Doctor Bailey seems tired aggravated "This trip has not gone as planned at all and it has been one disaster after another. By my calculations we should be entering Kansas soon. I have heard this area by the border is a lawless place where many travelers are never heard from again. I uses to think I would be safe on a train, but this trip so far has proven otherwise. In my bag I have several healing items. Here take them."
He gives everyone 5 healing potions each otherwise known as I.C.E devices.
Dr. Bailey has a worried look on his face.
He gestures everyone to lean in closer as he whispers "Don't ask me how but I believe there is a dangerous group who may pay us a visit. They call themselves Ravenites and they are not your typical banditry or thug. They are discipline and organized. You see from time to time I do some consulting work as a way to challenge myself and to make sure I never become complacent. I was inspired by what I saw, and it played a step in me picking up alchemy. Though that job ended badly as crossed a man that I believed to be rather beneath me. A repugnant Mr. Casara"
He takes an envelope out of his bag with a wax seal on it. "I found this envelope in my bag just now and I know I did not have it before we boarded the train as I am a meticulous packer." he runs his fingers across his head "Maybe it's a prank but let's just be safe than sorry"
Those that pass see a human figure silhouetted behind the blind covering the train window right next to where you are meeting with Dr. Bailey. As if someone is eavesdropping from outside the train window.
IC: Thankfully, Gaelan is far more observant than Eirikur and his head snaps up to see the silhouette. Immediately Eirikur rushes outside in the hopes of catching the eavesdropper.
"I just had enough of them scientists and their constant meddlin with stuff. Needed break before I felt the urge to strangle em." Hylizatha says as she takes a spot by the crates, leaning against the wall. Taking this chance she reloads her revolver fully, half expecting for Dr. Bailey to cause another incident.
"You need to knock on wood right now! That is the most foolish damn thing ya can say. Just asking for for something to go wrong when you say that." Hyliztha says to him as she grips her revolver tighter, now on edge from what Modoc said. She really hoped that it would not jinx them.
As Erikur rushes outside only to find the eavesdropping person is gone as if they vanished into thin air. Plastered to the window by the rain is a raven's feather.
Eirikur grumbles to himself, not at all surprised by this revelation. He expected it the moment he started rushing out the door. He reaches out to grab the feather and holds it before him. In an act of extreme defiance, he spits on the feather before releasing it into the rain. As he returns to the cab, he feels a strong sense of satisfaction and an eager anticipation of what that perceived blaspheme might earn him later. The feeling sets his teeth on edge and he can barely contain his excitement when he returns to the worried doctor. He smothers the feeling though, not wanting to further worry the doctor with his provocations of assassins.
Dr. Bailey is perturbed as he sees Erikur rushing out and walking back in. His brow is furrowed and has a worried expression on his face "What did you find out there?"
His tone is soft and almost hopeful that Erikur would say there is nothing to worry about.

From the outside of the train. Like outside the window.
Modoc looks up as Hylizatha enters and gives her a nod. "What did Dr. Bailey say? Or did Eirikur ask you to join me?"
"Well ain't that somethin. We got a hanger on there on the outside the train." Gaelan points out the figure to the Doctor and the group.

In the Freight Car Father Anselam has a bemused grin as he looks to Modoc and Hyliztha as if this some kind of farce.
Modoc and Hyliztha please roll perception DC 17
on pass you see Father Anselam testing the strength of the manacles on him in search of an exploitable weak point.
That's an 8 for Modoc's perception. He's distracted as he knocks on a wooden crate.
Eirikur shrugs apologetically. "An odd bush."

Hylizatha fails to pay the bound priest much attention, her focus on the conversation she had been having with Modoc.
