Ragdor smiles at Glynt, moves back toward the center of the room, sounds like our best chance for a fight will be the east door. Maybe wez check the other one first then?
"Are we sure we want to just walk away from whatever is making those sounds? I never like the idea of leaving something that can come at us from behind when we cause a ruckus down the line "
As Ragdor reaches for the door handle Xanth's words hit his ears, unh? Ah yes, good thinking lad. Guess my mind was elsewhere. The cleric inspects the door, perception nat 20+4=24
the east door had sound behind it, not sure of how there might be though, the southern door was quiet. We can go to the east door, I can throw it open from a distance and hopefully get the element of surprise on the occupants, allowing our folks to get off a couple of bow shots before we engage, or we can check the southern door and clear it first.
Ragdor will move ten feet or so into the passage way in hope for a better look, Looks like the passage goes on for sixty feet or so then possibly opens up, I can light us a torch if'n we need.
Glynt will cast Light on Xanth's glaive again now it's dark. "If anyone doesn't want me to light things for Xanth let me know, however he can't see in the dark so guessing he could use it"
We will carefully move down the corridor and look to see how deep the rift is (Glynt is NOT at the front).
XANTH will move to the edge of where a rift opens up. Its debris-strewn floor two feet below that of the corridor. No phosphorescent fungus grows in the rift. It is dark. The corridor continues past the rift, though the opening of the rift has caused it to shift 10 feet to the west. A number of two-foot-diameter holes riddle the floor of the rift. The smell of burnt earth hangs in the air.

“Sounds good to me let’s go.”
I will aid him in checking the door then open after a perception check.
Ragdor if you would roll your massive check with advantage.
Bix gets her crossbow and follows. I’ll follow you to the door.
Ragdor moves to the southern door, checks to see if it's locked.
"Are we sure we want to just walk away from whatever is making those sounds? I never like the idea of leaving something that can come at us from behind when we cause a ruckus down the line "
RAGDOR will determine that the south door is not locked.
Ragdor did you want to check it for traps with a perception check with advantage?
"If that thing attacked us, we would probably all be eaten. We need to find our quarry and stop what is causing this blite."
As Ragdor reaches for the door handle Xanth's words hit his ears, unh? Ah yes, good thinking lad. Guess my mind was elsewhere. The cleric inspects the door, perception nat 20+4=24
RAGDOR does not find a trap on any doors leaving the large squarish room the party first climbed down to.
ERKY listens and is confused, “Should we go East first, or should we go South?”

Clearing the South door may be a good idea. I can stand ready with my bow in case there is something there.
(Moving along!)
ERKY will say, "South door then."
XANTH opens the door.
The party sees a corridor heading due south. RAGDOR and BIX can see at the limit of their Darkvision a break of some kind further down this corridor.
(Will be posting a new map in the OOC thread,)
Ragdor will move ten feet or so into the passage way in hope for a better look, Looks like the passage goes on for sixty feet or so then possibly opens up, I can light us a torch if'n we need.
RAGDOR will notice that the corridor appears to be divided by some kind of rift, shifting the whole corridor ten feet to the west.
"No need Ragdor. Glynt its dark down there could you light up my glaive. Please."
Assuming he does Let go take a look. He begins carefully walking down the tunnel keeping an eye out shifting rock that may signal a tunnel collapse.
Glynt will cast Light on Xanth's glaive again now it's dark. "If anyone doesn't want me to light things for Xanth let me know, however he can't see in the dark so guessing he could use it"

(Map Updated.)
Ragdor will follow Xanth down the passage...
Bix follows behind Ragdor and Xanth, keeping slightly to the side in order to see if something comes out. Are there any sounds coming from the rift?
