Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
Wadi tries to retaliate as the creature's claw rakes his body and a sense of lethargy pervades him. His swing bounces off the creature's leathery skin, but the lethargy disappears soon after.
Myrlabecomes distracted when she sees more creatures passing through the phalanx and misses her attack on the creature before her. Meanwhile, a little bit of space allows Brix to aim better toward the incoming creature. The stone blasts a hold in the creature's torso, and its movement begins to lag a bit.
Another creature (LG19) also suddenly stops its stride toward the east and turns to attack Milo. Once again, Milo's instinct and experience with these creatures enable him to dodge away in time before the creature's claws near his person.
With no one to attack or attacking her, Inge is the first to notice when the bones on the ground starts to slowly move and join together. Before long, it starts to form the shape of a bone sphere with dozens of skeletal limbs coming out of its center. Each limb is holding all manners of weapon shape. Inge can see the form of a blade, a spear, a hammer, and even a bow being held by the skeletal creature.
At the same time, the General raises her hand high to the air and uttered an ancient word that no one appears to understand. From the palm of her hand, green spectral vines burst up and branches out to form the branches of a massive spectral tree. Motes of white light comes loose from the spectral leaves, encasing every single soldiers in the encampment. The spectral tree fades, and the eight druids surrounding the general falls to the ground in deep exhaustion.
"Well, that's a new one," the general quips as soon as she sees the skeletal creature. "We will need a few more moments to regain our power. Rage girl, clear the ghouls and deal with that thing skeleton thingy with your friends. And brace for harsh hot wind. We'll be experiencing a break in the barrier in a short moment."
{{At the end of the round. A group of 4 incoming creatures LG22-LG25 are making their way toward Inge. LG21 is making its way toward Wadi. When 10 LGs have been slain, a large skeletal creature also forms in the midpoint of where all the LGs have been slain. Also at the end of the third round, all of you, including all the soldiers in the encampment, gain a +1 to your AC from the effect of the ritual.}}
As one of the creatures finally reaches behind the wizard and sorcerer line, it strangles one and bites deeply into one of the wizard's neck. The wizard goes down quickly from the surprise attack, losing concentration on their spell. The barrier flickers and a section of it turns off completely. A moment later, a blast of superheated air sweeps across the encampment, burning the tents and the wizards nearby. It will not take long before a cascade failure of the barrier happens and the entire encampment is engulfed in flame.
LG7 moves and triggers the break in the barrier. It automatically dies from the fire damage caused by the break in the barrier. LG18 moves and dashes east.
Seeing the urgency of killing these creatures, Wadi swings toward one of the creature near him and immediately sends it crashing backwards.
{{If you look at the map, the entire horizontal line where LG7 currently is, as well as two lines below and above it, are now engulfed in hot air. As none of you are there, there's no effect yet. Also, a note in advance on Myrla's AoO and Wadi's attack. Myrla's AoO will kill LG1 and Wadi will kill LG13.}}
I believe it is now Inge and Milo (Wadi's turn has been resolved)
Milo will attempt to finish off some of the ones around him, before they can get to the wizards. (If only I had action surge). He is targeting the most injured one first (can't remember which I have hit if any).
Shouting incoherently in frustration, Inge hears the General Lunafreya and skids to a halt, then turns and runs back the way she came. Back towards the skeletal amalgamation, giving up her futile chase of LG18 and LG6, as those smelly monsters seem out of reach now, having dashed to the east.
"Nice one, Milo! Myrla, Brixie, can you pick off the ones getting by us? I'm going after the big one like, ah... commander Luna-foofoo said."
She sees Wadi beset by enemies and injured, but she has no time to help Dawnchaser right now and trusts him to hold his own.
(The following assumes Milo finished off LG17 which he had injured with an AoO earlier, and had then crit LG20 in post 486 above).
Movement: 35' NW-->NW-->NW-->W-->NW-->NW-->NW
Action: As she passes, she cleaves either LG19 (uninjured) with her glaive. Glaive to hit: 18 Glaive damage (including Rage): 16 slashing (max)
Bonus Action: In case this blow does not finish LG19, she swings the haft of her Glaive around, but almost trips over her failed Polearm Master attack. Glaive back-end Polearm Master bonus attack to hit: 7 (Nat. 1)
Reaction: Inge's reaction resets and she will use her Polearm Master opportunity attack on any enemy that enters her reach (will roll as needed).
Milo's hands move quickly as he stabs two creatures at the same time. As both creatures fall to the ground, their bones are quickly drawn into the newly appeared skeletal creature. Two other limbs seem to sprout from its spherical centre.
With the help of Inge, all the creatures around Milo die. Just like when Milo killed his two opponents, its bones are quickly drawn toward the skeletal creature, adding another limb to it.
{{LG17, LG19, and LG20 are dead. The creatures around Milo are all dead.}}
LG1 tries to move, but Myrla is once again ready to block. She stabs the creature, and yanks out her blade roughly, causing the creature to become a long smear of bones and gore on the ground beside her. The bones of the creature are also quickly drawn toward the skeletal creature. Another limb sprouts out of the central bone sphere.
LG6 moves a little bit northward and bites a sorcerer who is attempting to add more power to the failing barrier. The sorcerer falls down and another opening quickly bursts open in the barrier. A wave of superheated air blasts through the encampment right toward some of the fallen druids, Brix, Milo, Inge, and the creatures in the same area. Two of the creatures (LG23 and LG25) are immediately incinerated by the heat. The surviving creatures quickly crowd around Inge despite their heavily charred form.
The lone creature in front of Wadi once again tries to rake its claw across Wadi's torso. Wadi's staff parries the claw away before it can get closer to him.
LG1 tries to move, but Myrla's AoO killed it. LG6 moves 3 blocks north before triggering the break in the barrier. I need Brix, Milo, and Inge to make a CON save. Save DC and damage in spoiler. LG6 dies immediately, same as LG7 when it triggered the break previously. LG12 uses Claw against Wadi: 13 to hit [Miss] LG18, LG23, and LG25 failed their save and immediately dies. LG22 and LG24dashes to crowd around Inge. AoO should pop here. Just roll your attack. If it is above 12, one of the creatures die because their hit points are both less than 3.
Save DC is 15. On a save, you take 7 fire damage. On a fail, you take 14 fire damage.
With her foe dispatched, Myrla takes a quick glance around. She notes that the ones that broke through have been incinerated after tearing a break in what appears to be some short of shield that is hold up by acolytes in the west. Wadi seems to be holding up, barely, and Inge went down after the intense heat wave washed over her. Brix and Milo are still not visible through the dust thrown up by the blast wave. 'I hope they are fine,' she thinks to herself and turns her attention to the immediate danger. She dashes (70 feet) towards Wadi and Inge, and the majority of their remaining enemies, calling out to Wadi, "Wadi! Inge went down. Can you get her up?"

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
Milofeels the heat, but he is used to a bit of desert heat so he is able to grit his teeth and push through the heat (save: 20), though he is still very injured, and will likely go down if one of the creatures manages to hit him again (or any more heat gets to him, though looking at the map, I don't think any more are near the barrier so as long as he moves, it should be okay)
Wadeis busy fighting his own battles when across the battle field he sees his life long friend collapse. Everything stops and moves in slow motion. He is penned in by the creatures. He desperately wants to help save her. His heart aches, but what can he do...
In desperation, he stretches out his hand to Inge, trying to close the distance between them. Deep within him, he feels something. Strange, but not bad. It builds and grows stronger in his chest and what can best be described as a cooling fire races down his outstretched hand and for a brief moment he and Inge are connected. He feels the energy leave him and fly to his friend.
Brix' head is spinning. Battle is not something he is accustomed too. Suddenly a blast of hot air sends his t8ny form tumbling. The word fades to darkness...
{{Noted Wadi's bonus action for the next round. Also noted Brix went down during his turn, so make the death save with an advantage because you are under the effect of the ritual cast by General Lunafreya.}}
LG21 dashes the rest of the way to crowd around Wadi.
The skeletal creature moves toward Inge, thinking her the largest threat still standing. It appears to communicate with the other creatures somehow as it moves past Wadi who is facing two creatures on his own. When Inge falls from the blast of hot wind, the creature moves toward the closest alive one, Myrla. Two of its limbs quickly strike at Myrla, once glancing over her head and another hitting straight at her shield. Myrla could feel her shield tremble at the power of the strike, but for a brief moment, a shine of green with the same colour as the spectral tree that General Lunafreya let out covered her shield and bled the power of the strike away.
Casting a glance toward the phalanx, the ritual seems to bolster their defences. There are no more creatures passing through them. A little bit further ahead of the phalanx, a circle of bones and gore can be seen with the knight who guided you to the camp swinging his large blade relentlessly in a beautiful wavy pattern in the very middle. Each strike of his blade kills at least one of the undead creatures.
LG21dashes toward Wadi. SC moves toward Myrla and attacks twice using its limbs: 7 to hit [Miss]; and 19 to hit [Miss because of the +1 AC]
Round #5
In a bid of desperation, a flow of energy comes out of Wadi and wraps around Inge. Inge blearily opens her eyes, surprised that she is still alive when the last thing she sees is a burning wave of fire. She immediately jolts up as she remembers that she is still in the midst of battle and one of the smelly undead creatures is right in front of her, sniffing hungrily.
{{Top of the round, Inge, Wadi, and Milo. No map as we're in the final length of the combat and there's not much enemy left. We still have LG12 and LG21 surrounding Wadi. LG24 in front of Inge. And now SC is in front of Myrla. Both Wadi, Milo, and Inge can reach SC with their movement. Brix is about 50 feet away from SC.}}
I believe that Milo has no creature around him so is not at a risk of an AoO. I also believe (based on the map as it last stood) that he can't reach Wadi to help him. So he will head towards SC, trusting Inge to handle herself.
He swings each of his rapiers, hoping to reduce how many arms this creature has.
First swing: 18to hit, 10piercing damage. Second swing (which for some reason has a -1 custom modifier in the to hit that I don't remember if there was a reason or if it is a mistake): 25(Crit!) for 20piercing damage (Taking the first roll of the two in the attack, and making the second one max. I should set a custom crit damage up for it)
If he has any spare movement (not too sure exactly where it is for how far away it was) he will move back (no AoO due to Mobile feat) using all his spare movement up to a maximum of 20ft, seeing as he is only on 4hp.
For a brief moment, a young, lanky adolescent Inge is happily wandering the White Waste with her even taller friend Wadi. He reaches out and...
"Hey stop it, Nature Walker! That tickles. I..." Inge's mumbling protest comes to a halt as she opens her eyes, levering herself up using her glaive.
As reality comes flooding back, the attacking abominations, the blast of superheated air, her instincts take over once more, though her Rage has subsided. From her unaccustomed low position as she rises from prone, she sees her gnome friend lying burned and motionless on the ground some distance away.
"Brixie! We have to help Brixie too..." Yet she finds herself too far away and is forced to focus on the abomination (LG24) confronting her.
Action: Inge attacks LG24 in front of her with her Glaive, an uppercut as she rises from a kneeling position: Glaive to hit: 15 Glaive damage: 8 slashing
Bonus Action: Polearm Master bonus attack on LG24, whipping the haft of Glaive back across on her assailant's head: Glaive back-end to hit: 15 (again) Glaive damage: 7 bludgeoning
(Assuming LG24 is down) If Wadi is still facing attackers, Inge closes with them, hoping to draw their attacks so the Nature Walker might be able to heal Brix as he apparently did to her (Inge is still unsure!). Myrla and Milo are going to have to deal with the giant amalgamation by themselves for now...
As Milo's blades sink into the skeletal construct, it shudders. Its limbs jolt erratically as if the creature can feel pain.
In a flurry of movement, Wadi strikes both of the creatures in front of him. Unfortunately, both creatures prove to be stronger and don't go down with only one hit.
On Inge's end, she quickly stands and bisects the creature before her. Seeing the dire state of everyone, she moves to assist Wadi, skirting around the many limbs of the skeletal creature. Seeing an opportunity, she swings the back of her glaive at the back of the head of a creature in front of Wadi. The creature slumps to the ground and is immediately absorbed into the skeletal creature, bones and flesh. In a grotesque way, the bleached white skeletal creature starts to turn a little bit pink. There is strands of something branching from the middle of the skeletal sphere akin to veins.
{{LG24 is down from the first attack. I've moved Inge's bonus action to LG12, which killed it. That means there's only LG21 and SC left. That also means you guys are now in the same block of initiative at the start of the round while LG21 and SC are at the end of the round. So, Brix and Myrla, take your turn. I don't think I have seen Brix's death save from the previous round, so roll 2 death saves, both with advantage, for this round.}}
Myrla is puzzled by what Wadi just achieved with mysteriously healing Inge. She had expected him to go to her with his healer’s kit, such as she had one herself, and address her wounds but not reaching through the ether and yank her back to life by sheer willpower. This place is something else, maybe she shouldn’t be surprised anymore. Anyway there’s this weird amalgamation of bones of the creatures they had felled, and it’s flaying its limbs at her. Yet, she searches for a way to reach the creature still going at Wadi without providing an opportunity, if she can get to it, that’s her first priority. Otherwise, she will just attack the monstrosity right in front of her.

Action: Inge attacks LG24 in front of her with her Glaive, an uppercut as she rises from a kneeling position:
Glaive to hit: 15
Glaive damage: 8 slashing
Bonus Action: Polearm Master bonus attack on LG24, whipping the haft of Glaive back across on her assailant's head:
Glaive back-end to hit: 15 (again)
Glaive damage: 7 bludgeoning
(Assuming LG24 is down) If Wadi is still facing attackers, Inge closes with them, hoping to draw their attacks so the Nature Walker might be able to heal Brix as he apparently did to her (Inge is still unsure!). Myrla and Milo are going to have to deal with the giant amalgamation by themselves for now...
Tanis(Ranger1): Shiverquill's Tempest City | Xarian(Fighter2): NioNSwiper's Tyranny of Dragons
Dyson/Eleo(TwilightCleric4): Vos' Beyond the Veil | Soren(ShepherdDruid5): Bartjeebus' Ravenloft | Ophelia(WildMagicSorcerer4): Ashen_Age's Risen from the Sands
Joren(EchoKnightFighter6): NotDrizzt's Simple Request | Sabetha(MercyMonk3): Bedlymn's Murder Court | Seri(NatureCleric3/DivineSoulSorcerer1): Bartjeebus' Greyhawk
{{LG24 is down from the first attack. I've moved Inge's bonus action to LG12, which killed it. That means there's only LG21 and SC left. That also means you guys are now in the same block of initiative at the start of the round while LG21 and SC are at the end of the round. So, Brix and Myrla, take your turn. I don't think I have seen Brix's death save from the previous round, so roll 2 death saves, both with advantage, for this round.}}
Attack: hit 10 for 6 damage
Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
