The Wiz climbs up onto the Immovable Rod. Hanging himself over it, like a used towel, he begins to groan from the effects of the poisoning. "I can't die looking so bummed out. M-must... keep... smiling."
The Wiz begins to do a little jig comprised of little foot kicks and lazy hand swinging.
Ember touches The Wiz and casts Cure Wounds (1st lvl) healing 15 pts.
"I am sorry but I do not have the magics to help with any infections from those spikes. Perhaps we will run into one of those healing clerics on our way back..."
Ember blinks as he watches the open wounds heal shut. "Did you happen to notice anything as you slid down or hit the pit bottom?"
He will reach into his bag of holding to pull out a bit of water and a nibble and offer them to The Wiz. "Sorry again about that enlargement thing."
The Wiz makes the guess that the web would form but then slide down into the pits. It would stick quite nicely to the Immoveable Rod and the rusty spikes though.
Alexia decides to pick up the slack. "I guess we could try using a spell to launch people across? I don't know if I have any that would do the trick harmlessly."

Pokemon Master, Hero of Hyrule, Jedi Knight, Minecrafter, Celestial Being Beyond Comprehension, Bounty Hunter, Salmon Runner, Nailmaster, Yarn Yoshi Enjoyer, Animal Lover, Math Rock Roller, Nerd King in all Aspects.
(And, of course, Dragon Tamer. It is in the name, after all!)
Ember tries to stay calm, "Wait wait wait... no need to be launching anyone just yet. I can fly down this pit strip / hallway to see what is at the other end. Let me do some scouting first."
Ember flies to the other side of the hallway with no problems. Both pits are similar with rusty spikes. The far pit has a two skeletons at the bottom, a humanoid and a canine.
Perception check for Ember please.

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
Emberflits back to his companions, "Two parallel 'gutters' filled with spikes. I saw what looked like human remains and maybe a canine... but I didn't get down into the trenches..."
Alexia sighs. "Maybe I could fly over, pull 9 over with a spell, and one of the vertically challenged among us could piggyback on them? It's stupid, but it might be just stupid enough to work."

Grey will cast Lesser Restoration on The Wiz, making sure he had gloves on first!
Does Grey think that Freedom of Movement may work on this slippery floor? [Let me know if you want any sort of roll]
"I noticed that there are spikes down there." The Wiz says in response to Ember's question. "Thank you both." The Wiz says to Ember and Grey.

OOC: It will not work. There is no restraining or slowing effect on movement.

The Wiz also carefully studies the nearby wall and floor. "Hmmm... Maybe I can cast a magical web on this."
The Wiz then tries to determine if his Web spell might work on a friction-less surface.
OOC: Wasn't sure if you wanted an Arcana roll for this but if so, 15.

"Could we all fit in your vessel and have Ember fly us over, and then we exit? I'm not sure of the details on how it works?" Grey asks Alexia.
The vessel was destroyed. I don't know how long it takes to make a new one.
