Hi guys, I’ve been watching this thread for a while now and it seems really, really cool, though I wasn’t quite sure if it was open to people joining, but now you’ve welcomed a new player in I was wondering if it was cool for me to join as well? I’ve got a Druid character that I can use, maybe they could have been a stowaway or a companion hidden as a mouse in Rhino’s characters backpack if you’re chill with that?
Wait I just remembered Druids don’t get wild shape until level two, ignore what I said about possibly being a stowaway, I’ll think of another method to introduce myself if you’re fine with me playing :)
Tildrash nods, “Let’s take him to the doctor. But we need to hurry, we need as much time as we can get.” Tildrash helps Balen pick up the man and carry him to the hospital.
Hello I would like to join as well because I am new and this thread is welcoming new players in :) I have a character that I’m pretty sure you will like, it’s a cursed tiefling who has become a skeleton
Tildrash nods, “Let’s take him to the doctor. But we need to hurry, we need as much time as we can get.” Tildrash helps Balen pick up the man and carry him to the hospital.
Lifting the Tiefling you and Balen carry him to the Barbershop. Several people you pass by—most recognizable as people from incident with the Supine that morning—go out of their way to stay as far away as possible, muttering things about bad omens. The Barbershop is tidied up and the barber himself stands administering food paste to the Elder Druid Autumn via a long tube.
Tildrash walks to the barber with Balen with a serious but apologetic face, "I apologize for bringing so many people to your door, but this man passed out at the river and he needs your help."
((Welcome newcomers! Glad to see more people interested in my campaign truly I’m flattered. However I must ask that you wait a little while before joining in, shouldn’t be too long, I just want to introduce everyone in a natural narrative manner. You can PM at anytime though with any questions and also to send me your characters I would love to incorporate their backgrounds so write one up if you want))

Looking up he says softly but firm “no no I’m a doctor, it’s what I do. Set him over there” he gestures at the bed across from Autumn.

((Awesome, I’ll wait until Rhino’s character is stable, and then I’ll introduce myself. I’ll PM you my character sheet and background shortly))
[Hey dude fancy seeing you here! This looks like a pretty cool campaign, I’ve PMed the DM my character sheet so should be joining soon, should be a nice break from being a perma-DM lmao]

"Thanks," Balen nodded as he helped Tildrash place the man on the bed, "Looks like it has been a crazy day. By the looks of the people on the street, I don't know, I feel like it's gonna be crazier." He chuckled, "Before he passed out 'said somethin' 'bout water. Maybe he's dehydrated?" He looked over to where Autumn was, raising his eyebrow at the scene, surprised another person was now sick, "Maybe you have one of those tube things for him, but for, um, water this time?"
((Ayyyyy welcome new people!!!))

[I've sent the DM my character sheet but we had a few issues trying to get it to load, I've resent it to them and I'm now just waiting on a response on whether or not it's been successful. After that's been sorted I'll find a place to introduce my character, who I might as well explain a bit about since you don't know anything about them yet:
My Character: Cetar Allwood (Human Druid, Sage Background) Cetar was sent to a Wizarding Boarding school at a young age, but was soon kicked out as he preferred to play with worms and explore the beasts in the enchanted forest than attend lessons and lectures. So his parents then decided to get him a one-to-one druid tutor, who was much more to Cetar's liking. He's now set out to continue his druidic lessons as an adventuring field study, and is optimistic for what's to come on his greatest lesson yet.
"What does it mean, is it a hex?" Tildrash looks at the man sitting in the bed, "Do you think this is connected to the villagers' superstitions?"
“That is a… a Gorthax branding. One not often seen, It is only branded on one who has committed great sin against the them. The Gorthax give them a day to flee, most only last that one day.” He looks solemnly at the unconscious tiefling “Your father, Tildrash, is as far as I know the only person who managed to survive the 46 days”
