((yessss wildshape >:3 I've been wondering when the druid was gonna do that eheh. Also cool with Argo's help you got 15 AC now niceee ))
"Games! Yes games!" The wynlings chitter. They fly around in loops around their post. Then they heard trick at they stopped mid-flight. "Magic trick? Magic trick!Magic trick! Real cool.Real Cool."They watch eagerly for your next move until they see it is a trick, then they yelp. "No!" The ones farthest-most make a B-line towards you.
"No fair!"They start encircling you two. Buzzes fill the air as bat wings flap. They sound more like bugs than mammals. They start taking bites at you guys but they chomp air especially at Macario. Your shadowy essence fails to amuse them. They screech more.
"CHEATER!"
Suddenly a dog howls. The shadow mastiff goes chasing after someone. Hooves beat against the wood floor. A wynling (the orange one) is sent flying to the left. Its tiny body meets the edge of the tree's circumference. Then it hits green void. It immediately disintegrates. Evaporates. All turned to ash and dust. The other wynlings turn to face the attacker.
Here, huffing and puffing, is Eduardo. And he holds a bat. He pushes hair away from his face. He looks bewildered to see an elf on a horse.
"WHAT IS HAPPENIN' HERE?!"
((combat starts the moment you jump past the bridge since you have enough speed for that hehehe.))

Lefty DEX Save 19 + 2 = 21 > 14 Save ---> Left takes no cold damage
End of Round: 8/15 HP
Righty edges closer. Your Ice Knife seizes the moment and hits it straight in the face. It doubles back in sheer pain. It howls. The knife slices right through their side of their eye. It would make a cool scar, but that is not on what its mind now. The blood seeps from the wound. Upon hitting, the knife shatters into pieces everywhere. it also took on more damage. The right barhgert shivers. The left one doesn't. Its voice is like a hyena as it cackles. Righty doesn't seem to enjoy that.
Bargherts! - Round 2
15: Barghert (Lefty) (55/55 HP)
(Action) Attack @Brodir with Bite 15 + 6 = 21 > AC 15 A Hit. ---> Brodir takes 7 piercing damage ---> Brodir is now at 1/15 HP

(Action) Grapple @Brodir with 13 + 3 = 16 ((Make a Strength Athletics or Dexterity Acrobatics check against it))
6: Brodir (1/15 HP)
Lefty's cackles are not all bark no bite. Lunging, its teeth sink into your leg as it hangs off even if you kick it. Sliding off on its own accord, the creature howls forth and comes back. Claws go swinging but misses. They scratch at nothing. The left one stalks the stage, eyes glowing orange.
The right one snarls. It hates that its suggestion didn't work. Full force it goes leaping towards you, knocking the you off your feet.
"Tell us! Tell us now!" Righty's slobber gets all on your face. "How do we cross the other side?!"
((Obviously you wouldn't know how to cross, but you can definitely try to deceive or convince them which wouldn't take an action))

DM: Drakkenheim Mind and Matter + Blood Secrets + What's in the Here and Now;
Macaro feels a strange rush of power surging through him as his body disintegrates and reforms. This wasn't a power he particularly enjoyed using, but also was not especially common in the priesthood as it took a certain level of understanding. Sesisah was the goddess of the waters and the dead, and by extension, a representation of change. Just as the tide changes with the sun and with the seasons, and as life changes to death, certain clerics of Sesisah could channel her power to temporarily change their form. As soon as he finishes assuming his new shape and Argos hops on his back, Macario springs forward. He dodges around the wynlings and leaps off the edge of the severed bridge. The jet black shadow horse soars across the gap just as the mastiff's howl cuts through the air, and as he comes to a hard landing on his hooves, Macario looks back to notice the young tiefling he'd met earlier that morning.
[[
Lore? Attempt at lore?? Also yeah I hadn't used an actual wildshape yet bc I built Macario mostly for melee and the temp hp from Symbotic Entity uses wildshape charges but glad you're excited to see it!
Also to be 100% above-board on this crazy maneuver, a 10 ft. running start gets you a long jump distance equal to your STR score which is 16 ft. for the riding horse. Jump triples your jump distance making it 48 ft. The horse's movement speed is 60 ft. which gets it the 10 ft. running start, 40 ft. gap, and 10 ft. from the edge on the other side, and finally, disengage means none of the wynlings would get attacks of opportunity as I leave their threatened areas! ;)
((gotta say again how much I love the lore and also the effort to prove the jumping like yoooo *bangs gavel* I approve))
Hooves hit the ground running as Macario backs up to get across the ledge. Wind (or its equivalent in this dimension) blows in its shadowy mane. In a matter of seconds he is past the terchous edge. It would do Sesisah proud. He sticks the landing without so much as a sound. The tiefling looks on with his mouth agape.
The wynlings on the other hand are not so happy. Laughing and whining they come at you guys with a fury. "Liar! Liar!"They scream and shout. "Pants on fire!" It would have been more metaphorical if the sky didn't just change to an eerie red glow afterward. The sky itself seems to come alive with the sound of a thousand angry buzzing wings. Nothing emerges from thsi void, but the wynlings doesn't look so eager to test it out either. The ripe banana smell becomes more visceral here. Eduardo tightens his hold on his bat. The shadow mastiff tugs at the bottom of his pants. "Ah!" He shouts, stepping back with a blind swing at it.
With this, the dog howls. It is a sharp piercing howl that permates throughout the space. The wynlings cover their ears at the noise. "AHMAKE IT STOP!MAKE IT STOP!" They cry out. The wynlings are now frightened for this whole round, meaning they won't move from the space they are now (also they have disadvantage). So too now is Eduardo as he ducks to block out the noise (as if that helps).

You, despite bleeding, manage to throw off the the attacking braghert. The snarling canine yelps as it topples over and down. On impact it hits its head, which is shakes with a growl. "Follow the frozen line?"Its eyes widen. It limps forward. "What does that mean?"
"Nothing! It means nothing!" Lefty stares sharply at you, baring its teeth. "It's tricking us." It turns its head over to its pal then back again. "It's throwing us off- off our scent."With a straight pointed tail and hackles raised, it comes after you. "And we don't like to be tricked." It rushes towards you.
Suddenly the bargherts just drop to the ground. In thud, they don't even find time to breathe as Righty jumps up and steps back with a whimper. "What was that?"Lefty gets up slowly. "I have some matters to attend to."
"Finish it."
And with that Lefty's gone. Righty hesistates, blinks, then looks back at you. It charges.
"no trick. the six lines each lead to six desires, and each is fixed on you. only if you can detach from a line may you reach what is on the other end."
Macario looks back across the gap, seeing the shadow mastiff and the young tiefling with a knack for getting himself into trouble. He wasn't quite sure why, but he had a soft spot for the boy. Perhaps he reminded him of another young troublemaker running around the temple all those years ago. Regardless of what it was, he couldn't bring himself to just leave the tiefling behind. Pausing for only a second to shake his head and let Argos know to slide off his back, Macario then takes off back in the direction of the main tree. His hooves thunder onto the wooden deck between Eduardo and the drop off into the red void below, and he bends his neck downward to nose at the pocket where he knew the boy had put the gold coin from earlier, hoping to convey some sort of familiarity despite his animal form. Bending down to invite the tiefling to climb on his back, Macario readies himself to make the long jump one more time before getting the group to safety.
[[ Hope it's okay to have Argos climb off even though he hasn't acted yet, was kind of assuming that would be the first thing he'd do on his turn. And then I am readying an action to dash back to the room platform on Eduardo's turn once he's climbed on. Also I'm hoping based on the map that I can take a path that avoids any opportunity attacks from the wynlings? ]]
((Oh cool! I don't really know much of norse mythology))
"Really?" The limping barghart takes to your assertions with intrigue. "I- I've never heard of it before. Six desires?" It eyes the catwalk above you. Shadowy swirling tendrils dance above it. It sniffs the air. Frown lines scrunch against its wolfish face. It nods.
"Charge the lines."Flopping down on its hind legs, it howls. Suddenly, the flaming green lights of the lanterns turn on again. The burning eyes of the idolized gods illuminate the empty dance hall. With its eyes away from you, the barghart moves away. It hops off the stage in one jump. In silence, it walks over to the pulsating pile of masks at the center. "Break the barrier."
"Create the vortex."
Slamming down with its front two paws, it breaks the mask that looks just like you. "AhhAHawWOOO"
The whole room begins to shake. Paint starts peeling off the walls and the wooden lines begin to crack. All of a sudden, in the barghart's place is an exact copy of you. Your copy looks back at you with a crazed smile. "Thanks for the tip."
A Dimension door appears in the middle of the piles, floating 30 feet off the floor. The blueish energy door crackles and fizzles with lightning eruptions. Righty tilts its head at the floating door. "How do I get up?" It mumbles to itself.
haha ghostbusters (2016) quote
@Macario and Argos
((Hey no worries on that. sorry I was really late too. Also good luck on the college thing! Also I work as an SAT tutor and Let's Get Ready has good opportunities like literally free SAT prep))
Skidding to a stop in front of him, the tiefling backs up at the sight of the strange shadowy horse. His chest moving up and down as he shields himself closed eyes from it, putting his arms above his head as he almost crouches down. But then the feels the horse's nudge, slowly he gets up again, shakily putting his hand out to the horse's muzzle. The horse instead of biting him (as he expected), takes to nuzzling his shirt pocket.
"Oh! Wow? I-" Hesitantly, he puts his hand on the horse's back, then seeing as there was no danger, he begins to climb on. "Thanks- I- I can't-"The shadow mastiff lunges. It goes to biting at his pant leg, trying to drag him down. Eduardo yelps. Though after nearly sending himself falling off the horse, he regains his balance. In an instant he scoops up the shadowy dog and cradles it in his right arm like a baby (the other arm wraps around the neck of the strange horse beast). The dog does not take lightly to this, but it shuts up once seeing you were about to jump.
The wynlings, immediately thrown off by your position resetting ("Why are you running away?Why are you running away?"), start flapping their wings rapidly. Upon seeing that you reached the edge unscathed, they growl and hiss. This chatter soon becomes a resounding cacophony of laughter. "Hehehe! Oheheheh!Hehehe!" One by one the wynlings turn invisible. They are out of sight, but not out of mind. You hear roaring laughter even from within your own heads. It is relentless. The buzzing green void round you begins to pulsate, turning to rapid vibrant brilliant colors of light green to lightning blue.
"The barrier! The barrier! The barrier!"

"im not sure if you can actually freeze it, or if you chose the right line. it takes a lot of power and knowlege, otherwise your desire stays on the other side of the world from you. good luck! also, if it works, please tell me which line you followed. each line has a different sort of desire, and im not sure which one this is."
"also, im not sure if the lines extend here. if they do, the lines will lead you true. if it isnt frozen, your destination will go further away from you as you move towards it."
[[ With the readied dash, Macario and company would be back on the other platform with Argos before the wynling's turn where they vanished. ]]
Hooves thundering onto the platform next to Argos once again, Macario's smoky equine form dissipates as he lands in a crouch next to the elf and the tiefling boy he'd once again rescued. "They may not stay gone for long. I don't know what this 'barrier' is, but we need to keep our guard up." He turns to Eduardo, placing a hand on the boy's shoulder and gesturing to the elf beside him. "This is Argos. Help him keep those little pests back while I try to get us out of here." Faint shadowy magic flows down his arm and briefly surrounds the tiefling as Macario casts mage armor on him before turning and entering his room to find the mask.
((ohhhh! wow!!! That's really cool then! I like this lore! building up mythologies really are fun. it has become canon now))
The barhert-turned-you-clone look at you for a hot second then turns back to stare at the floating passageway. With its own contorted twisted version of your face it growls, teeth bared and (somehow) claws out. "GRRARRR...hm." It straightens up, shoulders slumped. Then it hisses. "I- I WANT! ..." It curls its hands into fists, piercing its own nails into its hand once it realized how genuine you were. Your 'Good luck' hit it harder than any punch, bite, or kick it could ever imagine. "I... I don't know."
It stares to look up at the flashing brilliance of lights. It starts again. "I want-"
"Want to go home." And with that a sudden blast of colored lightning shoots out from out the portal. It smack dab hits the chandelier in the centerpiece of the room. The barghert steps back. Crackles. Soon enough the beautiful display of leaves and carved quetzalcoatls gets engulfed in flames.
With a shaky breathe, the barghert sniffs the air then shouts, "We need to get out of here!"It frowns, then looks away. In a huff, it starts beginning to pile chairs and tables together to try and reach.

Eduardo just gasps as he sees the horse he was just on turn into a human. Clutching the dog in one hand and the bat hanging out from his backpack, he had jumped off the horse and wander over to the ledge, looking for signs of the creatures (one of which he had hit earlier). The shadow mastiff leaped out of his hands with a huff, hackles raised and growling at the air above. Eduardo backed up, and that's when he saw the horse's change in character. Literally. It became a person.
"How- how did you do that?!" He leans over as if to poke Macario but then reels his hand back. You could just see this change in thought process of 'oh no why did I do that. that would be dumb' from the wide eyes wonder to later the scrunched lines above his eyebrows. He nods, "Got it."His hands reach for his bat.
He turns his head over to Argos with a slight scowl. Quickly he goes to hide it. Waving, "Oh. Hey."an awkward same way back at you. He clutches the bat tighter, lightly swinging it as he tests it. He narrows his eyes and looks away.
Once again the critters begin to chitter. Eduardo looks back to see that Macario is casting magic on him and he freezes. Feeling the way it made him feel stronger surprises him as closes and uncloses his left hand in amazement. "Whoa! Thank you! Man, you keep surprising me with that."He playfully punches the druid. "Shouldn't have called you stuffy."Macario leaves to go inside the room.
"Alright then." The tiefling smirks over at Argos. With the noise level increasing you feel the battle on the brink. A bit too literally. "Mwahah!" After a blue wynling goes and misses an attack on Eduardo, suddenly springing on him from behind. The little attacker trips over its own wings and flies faces forward into Eduardo's back. "What the-"
The wynling pushes itself off with a growl. Another one coming from the east come billowing towards the two left on the balcony. Its grubby little hands reach forth. "NAHNANANAH."It sounds like a child repeatedly yelling "nah" at its parents, except instead of cute, it comes at Agros with the full force of a bull at a moving target. Head first. Argos, who planned for this, shoots out his Guiding Bolt. A brilliant radiance shoots out from the elf's hands. The wynling gets obliterated. In almost a cartoonish blink, the wynling stares out into space with its entire body covered in soot and ash with even a little smoke rising up from the top of its little head. It lets out a little "phah" and even some more smoke comes out of its mouth again.
Sliding into the trouble, another wynling goes in to check in on its friend. An again with the head slams, it bulls its way into the arena. And SLAM! It knocks Argos on the chin, causing the elf to throw his head back upward. The pain stings. The wynling snickers, although visible now, it's triumphant. "Not so bright are you now!"It chortles.
Looking around these three are the only wynlings to be found. The others... well you know they're out there. Their laughter bids portentously.
@Macario
Into the room you go as the shadow mastiff follows you absentmindedly. It snuggles against you leg, whining that something is wrong. But nothing is. The room is just the way you left it. Except it isn't. The ashes of the burnt gloves aren't there. Nor is the scuff mark. But there sure isn't the mimic chest that's for sure.
The room's decor, as you now have time to actually take in, share the same designs as Argos's room. The bed, the fireplace, and ... the paintings. The one hanging above the bed is of a cat chasing a rodent in a sort of yin-yang type of way. There is another of the classic waterfall that is next door to the hotel. Another depicts an abstract view of the mountains and of the town of Amzit. The last: splotches of white on a black canvas. But these splotches- they swirl.
The dog takes in the room with a low howl. It snorts and puts its head down to the floor, tail raised. You look back for your scimitar and shield by your door and they are just the way you found it. Except the scimitar, you find had some sort of tingle when you touch it. Shadows wisp out from its dark obsidian blade as you touch it. You just feel Sesisah's magic flow into you. The warmth of home.
The mask would be just in the drawer where you put it, and you would get it, if you didn't hear giggles.
"Not so fast, buddy boy."
((Added a scimitar of wounding to your inventory))

mold earth to try and give it a boost. "may noth shelter you, friend"
"Agh stupid little mosquito..." Argos got back into position. "They're small but pack quite a punch..." He said rubbing his chin.
Argos then looked at the one he hit. "You're dead, however." He said as he swung his staff at it (Wynling M). (Rolled 15 to hit, but I think I pressed the smaller damage thing that showed below the normal one for a 5-)
Macario feels the familiarity of the magic in this scimitar. Not quite the one he'd grown used to, but close enough. Hearing the voice of one of the wynlings, but still seeing nothing, he quickly dons his shield and goes for the mask before anything else can distract him.
[[ Action to don the shield, object interaction to open the drawer and grab the mask. ]]
Cracks open between the wooden planks of the floor. Shaking, the barghert looks at you with fear. Molding the earth causes the floors to shake as those crack give way towards small hills within the ballroom. "Whoa!"
"Thank you. Why?"Righty holds to the floor, trying to stable itself. The energy within the door crackles. The wood and dirt raises up with springs of snaking tree roots. It is almost there. It can reach it-
"Not so fast." A snarl. Another dimension door opens up from near the chandelier and the other barghert jumps out. From its momentum it smacks down onto the other barhert-who-looks-like-you-now and knocks it off its feet, pushing it off entirely off its hill.
Stepping on his chest, Lefty growls. Righty yelps, putting its hands up. "It's me!"
Lefty steps back, surprised.
"I know."Then it leans in and bites down the neck of the second barghert. "Every man for himself."Muffled. Righty gurgles, reaching its hand up as its throat. The first bites down harder. The hand falls limp to the floor. Then Lefty looks over to you. "Want some more?"

Eduardo jumps back, nearly stepping on the one that fell to the floor, clutching his bat tighter when Agros got hit. "Yeesh."He grimaces at the sight of it, "Yeah looks like it. Stupid bugs... monkey things?"
The visible wynlings seem to take offense to that as they make clicking noises with their teeth. Wynling M is totally knocked off guard when Argos smacks it. Its already burnt to a crisp body is sent hurling down after its wings crack. Dead and not being able to fly, it falls down to its death into the branches but instead of smacking into the branches bellow you hear a whoosh and the lighntning blue of an enegry crackle from the sky around sends out an electric strike straight for it and reduces the entire body to just nothing. No ash. Just vanished.
"Haha!" In response to Argos's smack at Wynling M, Eduardo (too concentrated on the wynlings behind him) also whacks one from out the air. He pummels Wynling X who had just attacked Argos and sends it to the floor of the balcony. Almost flatten like a arepa, it angrily twitches before zipping back again. "Can't do that! Can't do that!" It whines. It goes at Argos's knees with a slam, but misses. Fluttering way dizzily ('whowoho') back to its original position. It takes a look at its brethren.
Wynling B stands up against Eduardo's aggression. It slams him headfirst in the chest, causing the tiefling boy to double over and lose his breath. "Oof."He says, winded.
"HOW'D YA LIKE THEM APPLES?!"
Back in the room, Macario inspects the drawers and finds the hidden mask just where he'd put it. The giggles of the wynings float through the air. Taking out his shield and donning it, he goes and grabs the mask. The mask's energy surges within him and he feels its call. 'Put me on.' 'Put me on.'The voice flows like a warm river. You feel it start molding to your grip as it its almost malleable, like clay. But yet-
"EHEHEHE!"
A wynling shrieks. An invisible force takes your mask and dances with it, spinning it about in the air. "Surprisesssss!"This time it is a slam to the stomach. A second wynling (a yellow one) shows up while the mask still floats in the air. "Neneneneneh can't catch me!"It laughs as it blows a raspberry at you.
You see the floating mask just inching away like as if someone with tiny legs is trying to walk out. It only gets so far as to when the shadow mastiff, who had followed into the room with you, leaps and takes a hold of the invisible caper. "GAh! GAHHH!" The invisible one shrieks again. You can't see it you can likely tell it is squirming as each time some of the drool of the dog spills it has to adjust its paws strength. "FOUL BEAST!!!" The mask is still in its grip.
Reeling from the slam to the stomach, Macario stands back upright and notices the mastiff wrestling something invisible. Content that the mask is safe for now, he draws his magical scimitar and slashes at the other creature that hit him (24 to hit, 5 slashing damage), opening a deep cut across its stomach as shadows briefly flare around the blade and then surge back towards the creature.
[[ Beginning of its turn it takes another 3 points of necrotic damage, then must make a DC 15 CON save to recover from the scimitar's wound. Then, it must make a DC 13 CON save or take another 3 necrotic damage from Macario's Halo of Spores reaction.

Argos looked a bit. "Alright..."
He hopped on the horse "Give us a moment... Something REAL cool is going to happen for your game if you just wait!"
Argos proceeded to cast shield of faith on the horse
@Macario and Argos
Magic trick! Magic trick! Real cool. Real Cool." They watch eagerly for your next move until they see it is a trick, then they yelp. "No!" The ones farthest-most make a B-line towards you.
"No fair!" They start encircling you two.
@Brodir
((ohhhh))
Righty edges closer. Your Ice Knife seizes the moment and hits it straight in the face. It doubles back in sheer pain. It howls. The knife slices right through their side of their eye. It would make a cool scar, but that is not on what its mind now. The blood seeps from the wound. Upon hitting, the knife shatters into pieces everywhere. it also took on more damage. The right barhgert shivers. The left one doesn't. Its voice is like a hyena as it cackles. Righty doesn't seem to enjoy that.

The horse's movement speed is 60 ft. which gets it the 10 ft. running start, 40 ft. gap, and 10 ft. from the edge on the other side, and finally, disengage means none of the wynlings would get attacks of opportunity as I leave their threatened areas! ;)
]]
(Argos had a small possibility of covering his eyes during that jump-)

@Argos and Macario
"Liar! Liar!" They scream and shout.
"AH MAKE IT STOP! MAKE IT STOP!" They cry out. The wynlings are now frightened for this whole round, meaning they won't move from the space they are now (also they have disadvantage). So too now is Eduardo as he ducks to block out the noise (as if that helps).
ROUND 1 BEGINS
((Sorry this round looks a bit weird. I am still borrowing my aunt's computer and running combat over it feels weird since I can't save stuff to the computer and started using tableplop which is a new program so that's why the wynling names are all weird))
@Brodir
You, despite bleeding, manage to throw off the the attacking braghert. The snarling canine yelps as it topples over and down. On impact it hits its head, which is shakes with a growl. "Follow the frozen line?" Its eyes widen. It limps forward. "What does that mean?"
"Nothing! It means nothing!" Lefty stares sharply at you, baring its teeth. "It's tricking us." It turns its head over to its pal then back again. "It's throwing us off- off our scent." With a straight pointed tail and hackles raised, it comes after you. "And we don't like to be tricked." It rushes towards you.
Suddenly the bargherts just drop to the ground. In thud, they don't even find time to breathe as Righty jumps up and steps back with a whimper. "What was that?" Lefty gets up slowly. "I have some matters to attend to."
"Finish it."
And with that Lefty's gone. Righty hesistates, blinks, then looks back at you. It charges.
It completely misses.

Argos climbed off. (Sorry I took long, had to get ready for a college thing)
"Woah, I would call that thing a good boy."
Edit: (Didn't realize we were in battle, can I skip after Argos got off of the horse?)
@Brodir
It nods.
"Charge the lines." Flopping down on its hind legs, it howls.
@Macario and Argos
"Thanks- I- I can't-" The shadow mastiff lunges.
The wynlings, immediately thrown off by your position resetting ("Why are you running away? Why are you running away?"), start flapping their wings rapidly. Upon seeing that you reached the edge unscathed, they growl and hiss. This chatter soon becomes a resounding cacophony of laughter. "Hehehe! Oheheheh! Hehehe!" One by one the wynlings turn invisible. They are out of sight, but not out of mind. You hear roaring laughter even from within your own heads. It is relentless. The buzzing green void round you begins to pulsate, turning to rapid vibrant brilliant colors of light green to lightning blue.

Argos is readying Guiding Bolt (I didn't see any conditions)
"Erm... Hi?" He said to Eduardo.
@Brodir
((ohhhh!
With a shaky breathe, the barghert sniffs the air then shouts, "We need to get out of here!" It frowns, then looks away. In a huff, it starts beginning to pile chairs and tables together to try and reach.
@Argos and Macario
He nods, "Got it." His hands reach for his bat.
He turns his head over to Argos with a slight scowl. Quickly he goes to hide it. Waving, "Oh. Hey." an awkward same way back at you.
"Whoa! Thank you! Man, you keep surprising me with that." He playfully punches the druid. "Shouldn't have called you stuffy." Macario leaves to go inside the room.
"NAHNANANAH." It sounds like a child repeatedly yelling "nah" at its parents, except instead of cute, it comes at Agros with the full force of a bull at a moving target.
"Not so bright are you now!" It chortles.
Looking around these three are the only wynlings to be found. The others... well you know they're out there. Their laughter bids portentously.
@Macario

@Brodir
Cracks open between the wooden planks of the floor. Shaking, the barghert looks at you with fear. Molding the earth causes the floors to shake as those crack give way towards small hills within the ballroom. "Whoa!"
"Thank you. Why?" Righty holds to the floor, trying to stable itself.
"I know." Then it leans in and bites down the neck of the second barghert. "Every man for himself." Muffled. Righty gurgles, reaching its hand up as its throat. The first bites down harder. The hand falls limp to the floor. Then Lefty looks over to you. "Want some more?"
@Argos and Macario
Eduardo jumps back, nearly stepping on the one that fell to the floor, clutching his bat tighter when Agros got hit. "Yeesh." He grimaces at the sight of it, "Yeah looks like it.
"Oof." He says, winded.
'Put me on.' 'Put me on.' The voice flows like a warm river. You feel it start molding to your grip as it its almost malleable, like clay. But yet-
"EHEHEHE!"
A wynling shrieks. An invisible force takes your mask and dances with it, spinning it about in the air. "Surprisesssss!" This time it is a slam to the stomach. A second wynling (a yellow one) shows up while the mask still floats in the air. "Neneneneneh can't catch me!" It laughs as it blows a raspberry at you.
You see the floating mask just inching away like as if someone with tiny legs is trying to walk out. It only gets so far as to when the shadow mastiff, who had followed into the room with you, leaps and takes a hold of the invisible caper. "GAh! GAHHH!" The invisible one shrieks again.
