Baron has noticed that the shadow demons seem unwilling to enter the bright light of his torch. As such, he would yell to the others to stay within the bright light. He goes against his instincts to try and destroy all of the demons, knowing he needs to get to somewhere his magic works.
As the demons make their way out if the cave, the runes that suppressed spells earlier begin to glow faintly. The amulet given to Baron by Sloobludop begins to glow in a pulsing rhythm matching the runes. The deep humm if the runes and the talisman shake the ground, the walls and Baron's chest. His heart pounds as he runs to the gate. The buzzing reaches a crescendo just as the two demons running from the torchlight pass through the bars. With a single complex tone, a wave of pressure washes over the cave, dispelling all the demons within, but not the two who made it out.
Players are up. There's two guards and rhe cave beside you is full of quaggoths. None kf the other prisoners died, so they're all still there.
Assuming that I can now use magic again, Baron conjures up two eldritch blasts and fires them at the nearest demon, illuminated by his torch. {Blast 1, 24 to hit for 14 damage. Blast 2: 14 to hit for 9 damage. As a bonus action, he summons his tentacle of the deeps.
Kos scrambles past Captain Sparhawk to relative safety.

The huge armored paladin advances on the closest demon and attacks it twice: 11 to hit on first attack, 19 to hit 14 damage on second attack. He will note if the sword is damaging the demon.
Quietly, Sparhawk says,”the long answer is, we need their help getting back to the caverns we seek, sort answer, I don’t run away.” He defends against the demon attacks.

Sparhawk slices theough the last shadow demon, the bifurcated shadows holding the together by a thread of dusky mist as Wyselath destroys the last remnants of the fiend with a burst of arcane magic.
The elite drow who emerged feom the barracks over the waterfall whistles and the sound of growling from within the other cave grows louder as quaggoths rush to the entrance.
From the barred cave you were in emerge, into the torchlight, a pair of quadrwpedal creatures with grey fur, their features looking rather like rats, but with an overall humanoid form. They wind their way through the other prisoners, trying to avoid the bright light.
Buppido attacks the guard who shot at Baron, rushing to stab at him with his spear 18 for no damage, using the hooked spear to knock the drow prone, instead

The elite warrior misses Ront, but the hard labor and starvation have weakened the brute and the prone guard somehow manages to hold on to his weapon. The other guard, meanwhile discharges another poison bolt at Ront 5 for 5 piercing, dc13 poison

Tentacle of the deeps will also attack the same guard, getting a critical hit for 8 cold damage. The guards speed is reduced by 10 feet.
