This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Glynt will provide Inspiration toXanth knowing he's heading into the fray "Go get 'em Big Guy - You've taken dumps more fearsome than this lot!" , then he'll unleash an Arrow at Hobgoblin #1
... It might show the numbers later on, but what I am seeing now is..." Initiative: Unable to parse dice roll. Attack: 12 Damage: 6
I'll stick with the rolls shown there (not great on attack but that's what they are and honesty is king) ... for Initiative in case it doesn't ever update I will roll it in the app and it'll show on the log and post it here:
As Portia needs advantage or an ally in melee for her sneak attack, she will go and attack the goblin as the guiding bolt should have hit, and she is the next in line in the order it seems. (hopefully she doesn't then get ganged up on and die....) Bonus action dash to reach. 24to hit, 9damage (which includes 1 sneak attack, and 8from the magic dagger)
RAGDOR quickly targets the Goblin and with a flash of radiant light strikes the smallest foe in the room. The Goblin screams, falls to floor, and dies.
(This will likely totally change what Portia will do next. I will hold here for Portia to consider something else.)
XANTH takes a swipe at the approaching HOBGOBLIN but misses.
The second HOBGOBLIN turns Bones into a pile of...well... bones.
GLYNT inspires XANTH then unleashes an arrow but misses the HOBGOBLIN.
ERKY pulls open his components pouch and produces some tiny tarts and a feather. He waives the items in the air pointing toward the HOBGOBLIN at the door. ERKY casts Tasha’s Hideous Laughter.
Glynt will move forward and call out "Keep clear of the Big Guy", then cast Faerie Fire (20 foot Cube / DC 12 Dec Save) positioning it to get the Hobgoblin Chief and as many of the others while trying not to hit any of our team, though knowing how nimble Portia can be he'd be hoping that she could make the save if needed but hoping she doesn't get too close in the meantime..
I have got in the habit of putting an extra space at the end of any dice roll and made sure I don’t refresh the page until well after the post is committed.
Portia, too surrounded for her own liking, will bonus action disengage (especially as one more hit will knock her out). She will run out of the room taking a stab at #2 on the way. 23to hit for 8total damage (including sneak attack) "If they bunch up, I am not sure if it is a good idea to use the fire potion on them now, or save it for later. There have been mentions of the twig blights below. I think the fire would be devastating to them."
A dolorous bell rings out around the first HOBGOBLIN as RAGDOR ask for diving intervention in the situation.
HOBGOBLIN 1 WIS Save6
The nimble PORTIA Disengages from the first and third HOBGOBLINs. She casually kills the second one as she passes by. (That was kinda cool.)
The HOBGOBLIN CHIEFcould care less about the Goblin, but one of his soldiers, that is another matter. With determination the leader of the Durbuluk Tribe takes aim at the Human Barbarian. ATT 11 DMG 6
The first HOBGOBLIN, seeing what happened to the second one, reaches for his bow, and sends an arrow at the Human. ATT 23 DMG 5
The third one moves closer to his Chief. As he does, he pulls out his Longbow and launches an arrow at XANTH. ATT 11 DMG 5
Feeling a little left out from the party, the Chief's HOBGOBLIN CONSORT, pulls out her Longbow and joins the rain of arrows against the Human Barbarian. ATT 5 DMG 5
GLYNT works to put a little shiny on the situation. The Gnome targets a Fearie Fire on the Chief.
HOBGOBLIN CHIEF DEX SAVE18
HOBGOBLIN CONSORT DEX SAVE18
(Let's see what all this does.)

Damage: 6
I'll stick with the rolls shown there (not great on attack but that's what they are and honesty is king) ... for Initiative in case it doesn't ever update I will roll it in the app and it'll show on the log and post it here:
Initiative (in App): 1 + 3 = 4
Xanth
Initiative 1+2=3 (ouch)
Bonus action Rage
Then he will attack I will wait to say who since he will be going so low in the order.
Attack = 7
Bone will do the same.
Attack: 18 Damage: 6
Initiative 17.
As Portia needs advantage or an ally in melee for her sneak attack, she will go and attack the goblin as the guiding bolt should have hit, and she is the next in line in the order it seems. (hopefully she doesn't then get ganged up on and die....) Bonus action dash to reach. 24 to hit, 9 damage (which includes 1 sneak attack, and 8 from the magic dagger)
After joining more my signature got out of hand so I am now a proud member of the extended signature club!! :)
(I was wrong. This could get a lot chaotic and right from the beginning.)

ROUND ONE (Start)
RAGDOR quickly targets the Goblin and with a flash of radiant light strikes the smallest foe in the room. The Goblin screams, falls to floor, and dies.
(This will likely totally change what Portia will do next. I will hold here for Portia to consider something else.)
Yes. Not wanting to rush in and die, she moves less far, ducks behind the wall, and dodges
After joining more my signature got out of hand so I am now a proud member of the extended signature club!! :)
ROUND TWO (Continued)
PORTIA rushes in and ducks behind the curtain wall to the big scary dark hole in center of the room covered in white pale vines.
The HOBGOBLIN CHIEF, not overly concerned about the fallen Goblin, begins by barking orders in the Goblin languange.
The second HOBGOBLIN moves to guard the door. He attacks the skeleton. ATT 6 DMG 6
The first HOBGOBLIN moves behind the second and attacks the Halfling Rogue. ATT with Disadvantage ATT 21 DMG 6
The third HOBGOBLIN moves to engage PORTIA as well. ATT with Disadvantage ATT 9 DMG 6
(I will pause to give Xanth a chance at an Opportunity Attack on the second Hobgoblin.)
Opportunity Attack = 8
(Well…that didn’t work.)
HOBGOBLIN 2 WIS save 3
(Let’s see what that does…..)
The second HOBGOBLIN falls to the ground rolling in laughter.
(This should give Xanth advantage. Take another roll, if you like, to see if you hit the incapacitated Hobgoblin on the floor before you.)
ROUND TWO
(Ragdor and Portia are up before the Hobbies. But everyone please go ahead with your planned Round Two actions.)
targeting hobo #1
casting Toll the Dead
damage 4
odd, I didn't edit that post...
Attack = 24 Damage = 8 +2= 10
(It happens to me a lot too. Most frustrating.)
I have got in the habit of putting an extra space at the end of any dice roll and made sure I don’t refresh the page until well after the post is committed.
Xanth
"You killed Bones! Well, kinda."
Attack #2 = 20 with adv. Damage = 6+2 = 8
Offhand Attack = 21 Damage = 5+2 = 7
If #2 dies on the first attack he will step in and go after #1 but the attack will be without adv. = 11.
Portia, too surrounded for her own liking, will bonus action disengage (especially as one more hit will knock her out). She will run out of the room taking a stab at #2 on the way. 23 to hit for 8 total damage (including sneak attack) "If they bunch up, I am not sure if it is a good idea to use the fire potion on them now, or save it for later. Look for an opening, attack if opportunity, on one of the ones Portia is disengagement...
The second HOBGOBLIN is just ROFL.
XANTH takes Advantage of this situation and hacks into the second HOBGOBLIN.
