He will follow this by checking on Aka'ula to see if I can apply Medicine to help him.  He uses a gentle but firm touch so he doesn't think he's being attacked and says his name gently but loud enough for him to hear.

Aka'ula will come out of his shell after hearing Galorash. Seeing the beast he picks his spear up and throws it at the beast.

The spear hits! It does only minor damage though.

Jakob swings again

15 to hit with 5 and 4 damage

Galorash attempts to perform first aid Aka'ula, but unfamiliar with tortle anatomy he is unable to do much helpful.

Jakob swings his flaming greatsword into the drake!

The drake turns, leaps at Jakob and attempts to bite him! (Attack: 11 Damage: 13)

Jakob deftly dodges the rage drake.

(Mikhael, Medskan, Kalman, Galorash and Balin are all up.)

Balin swings at the drake, but his swing goes wide.

Kalman reloads and shoots again:

Balin swings and misses; Kalman shoots and hits! The rage drake seems particularly rage-filled by now.

Mikhael, Seeing no other options, Casts Ray of Frost at the drake Attack: 15 Damage: 8

The dice roller didn't take my spell attack mod into consideration. +5 to hit.

The rage drake is hit by the full force of Mikhael's ray of frost! It's starting to limp a bit, but its anger has not subsided!

"I could make a lousy cold-related pun, but I won't because I have standards."

with a roar Medskan breaths into its face

exhale in a 15 ft. cone (CON DC 12, half damage on success) for 4Cold Damage 

The drake's constitution save: 22

The drake partially resists Medskan's icy breath, but is still hurt. It seems on its last legs but that's just making it more angry!

** not sure how initiative is going - around in same order or reroll each turn.  If reroll - 7 , if not - disregard - I feel like a raider in Fallout->>you're still alive??

Galorash turns to the beast, a flash of amazement on his face that it has held so long, and aims carefully and fires  an arrow.  Wishing to himself the blessings of all the little trinkets and lucky charms he carries in hopes that one will work.  He follows this with his Cunning action of disengage.

Galorash's arrow flies true, striking the beast in its heart! With one last angry swing of its claws, it is dead.

As a reminder, you're in a roughly square chamber filled with mushrooms with two doors and two shafts with ropes:

Kalman yells down, "All clear down there?  Should I come down, or are we going to finish clearing the upper floors?"

"I was thinking to explore down here, as I doubt its the route the goblins would suspect.  But if we find the prisoners, we would need to get them up the ropes, which won't be easy.  Is anyone making a map?"

Balin searches around the mushrooms to see if this dragon-like beastie has a dragon-like treasure.

Can Aka'ula pick one of these mushroom and tell if they are worth / safe to eat? He's not proficient in nature, but with the wanderer feature from his background, he can find food and water if the lands provide it. He may be able to tell if the mushrooms are edible? I'll make a nature check too just in case.
