Wysp's New Groove

Alexia shouts back to the rest of the party. "There's a fancy door over here, but I don't see any way to fix the pit problem." She then opens the door. Is there anything that could be useful inside? 

The party sees Alexia disappear through an illusionary wall then they hear a grunt as she tries to open a door

Door: Threshold 20 - somebody has to help you open it.

Ember levers himself back to his feet and turns to his companions, "I'll fly over and help Alexia with a little Wild Shape...  I have trouble with doors at my size but I have yet to meet a door a bear can't take down with a little effort."

He flies up and across to the same spot Alexia disappeared into.  Finds a spot to land and does the druidic Wild Shape into a brown bear.

Brown Bear      (( 19 STR might help some... ))

The door easily opens with the help of a big brown bear.

You see a 40 by 50 foot room with a few kayaks (4) on the ground.

Running along the far wall is a stream of water floating through the air. The openings in the wall from which the stream enters and exits are just large enough for a kayak to pass if the riders lie down.

"Hey! That could work!" Alexia tries lugging one of the kayaks back towards the pit and sees if it could completely cover one of the holes. 

A kayak/raft is wide enough to cover the pit.

While the rest of the party works toward a solution, The Wiz begins the ritual to resummon his faithful Goatee. "Hmmmm this time, you will fly and you need better eyes. You got strangled to death before even seeing those gangly things."

The Wiz sorts through all the magnificent creatures he can imagine that have the ability to fly and lands on the obvious wizard choice: The hawk.

Alexia tries to carry one of the kayaks while flying, hoping to set it over one of the pits.

Can they get two kayaks over the two pits so the rest of us can join them? Number 9 is looking like he's bored with us!

Ember, the brown bear, huffs and snorts a gust of air as Alexia try to figure things out.  That being said, he will slowly scan the room until his shaggy strength is required.

(( Keen Smell. The bear has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell. ))

You can use two of the kayaks to block off two of the pits.

There is no unusual smell in the floating stream room.

Number 9 lacks expression most of the time regardless.

Alexia covers the pits and beckons her party mates to cross. "I think this could work! I can try to help pull you over the sloped part."

The kayaks slide easily over the surface and if not for the spike pits might make a fun pastime. Stepping on the seats or frames keeps you from getting super tetanus but does unfortunately make dozens of holes in each boat.

The room with the Kayaks and the floating water streams, any other exits, doors, secrets, etc?

Perception: 16 (w/guidance)

The Wiz sees poor 9 just standing there looking all, well, like nothing because it can't emote. However, something about the way it stands, all beat up, that makes The Wiz think it looks sad. 

He winds up a Chromatic Orb. "Hey, 9, catch this."

He flings a ball of lightning at the golem. 

OOC: Attack 25, Lightning Heal 15.

"What do you think about putting one of the Kayaks into the stream? see if it comes back around or anything?"

If we are able to pull one of the broken kayaks out out the nearest Pit, Grey can start to repair it.

 Number 9 catches the ball and his whole being is lit up with tendrils of electricity sewing him partially together.

 There are 4 of them, only 2 are ruined. Each can seat 2 people.
