As Gothazar and Asgrim enter the tavern, they see it is quite empty, with just one patron sitting at a table. The bartender doesn't seem to notice them as they walk in.
While others are doing their own stuff, Leif starts making his potion on a cauldron. He slowly stirs it using a large wooden spoon and starts chanting words like imbuing it with an evil curse.
"Double, double, toil and trouble 🎶
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.🎶
Bru-hi-hi-hi-hi, BRU-HI-HI-HI-HI!"
He stares at the elder as he starts laughing hysterically for the rest of the day.

Eidren's parents look at each other, then back at him. His grandfather replies, "It was long ago, only a hundred years after the Elves split into the factions of Light and Dark. By that time, the Dark Elves hadn't been banished out of Aflheim, but the two were very separate." His grandma then starts, "It was forbidden for anyone from the opposite group to meet, but we had met accidentally."
Eidren's grandfather continues, "But we continued to meet, and we fell in love. When the two factions came to prosecute us, we refuses to be separated." "Oh yes, but they went to the All-Father Odin, and asked him to trap us in separate crystals. Seeing a chance to calm the rage of the two factions, and accepted. They say that agreeing to imprison us was the last thing the factions could agree on."
Eidren's intersects "Odin had one condition, he could choose the location of the crystals. No one understood why, or cared. Now that we are together, we would like to give you something."
Eidren's grandparents hold out there arms. In his grandfather's arms appears a rapier, made of the same lights he was, and bow appears in his grandmother's arms. They float to Eidren, and start to crumble into dust. The dust swirls around him, then absorbs into his arms and hands.
They say in unison, "We bestow upon you our blessing. From now on, we will help you in combat. We promise you, we will do everything in our power to keep you and those you love from separating."

Eidren looks at the spirits of his family. “How is this possible?”

Eidren accepts the weapons. He bows and thanks his family. “I promise I won’t let you down. I will take revenge on those that did this to you.”
He bids farewell for now to his family and tucks the crystals back away inside his cloak, then enters a sleep like trance until the morning.
As you all wake up, the breeze chills you. The clouds block the sun, giving the day a gloomy look.
DM: Are there any last minute preparations you guys would like to make?
Added the four Bottle, Glass and Potion of Healing in inventory.
Eidren heads down for breakfast. He’s awake and eating before anyone else is awake.
When the others arrive, he silently nods to them and continues eating.
"Spring just came but the morning sun can't be seen with these clous hanging on the sky. This is quite an ominous weather we're having today."
Leif takes a quick breakfast before heading out.
"I'll be out for a few minutes, have to stock up some rations for our journey. Don't worry, I'll come back by the time we depart."
Leif will buy 10 Rations (1 day) costing 5 gp. I'll deduct the expenses on his current money.
