I made some homebrew monsters and while I think I've done the CR calculations correctly, want to get a bit of a test of them before using them with my regular group. And perhaps you also have a monster you'd like to test out.
Since this is geared towards testing out monsters, please do try to use tactics that involve fighting the creature(s) as opposed to something like banishment that side-steps the encounter. Within a regular campaign, those are great solutions. But here the goal is testing their CRs and how they play.
Looking for a 3-person party.
Here are the planned fights.
1: CR 8 vs 3 lv6s.
2: CR 5 legendary and CR 1 vs 3 lv 7s. 3: Young Blue Dragon vs those same 3 lv 7s after a short rest from the prior fight. // 3 isn't a homebrew, but want to make sure I've got a feel for its difficult following the preceding fight
4: CR 12 legendary in his lair vs 3 lv 7s. (lv 7s will all gain a +1 weapon / spellcasting focus) //meant to be at the end of dungeon when used, so 75% hit points, all hit dice spent, and half of long rest resources used. //part of the CR calculation is assuming some offensive capabilities stay up the whole fight when it's quite possible they may not, so could be a lower CR in practice.

I apologize. I've switched my character to a Paladin and made their character sheet public.
The reason my Paladin only has 4 spells prepared is that I couldn't find *Compelled Duel* and *Wrathful Smite*, so I left those slots empty.
