The volley of magical bolts ram against the golem, denting the mechanical being. Its gears whir and whine loudly as they try to push on in its battered state.
"H-H-HOSTILES D-DETECTED, ELIMINA-NA-TE!"
Despite it's nearly broken state, the golem fires off its hammer towards the girls.
Attack: 9 Damage: 6 at K Attack: 7 Damage: 3 at Pushover
Sigurd's first attack bounces off the golem's armor plating but the second tear through more of the machine's internal cogs. The golem tries to respond but only lets responds with jerking movements and grinding of its gears.
The golem's hammer misses K. She fires off another spell, hoping this one will end the nearly destroyed construct. [Eldritch Blast: 15 to hit, 6 Force damage on hit]
Pushover also sends a flurry of magic missiles towards the Golem to compliment K's attack; she hopes this final wave of arcane energy will be enough to overcome the construct's might. [13 force damage]
Although K's blast bounces off the golem's plates, the barrage from Pushover finally takes the machine down. The magical bolts break the golem off the wall and it falls onto the altar below. After the dust settles, the golem lays upon the altar.
"Do we have any of those berries left over that the insect guy gave us, before he took off to the surface?" asks Sigurd as he searches Grigs for anything to help the bugbear get back on his feet.
Pushover shakes her head at Sigurd's question, and starts to move towards the orrery casing that the golem had been guarding. Although her mage hand could previously grasp it with no consequence, she can't assume it's safe to handle with mortal hands quite yet, so analyses it from all angles, including lifting it up with her mage hand yet again to see all sides of it, trying to pick out any and all clues on its gilded form that could give her more of a hint into its arcane nature. [Arcana Check: 19 + 6 = 25]
K sighs in relief as the golem falls, then turns her attention to the bugbear still on the ground. "I have something," she says, digging through her bag and pulling out a Potion of Healing, the red liquid sloshing in the vial. She kneels next to Grigor and administers the potion. [5 hp back to Grigor]
The beast-man is dragged from his pleasent unconsciousness back into the waking world, looking up ar K inconfusion with a glass bottle shoved in his mouth.
The throbbing in his head helps him put the pieces together. "This is embarrassing. But thanks. Did you guys take the thing out?" He sits up very slowly, taking stock of how bad his injures were.
"Where's the little dude?" He looks around for the goblin who'd been trying to drag his friend out of danger, though didn't look like there was much help for the dwarf. "Is that thing going to magically heal itself? Is she gonna go crazy when she wakes up?"
K helps Gigor sit back up. "Welcome back to the waking world. Yeah, we managed to destroy the golem." She gestures at the heap at the altar. "I doubt it'd magically put itself back together, but we should probably still get out of here as soon as possible. As for the woman, we should wake her up after we leave this room as well."
She stands back up. "Don't push yourself, get up when you feel like it. Pushover's trying to figure that orrery out." She nods towards the tiefling wizard intensely studying the object. "And as for the goblin..."K trails off, glancing at Gorkoh, who's still holding on to the body of his dead friend.
To K Grigor grins. "Ill be alright. Just need to shake off the cobwebs."
"I think she's the person we came here to rescue. Tying her up seems a tad much. Maybe jut make sure she's well away from her weapons. I do have rope and a blanket to make a litter with though."

Although a bit bent and missing a few plates, it seems to be in good condition. You could even swear that it looked bent before but possibly just looked from a different angle. While it seems to be missing some components, it should still work. And giving it a look with magical intent, seems like you can attune to it.
Gorkoh had made it out of the room with his friend's corpse. He peers back into the room after the golem comes off the wall. "Is...is safe now?" He asks as he comes back into the room. He goes over to the golem's body and gives it a kick.
Sigurd nods at Grigor's suggestion, "Aye, definitely remove her weapons. I'll pull the litter." He then looks at the others and says, "We should take everything we have discovered and head back up. We need to inform those in charge of what we found and make a decision on what we should to do next."
K nods in agreement with what Sigurd said. "But before that..."
She looks at the goblin standing next to the golem's body. "Gorkoh. Can you explain what this room and that golem are about, or why your friend was down here?" K figures that Gorkoh can provide at least some answers.
