After Hatt walks away, Bennett leans over to Gasp and whispers, "I'm glad the rings are working so far. Maybe once Crispy and Ashley return, we can report to our employer and get out of this city."
Gasp gladly takes a Fish on a Stick. Instead of picking it apart though, taking Hatt's comment on the bones into consideration, Gasp simply swallows down the fish hole....like a bird. Once he has performed this horrible eating habit, he looks to the ring and nods "Working so far..."
The cathedral grounds are becoming more vacant but there are lights on upstairs as well as the open portion of the third floor. Its a straight wall upwards, although the columns nearby will help.

The battle starts with both sides going straight for each other. The triton pierces through the dragonborn's armor as she also slices back at her. The triton tries to parries most of the blows but only manages to block one as she takes two strikes. Yet the dragonborn is also harmed as cuts on her arms appear, dripping red onto the sand.
This fight seems a bit more evenly matched, and Hatt sits back to enjoy it. I've never tried fighting with two weapons at once, he comments to the others as the dragonborn slashes with her two longswords. Always preferred my shield. Was it part of your training, Bennett?
The ONLY leads we have on this "Myra" is that she's a woman with black hair, and her room might be on the third floor of this church, but there's no signs on the doors, so we don't know which one is hers. That's all we got? That's ALL the information we've got in the last, what, 2 months of this campaign?

"I was trained in mostly all forms of combat. I specialize in one-handed longsword combat. I never liked using a shield, always felt like my left side was heavier and sluggish. There was a soldier in my unit who was deadly with two weapons. She was a little whirlwind spinning in circles, was a blur on the battlefield. Always fun to watch the new recruits try to spar with her." Bennett chuckles at the thought. "This is a lot more entertaining than the previous fight, at least they're evenly matched."
(No you're pretty correct. What you guys do know is that Myra is a princess but serves as a priestess for the cathedral. No one besides Jarrick really described her and only Bennett and Gasp has met her. And everyone there already said she's not there, she's on a pilgrimage as they were told. The only reason you guys are there is to find her journal that might be there. And I think this might have been missed somewhere but Father Marx is blind so signs were unnecessary and something else was used instead.)
(The other leads being an attendant to the first princess named Sarah, I did mention it before in past conversations with Bennett and Gasp. And the other being an unknown tiefling, was said to have met after Lord Niyra yet was not recorded in their records.)

The triton back off as she yells at the dragonborn, something about ash breath. She places a hand over her wounds and they start to vanish. The triton had obviously bothered the dragonborn as she just flails about with her swords, none of her attacks connecting with her foe.
"It doesn't seem that they fight to the death either. I'm sure death happens, of course, but I feel like it's rarely intentional. Hmm..."Bennett says as he takes another bite.
So, all in all, should be some good fun tomorrow, says Hatt, before refocusing his attention on the fight. So far it's all one-on-one, but there are probably group battles too. I guess. I didn't pick up a programme.
He watches the fight a little more. Then quietly, not looking at Bennett and Gasp, he asks: Aren't you scared? Of the curse, I mean. This might be with you for the rest of your lives, if we can't find the cause.

Ashley signs to Crispy. The coast is clearing, you might have to scale a wall

I have no idea which room she's in. I'll have to check all the windows. Let's take a peek outside.

As will Crispy. I'll see if I can notice any patterns of people walking, or any clues as to how to scale the wall or see if I can open the windows.

Wow what a waste of a nat20.
By the way, do we even know what Myra looks like?

(Nope, so far from Jarrick's description you know she has black hair.)
So let me get this straight.
The ONLY leads we have on this "Myra" is that she's a woman with black hair, and her room might be on the third floor of this church, but there's no signs on the doors, so we don't know which one is hers. Am I correct on this? Or did I miss something?

Crispy looks at the camera like she's on "The Office"
Ashley remembers something, Who was that tiefling that last was with Myra?

So, healing magic is not against the rules, muses Hatt out loud. Still, I would feel awkward asking the Goddess' aid for mere sport.
