Leaning against one of the walls of the station stood a figure that stuck out like a sore thumb. Even in a big city with people of all kinds she was sure to be noticed, a drow dressed from head to toe in black with a revolver that looked to big for someone of her stature on her hip. From beneath the brim of her hat, reddish purple eyes scanned the platform for a certain Doctor or those she was supposed to work with to complete the job.
Having only a vague description she will leave her position against the wall and begin to slowly make her way through the station to keep a look out for Dr. Bailey. Perhaps she had gotten there to early but it was better to be early then end up running late.
"Here's the tickets, so at least we get a free ride if the good doctor doesn't show." Modoc will hand out the tickets to his two compatriots and unknowingly gives Eirikur two tickets.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Pulling the brim of her hat lower as she walks, Hyalithza begins to put more effort into looking for anyone that seems out of place... Other then herself that is.
Hyalithza please roll perception and anyone else who have not rolled yet.
OOC: I rolled one yesterday with the others and since it was also a 9, same as Gaelan, I figured I didn't see anything either.
IC: Eirikur holds up the second ticket so that Gaelan and Modoc can see, confusion clearly written on Eirikur's face. "Why did Mr. Harrington give us an extra ticket?" He asks, not really expecting either of them to have the answer.
Hyalithza easily picks up the party as they seem to be pondering something. Not too far away is Dr. Bailey standing with his luggage. By his expression you get the sense he believes in the adage arriving early is on time; on time is late; late is unacceptable.
Guessing who he is by the description she had been given, Hyalithza slowly makes her way towards Dr. Bailey. She easily steps around other people in the station, paying no attention to what the random passerbys do. "Dr. Bailey I reckon? Been sent to make sure you stay safe."
"Finally, we can leave. My invention is being loaded into the Freight Car. I need 2 of you to keep an eye on it" he seems impatient even though the train does not leave for another 20 minutes. He immediately moves towards the train platform not looking behind to see if any of you are coming. There you finally lay eyes on the Hellstromme Express. Streamlined in brass and steel. Equipped with a ghost rock boiler. There is a menacing air around the train as you hear the muffled wailing. For a moment it sounds like the wailing of a thousand souls lamenting their fate as they burn.
Dr. Bailey stops and hands over to the party a sealed glass jar with a brown viscous substance inside. "Apply it liberally to the train pistons underneath the steam engine. By liberally I mean use all of it and spread it evenly. Whatever you do don't let anyone see you. Come back to me when you are done"
Modoc will nod to Hyalitha and looks to Eirikur and Gaelan, "Want me to go talk to them about the train? I am honestly curious about it all. And I assume we want them in one piece for our trip."
Eirikur nods to Modoc in agreement and then looks to Gaelan invite along the new member of the team. He glowers with some frustration by the addition of another mercenary that Mr. Harrington neglected to inform him about, when several lives depend on it. Hire us to do a job, then hire someone else to do the same job and not tell us? A fine example of how people with soft hands and wing-tipped shoes get good people killed, Mr. Harrington.
"I suppose that leaves me to your request then." He looks at Dr. Bailey. "Dr. Bailey, you will accompany me to the freight car to oversee the loading of your invention. I would like you to be with Gaelan, Modoc, or myself at all times, even to the privy. I don't know the new person Mr. Harrington hired and while I am sure he vetted her completely, I would not be willing to wager the significant sum of money were are being paid, or your life, on trusting someone I don't know just yet."
He looks to the drow and shrugs. "No offense intended."
"Do what yall want as long as it don't come between me and my pay. I'll be keeping my eye on you and if I'm half ad smart as I think I am you'll do the same. Now best we get that stuff spread over the train so we can keep the good doc satisfied with our services." Hyalithza says, nodding to those that had been more polite while simply, looking over Eirikur with a neutral gaze.
"So what can yall do to not be seen by anyone? I have an idea with some of my natural talents but it may cause a commontion. Perhaps one of you has an idea for a distraction?"
"I'm sure we can work together to all get paid. I am not to quiet type. I tend to stand out." Modoc gestures at his tall frame and long horns. "What do you have in mind, Hyalithza?"

Modoc and Gaelen do not see Dr. Bailey. Though the clerk gives 4 tickets to Modoc that was placed under Mr. Harrington's name.

"Maybe it is for the doctor?" Modoc shrugs.

"That there looks like the professor fella we're supposed to be guarding." Gaelan gestures towards the man and moves in his direction.
OOC: Assuming we eventually see the guy.

Dr. Bailey snaps close his gold pocket watch. "Good you here on time now where are the others? They better not be late"
I will assume Hyalithza will gather the nearby party members.
"Finally, we can leave. My invention is being loaded into the Freight Car. I need 2 of you to keep an eye on it" he seems impatient even though the train does not leave for another 20 minutes. Working in the train cab is the engineer and boilerman. To apply the viscous substance, they must be handled or distracted.
Modoc will nod to Hyalitha and looks to Eirikur and Gaelan, "Want me to go talk to them about the train? I am honestly curious about it all. And I assume we want them in one piece for our trip."
Gaelan nods to Hyalithza and tips his hat, "I presume you're here to help keep an eye on Mr. Professor here?"
He grabs the container and puts it in his pocket, "Come on then, we got works to do." and gestures towards the engine.
