"Looks like there's another stone chest... wait, it's not a chest... it's a coffin." Zarbyn whispers just loud enough for those nearby to hear.
Zarbyn will have Twiggy fly over and have a look at the coffin. After a visual inspection Zarbyn will relay anything of relevance.

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Twiggy stays safe by flying fairly close to the roof while Vydar moves forward with Lira nearby. As Vydar climbs the steps for a closer look at the stone coffin, it is clear the the lid is ajar. Twiggy does not see any contents inside the coffin from her range.
The hairs on the back of Vydars neck rise as he senses something behind him. The air in the chamber grows colder.
At the same time, Lira sees her appear at the bottom of the stage. An ethereal child ghost materializes and begins to move toward the closest pillar to the double doors.
Lev isn't about to let anyone move forward without him, staying close with those who decided to head deeper into the chamber.
Perception: 19
He grits his teeth at the mention of a coffin. There is more than just one thing that he doesn't like about this place. Elegant as it may have been it is a chamber of darkness, one that seems to have endured through the ages.
Lev sees the ethereal child float or walk toward the grand double doorway. She does not seem to see him, nor the others near the doorway as she moves.
In her hands she carries a head. Like her, the head is transparent, but he can make out that the head is that of a male, with braided black beard, long hair, and blue turban. At this point, Lev realizes he has not taken a breath as he remains motionless.
Lira notes that the ghost first appeared somewhere ahead of her (maybe near the section of ice north of her current location.)
Amdaeng sees the ghost slowly move toward her location, and the skeletal beheaded body lying on the floor in front of the pillar. Around the exterior of the room, there is a pathway 10 feet wide if any wish to avoid the icy shallow rectangular pools.
As Lira creeps forward, still keeping one eye on the traveling child ghost that moves across the great hall, she gets to the pools edge. The water is only over a foot in depth and covered by a thin layer of ice. Again, Lira realizes that she does not really notice how cold it is in this place. In the pool she sees nothing at first. Then she sees what appear to be bones. Well, not bones exactly, skulls.
The ghost moves to the first pillar and another ethereal ghostly headless body of a full-sized human or elf appears, lying on the ground. Decorative armor and a red rotted cloak surround the figure.
The child carries a skull head, yet, it still has some of its human features. A black braided beard, a blue turban wrapped around its top, some black hair coming out the back. As she gets to the pillar, she places the head on the prone body.
"Ah, is she raising undead?" Lira murmurs in surprise, noticing the prone skeleton get up. It doesn't seem to be attacking yet, but she worries they'll be overwhelmed if the girl keeps handing out skulls.
"Um, no! Stop, please!" She steps toward the ghost girl, holding her hands up in a nonthreatening posture.
The ghost does not seem to see you at all and does not respond. She slowly floats back toward Lira and the pool of skulls with the frozen surface. Humming while she moves.
Iólinder followed the others into the room. It was big and imposing, as befitting a throne room for someone with the sultan's ego. And it was cold. Iólinder could see his breath leaving his mouth as a cold vapor. It almost made him feel like he was back outside in the open mountains trudging along in the snow. The frozen over pools of water to the sides of the rooms only strengthened the feeling.
Then it happened. Iólinder did not know why but he had a feeling it was bound to happen anyway ever since he first saw the ghost girl. Here in the throne room she appeared, fading into existence as it were, but unlike the previous times she now held something in her hands. A human head, Iólinder noted with some disturbance. At first he thought it must have been the girl's mother's head, as the story went, but the head was that of a male with a beard, long hair and an blue turban.
'Is that one of the guards that was beheaded?' Iólinder asked. He was not sure if he was asking the girl, the others or himself to confirm. More likely he just spoke to keep his mind occupied, lest he turned around and ran. The girl put the head on the headless skeleton near a pillar and said something. A word Iólinder did not understand but it made the skeleton rise up. Necromancy? Was the first thought that crossed Iólinder's mind.
'We are here to help.' Iólinder said to the girl before realising how weird it sounded out loud when said to a ghost. 'Vydar,'Iólinder looked past the girl and addressed the dark elf wizard, 'you know the ancient tongue: tell her.'
As the girl passes Lira, she reaches through the frozen ice, and pulls out another head, similarly attired with blue turban. Lira notes that the skulls under the surface have not moved, and the surface of ice still remains unbroken as the ghost reaches through the ice, and removes the head.
She begins to head toward the first pillar on the south (left side)(closest to the door). As she moves closer, another body begins to appear near that pillar, still transparent, headless.
(OOC: The skeleton warrior that has been assembled is ethereal, it does not move after it stands)
Feeling the hair on his neck rise, Vydar instinctively spins around. He watches as the phantom child floats to and fro, unable to speak for a few seconds.
One.
He hears the word the ghost spoke. This is the girl from the story. He stands frozen as the skeleton rises. When Iolinder calls out to him, he briefly glances at the half-elf before looking back at the girl. Seriously? He’s probably the worst person to put in charge of negotiations, but it seems like he’s the only one who can even try.
Forcing himself to speak, he addresses the ghost using the ancient speech.
“Wait! Uh, we are not your enemies. We don’t want to fight you. I-If anything we’d like to help you…if you’ll let us.”
Lira finds the bucket empty. The rope has long rotted she concludes it best use a new rope, as she fears the rope will break and the bucket be lost. She can see dark water 30 feet below.
The girl seems not to hear Vydar, nor look at him or anyone. She seems to have no awareness of her surroundings, almost as if this sequence of events have happened countless times.
The girl passes through any in her path, and approaches the second body, placing the head on it. "Hoyr"

Those near the doorway see the girl floating diagonal from north east to south west.
At the first pillar they see a skeletal body, minus its head, lying on the ground. It is barely perceptible.
Amdaeng pets Ning, " Best stay in there. This is not a good place."
She began to slowly move into the room, up to the first pillar.
Lira notes that the ghost first appeared somewhere ahead of her (maybe near the section of ice north of her current location.)

Amdaeng remains still, watching the spectral figure approach...
Lira and Zazi will approach where the spirit first appeared, looking for anything of note around or in the icy pool to the north.

"One"
She turns and beings floating back toward the pool of heads.
As she does so, the prone skeleton rises. It is armed with a scimitar and crossbow. It appears to still be transparent. (15 feet from Amdaeng).
Then she begins humming. The only noise in the large room, it seems to echo off of the ancient walls.

Seeing that the girl shows no sign of stopping, Lira thinks back to the story. It ended when the girl found...
"The mother's head, in the well!"
She dashes over to the well and reluctantly looks into the bucket. If it is empty she will try lowering it to see how deep the hole goes.
