"Why don't we return to the room we rested in earlier ... seemed to be well off the beaten track and we are able to seal ourselves in and hopefully hear people coming"
I'm ok with going back to the room - Ragdor is in on the map. we've cleared that area. Xanth do you need a long rest or can we get by with a short one. I think our biggest battle is still before us - I'm ok on spell slots, I've been holding off on bigger spells just incase the next room has our BBEG in it.
I'm out of rages. But if I heal up, I can still swing my weapon. I would rather take a long rest but could push on a little while longer with a short one if we want. Plus, the whistle will be recharged tomorrow.
"I haven't been hit but I'm down half my magical abilities, I'm ok with either though I am wondering if we should consider heading back to town to give a heads up as to what we have found and what has been accomplished. It would be a shame for Ms Hurcule if she didn't at least get an update of what we know so far and what we are going to do next - if the worst happens she'll be none the wiser."
We could run back to town but I'm not sure what really have to report. I'd rather wait until we have more to tell her, and we have learned much about the cause of the blight or found those magical apples. We've got to be getting close though, those last rooms looked similar to labs and green houses.
The party returns to the room with the skeletal gardeners. RAGDOR blows Night Caller and animates one of the skeletons to serve him. The Cleric arms the skeleton with scimitar and shield taken from the Goblins. (You could change this if you had other weapons in your possession.)
(I moved the party's token to one of the Goblin rooms. Where do you go?)
"Should we go up into the corridor and to the East? That way we would be parallel to the area where we are sleeping. Would be good to know there's no hidden doors into the area we are camping."
Bix falls in behind Ragdor and the strange skeleton. Ragdor that’s an interesting new companion you have. She keeps a sharp eye all around them, looking out for anything that may come up behind them.

sounds good, let's go rest a bit. Maybe a quick lunch as well.
(Back to the Mummy room? Long rest? Or Short Rest?)

Sounds like a long rest is in order, in that case let's move back to the mummy room, easier to defend if needed

"Don't think that way. Plus, it would take to long to go back to town. Let's rest then make another push I think we are getting close."
"Town is only a day - day and a half away isn't it? A quick enough round trip."

ERKY will add, “I think there is daughter we have not found. It would be good to know what happened to her.”
Im good with a rest. I can be ready to go at anytime.
GM Roll 12
(It looks like the consensus is that the party rests in the mummy room. You will not be disturbed in your Long Rest. Everyone takes a Long Rest.)
DAY EIGHT (THIRTEEN DAYS until the SUMMER SOLSTICE.)
(Where do you go next?)
(@Glynt - I sent you a PM.)
Rewind
Xanth will go up to Ragdor. " I think this is ready and you may be able to use it better than me." With that he will hand him the Night Caller.

"That sound good to me. If you guys could keep am eye out for traps I will lead the way."
