"the people I am looking for most certainly exist, though possibly not for long after I find them. The Bastard sons of Loki who operate under the sigil of a Black Eagle will pay for their actions." The jolly giant gets unusually grim and a true rage flashes in his eyes as he speaks before turning back to tending to the cooking bear.
"You could say I'm looking for redemption," he says in answer to Eidren, his one eye for a moment looking furious before settling back into a normal gaze. "I guess the gods have other plans for us."

DM: You now have a little bit of time for your characters to get to know each other a little better, unless you are fine as you are.
"So," Asgrim says as he sits against the back of a tree, sharpening one of his axes, "what brings you lot to these parts?"

Eidren looks up from his crystal. Tucks it back away. “I was hired to do a job. You?”
As Leif tends to his bruises, he also asks the one-eyed warrior after Eidren answered his question.
"I'm curious too. For me, I am looking for a group of people whose purpose may or may not even exist."

Eidren looks to gothazar, his eyes wander down to the roasting bear meat. His stomach grumbles.
“How long you gonna roast that bear for? We planning to eat anytime soon?”
Eidren starts packing up his gear preparing to head out after they have a quick snack.
"Do you want perfectly cooked bear snacks or not?"

OOC: ooh the bear is not half bad
Eidren takes a helping of the bear meat. Expecting hard ash, was pleasantly surprised with the tender juicy flesh. He smiles and nods to Gothazar.
“Well, shall we?”
"I thought you would never say, I feel like we have been resting for four days not just an hour or so. I am eager to get onto this next leg of the adventure so I may continue on my own."
Finishing the bear meat, Asgrim stands and rolls his shoulders, and gave them a savage grin. "Shall we be off, then?"

While the group are still talking to each other, Leif waves far away from them.
"Last one to the Maw of Njörðr must buy us a round of ale."
The sea elf runs as fast as his feet can take him towards the cave.

Leif grabs his grappling hook and attaches it to the rope on his side and asks the rest.
"Anyone who was a rope to spare? I need another one to tie it on the other end so we can safely climb down to the cave's entrance below."
"of course" Gothazar offers up his 50 ft of hempen rope
OOC: more importantly who made it to the cave last?
