Glynt will walk up to the door and check for traps with Assistance from Portia, if happy there is no danger he will then try to open the door, picking the lock if required.
Check for Traps: 8 Pick the Lock (if necessary): 24
Once the door has started to open he will return to his place at the back of the party, as always he keeps a Light spell running on Xanth's Glaive so he and Portia can see.
GLYNT will not find a trap or a lock on this door. He will note that it simply pivots when pushed.
XANTH opens the door and looks inside.
Dust fills this hall like a layer of gray snow. In the rounded northern end of the chamber stands a ten-foot-tall sculpture of a coiled dragon carved from red-veined white marble. (Map Updated!)

Portia checks for traps: Investigation 21
After joining more my signature got out of hand so I am now a proud member of the extended signature club!! :)
GLYNT will not find anything of use in the Orb room. Even the shattered Orbs look to have no value.
PORTIA looks over the door and does not detect anything out of the ordinary.
XANTH opens the door.
The air is stale in this twenty-foot-long corridor, which leads to another closed stone door.
(Map Updated!)
GLYNT will work with Xanth and Portia carefully investigate this room too.
Investigation - 22
GLYNT looks into the room and does not notice anything out of the ordinary.
Xanth let his thin friend lead the way to the next door.
Follow along, watching our backs.
When XANTH's thin friend enters the middle ten-foot square of this room it activates an undetected pressure plate. An arrow fires from above the western door toward the Skeleton. To Hit 23 DMG 5
(Red Line on updated Map)
The arrow clips the skeleton's pelvic bone but does no further damage.
Glynt will assist Portia in trying to disarm the trap.
by my beard! That was close. Good call sending bones in first there lad.
"Thanks. can we just step over it? Or is it sprung?"
You don't know. Want to step on it again?
I'm not too excited about tempting the fates any more, perhaps we should try to skirt around it.
Glynt will try to disarm the trap with assistance from Portia
Thieves Tools: 22
GLYNT realizing it is a pressure plate, is able to wedge his crowbar to prevent it from activating the arrow trap.
(He would need to leave the crowbar behind to keep it wedged. You can always recover it later.)
The party can safely cross the ten-foot section of floor that would activate the arrow trap.
You see a closed stone door ahead.
(I will be loading a new map in the OOC thread.)
(Did we lose everybody?)
Glynt will walk up to the door and check for traps with Assistance from Portia, if happy there is no danger he will then try to open the door, picking the lock if required.

(Thanks, Glynt.)

Glynt will very carefully enter the room and position himself on the far wall.
