At the first sign of an attack Myrla drew her bow and scanned the landscape around her. In her mind she estimates distances to clear landmarks in an effort to judge where any approaching enemy would enter the range of her bow (600ft) and where they would be a clear target (150ft).

Inge looks as if she is witnessing the possible end of the world, having never even imagined such magical phenomena before.
Yet at Wadi's words, she brightens. "Nature Walker is right, Brixie," she grins. "I mean, what's the worst that could happen? This Prana told us to witness and observe, like Myrla said. Keep our heads up, eyes open and fight. Cowering won't help, and we might need your tricks, Brixie."
As the first rock hits the magical shield, the ground quakes. Wadi and Brix stumble and fall prone. They try to stand and regain their footing, but the next rocks batter the shield repeatedly, causing a long earthquake in the area.
By the time the rocks stop, the creatures on the other side have reached the trenches and started piling over themselves in an attempt to reach the phalanxes. Some of them even manage to jump over the phalanxes and reach the encampment. Ten of them are heading to where the general and half a dozen druids have set up the ritual.
"You five!" Kashran yells toward the group. "Defend the General and the druids until she finishes the ritual!"
Comforted by the encouragement of his friends, Brix rises after the earthquake and Dusts himself off. Digging into his rock pouch he pulls 3 perfectly round polished stones.
"Let's go!"
. Brix calls out as he heads for the Druid circle.
Myrla releases an arrow between two falling stones and her shot hits true. But the enemy approaches quick and their bombardment forces her to concentrate on keeping her balance instead of letting her draw and aim. Ultimately, with these monsters drawing closer and the general issuing the command to defend, she foregoes the bow and dons her shield and draws the rapier while taking position next to Inge. 'Let them come,' she thinks as she gets ready for an onslaught of enemies, 'Hopefully, Milo's village isn't going to repeat itself here.' She worries as her friend must be dealing with a mixed bag of emotions. These were the creatures that slaughtered his entire world once already. Perhaps, if the gods will, he finds a sliver of vengeance served today, too.
"Ready, Inge? Be prepared for that smell to get a lot worse." She asks and calls out to the others. But she knows that her companion is probably more ready than she is herself, having sensed that Inge had longed to make use of that heavy blade on several occasions. 'She seems to be the type that prefers straight forward, physical solutions. Good to have her on our side.'
Action(s): Longbow attack hits 25 for 8 piercing damage. Don Shield and draw rapier. Move next to Inge

Inge grins at Myrla but does not really hear her elven friend. The blood sings in her ears, and somehow, she seems to become slightly taller than she already is, her whipcord muscles straining against her common hunter's garb. A wordless battle shout emerges from her lips. It sounds like Helstrom.
As she enters her Rage (Bonus Action), Inge brings her Polearm Mastery into play instinctively. She steps 5' northwest (10' away from closest enemy) and slashes at the foul creature. Once done, Inge retreats (not taking an opportunity attack if enemies have 5' range on melee attacks) back southeast to defend the magicians behind her. The first enemy which enters her reach of 10', she uses her reaction to make a Polearm Master opportunity attack as they enter her range. (Edited to remove Polearm Master bonus attack, as she already used her Bonus Action to Rage).
Action: Inge attacks the closest enemy (to the NW) with her Glaive from 10' away (while Raging). Glaive to hit: 12 Glaive damage (including Rage): 12 slashing
Bonus Action: (Polearm Master) Inge attacks the closest remaining enemy (to the NW) with the back end of her Glaive from 10' away (while Raging). Glaive back end to hit: 20 (dirty) Glaive back end damage (including Rage): 7 (min) bludgeoning
Possible Polearm MasterReaction if an enemy approaches within Inge's reach of 10' before her next turn. Glaive to hit: 14 Glaive damage (including Rage): 10 slashing
Movement: 5' NW to attack, then retreating back SE-->SE-->SE-->SE-->S.Unless, her first attack happens to slay the first enemy, in which case she would advance further NW-->NW-->W to attack with the back end of her weapon on the next closest enemy to the NW from 10' away, then retreat back SE-->SE.
Having not had the time to prepare any concoctions Brix is extremely limited in what he can do. He positions gimself next to the north western tent on the southeastern corner of the map.
Milowill try and hold off the southern group, positioning himself in the large gap between the south west and north west tent groups that 4 of the enemies are coming through, engaging the closest one. He swings twice at it with his rapiers.
With a deft swing, Inge decapitates one of the creatures and retreats back to gain some distance. The open space between the tents and the general is adequate enough for her to freely move her weapon and give more power to her hit. The decapitated creature stumbles and melts to the ground, leaving behind a puddle of blood and brittle bones.
As the earth settles, Myrla unleashes an arrow toward one of the creatures on the southern passage. The arrow shoots true and the creature stumbles to the ground. It stops moving and decays quickly into a pile of blood, bones, and ash.
Looking that the northern passage is well-handled by Inge, Milo stands and blocks the creatures' path through the southern passage. He pierces the head of one of the creatures with both of his rapiers. There is strength behind his attack, brought forward by the memories of these same creatures overruning his home. The body of the creature crumples beneath his attack, sending fragments of the creature's skull all over the ground.
{{From top to bottom, left to right, the creatures are LG1 to LG7. The initiative is as follows: LG3, LG2, LG7, LG4, Milo, Wadi, Inge, LG5, LG1, LG6, Brix, Myrla. Are we ready? At the end of the pre-combat round, the map will look like this. If you don't like your positioning, tell me and I'll allow you to move the token no more than 2 squares from where I've put it. I'll leave this here for a day or two before I post the creatures' turn just in case you want to move your positioning.}}
Mylra glances back to the druids, making sure they are still there doing their ritual unmolested, 'But where should they've gone, anyway? No, they will stay, I'm sure of it. I wonder if we will be able to withstand the storm,'she thinks and turns her full attention to the approaching monsters.
(Myrla is good where she is - I hope.)

{{One square is 5 ft. Forgot to put it there. So, let's begin, shall we?}}
Three of the creatures on the northern side of the camp dashes through the tents without any sign of stopping. Two of the creatures immediately crowd around Inge, but she manages to hold one of them a little bit away from being too close to her. One of them, the furthest north, strangely doesn't beeline toward the druids. Instead, it appears to keep travelling straight to the east.
The creature on the furthest south side of the camp disappears through the tents for a moment before reappearing 25 ft south of Wadi. It, too, appears to keep travelling straight to the east.
LG2, 3, 4, and 7 will use the Dash for their turn.
Inge's reaction pops off and damages LG4.
{{Milo, Wadi, Inge, it's your turn. As before, when you're in a block together like this, you can take your turn in any order you like.}}
Inge looks almost exultant as the strange, noisome creatures close in on her. Her wordless battle shout carries through the air like a giant's roar. She ignores the stench almost entirely, other than spitting a glob of phlegm at them in disgust.
Seeing one her foes damaged, but not felled by her opportunistic stroke as it charges forward, she instinctively "saves" the attack with the butt end of her glaive for it (a move that backfires on her, see below) and strikes the unhurt one with her main (blade) attack, a vicious cleave across its throat. Reveling too much in her success, she stumbles as she then pivots to bring the haft of the glaive to bear on the injured creature, missing badly.
She grunts in frustration. "Don't know where that bugger up there is going, skirting north around us. Can one of you shoot it?"
Action: Inge attacks the unhurt enemy (LG3?) within her reach with the blade of her glaive. Glaive to hit: 24 Glaive damage with Rage: 16 slashing
Bonus Action: Inge swings the back end of her glaive around at the already injured foe (LG4?) - Polearm Master bonus attack. Glaive haft to hit: 7 (Nat. 1: miss).
Movement: IF Inge is already 10' away from the already hurt foe (LG4) and her first blow fells the other creature in melee, then she instinctively steps back 5' so she is 15' away and the enemy has to enter her range once more on their turn, incurring another opportunity attack. Otherwise she stays put, not taking an AoO.
Wadimoves quickly up to help his friend Inge. He charges his staff with energy (BA-Shillelagh) and strikes with his charged staff at the nearest enemy. (18 to hit and 7 damage)
