Chase tilts her head, unconvinced. "And what if I wanted to give the bad ones a good jolt? Maybe… Evocation, then?" Her tail flicks at the thought, and she can't help but wonder what it would feel like to jolt that pig-masked girl.
Isy doesn't want to play against Scratch. "I'll join that group over there, and you can join this one. Then maybe we can both win!" She blows on her dandelion 2 and steps up to the group.
The man looks at Chasewith a concerned look and says, "Well, almost all schools of magic have a way of hurting people. But these spells are meant to let you have more fun at the carnival. The Evocation section on the wheel will give you the Dancing Lights spell and allow you to summon 4 little balls of light. Even the Necromancy section is a harmless minor curse spell."
After Isyand Scratch blow on their dandelions and join the other contestants, they are divided into groups of three. While being divided the lady says, "In this game the eldest begins, rhyming phrases while running widdershins! The rhymes continue around the circle, it's not alchemy, it's just that simple. The game ends for you if you take a tumble, or if your mind decides to bumble. The last one standing will win today, now without further ado, are you ready to play?"
In Isy'sgroup there is a 14-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy. Scratch's group there is a 5-year-old boy and his 25-year-old father. You see some of the other groups begin to run backwards in a circle counterclockwise and begin rhyming. The eldest in Isy'sgroup starts the rhymes with, "I saw a bird in a tree" while the eldest in Scratch's group begins with, "Looking up at the stars." As the beginning phrase is chosen you all begin to run around in your circles. It's now your turn to rhyme... but what will you say?
[Since we are PBP and you can spend as much time as you want coming up with a rhyme, we are just going to be making Charisma checks for the rhyme as well as Dexterity checks to remain upright while running widdershins. Once it is determined that you have succeeded or failed you can write in your rhyme. If you have succeeded your checks and can only come up with a fake word to rhyme, then you also need to come up with the definition OOC and that word will become canon.]
Scratch doesn't like that it's going to become difficult — or impossible — to keep an eye on Isy while playing this game, but he decides to give it a go. At least there's an adult in her group.
Lex is fascinated by the magic wheel. He stops and asks about each one, while Chaseand Illuwen wait in line behind him, mostly unaware that he is taking too long on his turn. “Ooh, and you even have necromancy? I remember a thing my parents made and sold in the shop, I think it was called a Whisperskull? It would light up its eyes with green fire and play a message when you…” he kept on and on until finally he realized the others standing behind him, and pulled the lever, trying to land on Transmutation, as he thought his brother and parents would be impressed if he came back to them with new abilities.
Lexconcentrates hard as his hands rest on the lever. He is watching that Transmutation section like a hawk, waiting for the perfect moment. Suddenly, he yanks back on the lever and the wheel stops on... [Make a Wisdom Check]
Scratch, running near perfect widdershins, is definitely scratching his brain for a rhyme here. His need to keep an eye on Isy may be distracting him just a bit. Luckily, he pulls a rhyme out of thin air just in time. [Post your rhyme]
Isymanages to come up with a rhyme on the spot, but her feet seem to not be able to keep up with her brain. As one foot moves back into the next position the other foot remains in the way of the first and they collide. [Make a Dex Saving Throw]
Chaseand Illuwenwatch patiently as their friend pulls the lever of the Whell of Magic. What will he get?
Though light on his feet as usual, Scratch's mind is pulled in two directions. The mental vision of lying on his back in the grass with his family laughing and watching the stars twinkle above them is fighting for focus as he continues to throw glances in Isy's direction. But he finally says, "I catch them and put them in jars."
As Isystumbles over her own feet she quickly manages to catch herself and continue on with her rhyme. [Post your rhyme]
Next in Scratch's group is the 5-year-old boy. Unfortunately, he is not as good on his feet and his feline counterpart, and he takes a tumble before he can even get a rhyme out of his mouth. Without missing a beat Scratch and the older man continue running widdershins. The older man manages to stay on his feet and says, "I'm thankful I'm not behind bars."
Though Scratch manages to stay on his feet, his mind is completely distracted from trying to keep an eye on Isy. Try as he might, he cannot think of anything to rhyme! [Make a Charisma Saving Throw]
Isylands her rhyme just as she landed her feat, saving herself just in the nick of time. She is then followed by the 6-year-old boy. He thinks and thinks but can't think of a rhyme. Being distracted by his attempts at rhyming, the boy tumbles down and is out of the game. The 14-year-old girl picks up where the game left off with, "One day it met a bee!"
Watching and waiting, Lextries to pick the perfect moment... not yet... not yet... NOW!! He pulls back on the lever and the wheel screeches to a halt. TRANSMUTATION! The man looks at Lexand says, "Congratulations! For the next hour you have the ability to cast Druidcraft! You can use it to predict the weather, make plants bud or blossum, light candels, torches, or campfires, and even cause leaves to fall and wind to blow. That's a fun one, use it wisely!"
As Lexsteps down, Illuwenis now up for his turn with the wheel. "Alright young man, you're next. The same rules apply and your friend." The wheel begins to spin and spin. He watches the Enchantmentsection of the wheel, waiting for the perfect opportunity. [Make a Wisdom check]
Illuwenwaits for his opportune moment to pull the lever. He yanks back on the lever and watches as it comes to a complete stop. CONJURATION! Unfortunately, Illuwenpulled the lever just a bit too late but at the Wheel of Magic everyone's a winner. "OoOo!Conjurationis one of my favorites! For the next hour you can cast Mage Hand. You ever wish you had an extra hand to help you do more? Well now you've got one!"
He looks over at Chaseand says, "Finally your turn! You know the drill!"
Isyseems to have gotten the hang of running widdershins, but unfortunately her focus is a little unbalanced and she's having a hard time rhyming now! [Make a Charisma Saving throw]

Chase looks a little disappointed, but says "Okaaay, Dancing lights sounds fine. I'll go for Evocation."
