes, relieved to be back home, and happy to be on land again. She gave Ashley a smile and a wink, and gathered her things, ready to move on.
Ashley gets off the boat with a bit of a wobble. This boat trip wasnt as bad as the last one and she didnt vomit nearly as much, but she was sure she would never find her sea legs.
Sorry I couldn't be very fun the past couple weeks. She says to the beautiful woman wearing a matching platinum band. I'll have to make it up to you. How did the rest of the team fair? I've hardly been able to leave the cabin.
“Oh I could think of a few ways you could..” Crispy said slyly. “At least I didnt get bit in half this time.” She admitted, and gave Ashley a bit kiss on the mouth. “I’m glad we’re home. Let not go on boats anymore. Ever.”
Gasp flutters gently off the deck of the ship and on to the familiar docks below. He takes a deep breath. Honestly he never expected to be so grateful to be back in Cresthall, but time makes fools of us all!
Hatt walks down from the ship to the docks and smiles. Though this is his adopted city, and he hasn't really lived here long, it's where his family is, and it's good to be back. He hasn't felt comfortable using his Goddess's magic merely to talk to his family, but he did just once, shortly after leaving Savaast, use Sending to let them know he was safe and on his way back. In the next few days, he will find time away from the group to visit his parents and everyone else, but for today, he's keen to find some purpose and keep the group together.
I feel like we should head back to the Sunken Coin. Where we met. Where this all started, says Hatt to the others. Remember the noticeboard with all the quests? I wonder what's there now for us to get our teeth into. Of course, that's where we met Ops.... actually, can we maybe all agree that we just never say that name again?
Anyway, that's where we met our former employer, and as much as the money we earned is welcome, it's not really what I set out to do in this life. I want to help people. Find a real chance to do some good. Maybe get a bit less involved in the weird and confusing affairs of vaguely powerful and rich people. What do you say? Maybe someone needs their mine cleared of goblins?
Ashley nods in agreement to never mention a certain dragonborn again. I hadn't been here for more than a day last time. Are there any good magic item shops, or perhaps an Apothecary to buy potions from?

Hatt tries to think of the places in the city where one might buy potions or magical items. I remember that we visited a shop before we set out on our first adventure. Where was it? 'Bags and Potions', I think?
Bennett nods to Hatt, "That sounds about right. I believe it was this way." He will make his way to the potion shop we stopped at before leaving for Savaast.
You all navigate through more familiar streets and come back to backpack street. The shop, Bags and Potions, is still in the same place. As you approach the store, another group of adventurers leave the shop, geared for what looks like a long expedition. The tiefling clerk gives you a wave as you enter, her pink hair bouncing in a pony tail.
"You all look a bit familiar, though definitely a spot darker than the last time I saw y'all. Anything I can get you folks?"
What kind of potions and salves do you offer? Ashley politely asks the shop attendant. Also, do you know were my party could get our hand on some magically enhanced equipment?

Gasp follows along. He marvels at all the different colors and textures of the various things in flasks and bottles. He can't help but poke and prod a few for good measure.
It is good to see you again, says Hatt to the clerk, smiling at the memory of their last encounter. I could certain use a few potions of healing, at the very least. But as my friend says, we are definitely in the market for some more potent magical items.
Hatt has a few items in mind, but I imagine it depends on what the shop happens to have. He browses and takes a full stock of what they are offering.
In the mean time, Gasp is really getting to know the items and tinctures that may be available. He hastily plucks up a container with an interesting texture, or a vial containing colorful or shiny liquids. The bird just marvels at them before moving on to the next.
Tibani grins, "Good to see you as well, cutie. And for the potions, well besides the health one, we got fire breathing, vitality, water breathing, and speed. Mostly just the basic ones, we can make more but that'll need some harder ingredients. And there's is a place that sells magic stuff, its just a few shops down. Its called the Grey Emporium, the owner's a bit creepy but my pa says he's good."
Gasp sees various bottles, each separated by their distinct qualities. One is red like the healing potion but pulses with a dull light regularly. Another is orange that flickers with smoke in the bottle. One smells of the ocean and is constantly filled with bubbles while another constantly swirls, even before Gasp touched it.
How much for a simple healing potion? asks Hatt. And how much for a small batch, maybe five or six?
Can you tell me if anything interesting has been happening in the city? Any trouble? Have you heard of anyone in need of help from, he smiles and gestures to the group beside him, a somewhat experienced band of brave adventurers, out to make the world a better place?
"Oh, you didn't hear when your friend here with the tattoos sorted a deal. I'll still sell it to you folks a half a dozen for 20 gold. And a potion of speed gives you a boost when you need it. Most of the time its for couriers or workers that need to do the work of two people. Although I heard some adventurers use it for a bit of edge in battle, but the bad part about it is when it wears off, they gotta take a moment to catch their breath, can't do anything, even move." Tibani explains
"And you're asking the wrong gal. I can make sure you guys are stocked for trouble but I ain't on the lookout for it. You can ask up at the Sunken Coin, besides that the city has been pretty calm, just been getting more refugees from the south."Tibani shrugs.
