[[ The Pass Without Trace is coming from Necyra right? But she also has Conjure Animals up too. Wouldn't that be two different concentration spells? Or is there a mechanic I'm missing that lets Necyra do one of those without concentration? ]]
If Necyra must drop Pass Without Trace, we can give everyone who has Stealth 14 or higher (Nothic Passive Perception 13) a surprise round, so roll init and stealth and if you score 14 or higher then you can take your surprise round turn right away before I post the init list.
Good luck, this is a big fight. I'm excited to see what happens.
Necyra wants to keep her conjured giant bats (to be used as blunt force objects in post #357 above), so retcon her casting the Pass without Trace spell. I didn't think to look that both spells required concentration. I think sorcerers can twin concentration spells, but not sure that would work here, so let's just assume she never cast it.
[[ To my understanding, sorcerers can twin concentration spells assuming it follows the other rules of twinned spell. Hence things like twinned haste but both targets in such a case are under the same spell so losing concentration on a twinned concentration spell affects both targets. ]]
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Trystane already rolled earlier (unless that was invalidated by a reason I missed). Ini: 6 and Stealth: 19
Trystane stares down the corridor after the battle, hardly able to contain himself and not run immediately into the next chamber. The ritual chanting can't be a good omen, they must hurry if they want to save all the nobles. By his count there is one still missing. He sneak peeks as stealthily as possible into the next chamber, when it becomes clear that the others will follow.
Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
Necyra's crimson eyes scan the scene's threats. A flicker of recognition crosses her face as she realizes the chanting cultists are performing some sort of ritual, their hands raised in a gesture that echoes the dark rituals she has encountered in her past. Necyra, moving with swift precision, unfurls her wings, propelling her upward until she hovers just beneath the room's ceiling. With a quiet but determined voice, she whispers a short command to all 16 of her summoned Giant Bats: "Dive bomb attack the leader!"
The bats, obedient to their mistress' will, silently fly over to directly above the cultist leader (aka "mage"), and at top speed, and dive towards the evil mage with a fury that belies their diminutive size. Their tiny bodies impact with surprising force, like a rainstorm of flesh and bone, slamming into the mage causing blunt force damage [Necyra has commanded her bats to airstrike the leader].
Giant Bats are actually large creatures, ie. each one of them four times as big as the mage.
Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
Trystane hugs the northern wall running for 10-15 feet and then jumps onto the northeastern platform (20 feet) next to the first Nothic there. In a flurry of slashing claws he attempts to take it out. (He might take an instance or two spike growth damage).
Action: 1) Unarmed Strike @N, hit 23 for 10 magical slashing damage and 3 lightning damage 2) Unarmed Strike @N, hit 22 for 9 magical bludgeoning damage and 1 lightning damage Bonus: 3) Unarmed Strike @N, hit 21 for 9 magical bludgeoning damage and 2 lightning damage

My bad, I did miss this. Only Talorin will miss out on the surprise round, but he goes first at the top of init so it works out. And 30 foot tall ceilings , and sure I'll allow large bats to dive bomb from the sky (maybe we discuss this on the PM and set some limitations). I'll give everyone the chance to post surprise round and Necyra and Talorin gets to post top of round too.
OOC: Surprise round attacks have been completed by Necyra (post #357), Trystane (post #366), and Yurgojin (post #367). I think we're waiting for Bridgette and Mysleen to post their Round 0 actions.

OOC: Sorry it took me so long to post. I kinda forgot about this thread and just didn't post.
Mysleen takes in the sheer amount of enemies, saying, "Ay yi yi. That’s quite the crowd, huh?" She takes to the air, then plays a quick tune on her lute before casting hold person at the 5th level. M1, CF1, CF2, and CF3 must all succeed on a DC 17 Wis save or become paralyzed. (If they're all within 30 feet of each other.)

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
The mage, directing the epic level ritual, to transfer energy from their prisoner to Vecna across planes, is interrupted when the mage is killed in the surprise round!
Just as the combat is beginning, a riot of silvery-purple energy fills the room. You feel a sense of space tearing open—then you’re falling, and everything goes dark.
Around the world and across the planes, you perceive innumerable cults of Vecna. They snatch away people and strip their secrets in rituals like the one you stopped. Behind them, the withered form of Vecna gathers the secrets like threads, adding them to a glowing sphere of hidden knowledge in some impossibly distant place. The vision fades into darkness, leaving only Vecna’s glaring left eye.
Your body, spirit, and soul are sundered, ripped from this world and shunted into another plane.
Having been force teleported across rifts and planes by an epic level ritual, unbeknownst to Vecna, you have gained a permanant power as one who is Blessed by Vecna. This Blessing is called Vecna's Link.
Vecna’s Link. You gain a special intuition for secrets. You have advantage on Wisdom (Insight) checks. In addition, you can use an action to cast See Invisibility without expending a spell slot. Once you cast that spell in this way, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
When the spinning has stopped, each of you find yourself trapped inside a coffin with ghouls prowling close by. For those of you who can escape your coffin, you find yourself in a 40 foot deep excavated pit, filled with ghouls and coffins.
Make a Charisma Save DC 15 to find that your coffin lid is covered but not nailed shut
Athletics Check DC 20 to break free from a nailed coffin in a single action
Coffin has 12 hitpoints and damage resistance all except for slashing or fire
Crowbar, hammer, shovel, or another steel tool used from outside the coffin can open a lid in a single action
Talorin finds himself pausing for a moment. Ripped from home. Surrounded by ghouls. Inside a coffin. Did they just... die? And what about Tiny? Or Yurgojin's mastiffs? Who was going to take of them? Reflexively he pushes against the coffin.
Athletics: 5+2 = 7 Yearning to break free he dips into the divine within to thrust forwards better. [[ Magical Guidance, expend 1 sorcery point to reroll ]] Athletics: 6+2 = 8
Charisma Save: 13+10 = 23
Well at least it wasn't nailed. He'd get out soon enough.
[[ Or is it just an item interaction if not nailed? ]]

Not Nailed, you get lucky and it's just movement to get out. The ghouls are approaching and more than 30 feet away from your coffins. It must be a super huge pit to hold eight coffins and eighteen ghouls and to have enough space to move around. No dimensions but it's a big open area, surrounded by a deep earth wall.
