Grey will cast Revivify on Alexia!

OOC: Alexia, how do you feel after being dead?

Alexia's eyes open as she takes out a sword. It takes her a few seconds to realize that she's not currently in danger. "What did I miss this time?"

The bleary-eyed man gathers up his things and walks over to the group. He has a very relaxed stance and his pack of things hangs in arms held low around his belly. His golden hair is caked with muck and his eyes have a slightly vacant expression to them, but he has a confident smile and a friendly bearing. He nods to the group as he plops his wizard hat atop his head. "Hey guys, thanks for lending me a hand just now. I appreciate you." 

He shifts the weight of his held bundle into one arm and extends the other to shake the hand of each member of the group, including the woman on the ground. "My name's The Wiz. Pleasure to meet you."

*Wait so this guy's full, legal name is 'The Wiz'?*

Ember watches as Grey revives Alexia... waiting for her gasp of new air into her lungs.  "Let's try this again with an alive Alexia..." 
Reaching out a hand, he will gently place a hand on Alexia's shoulder  and proceeds to do a series of complicated hand gestures while muttering some arcane verbage

Cure Wounds     18 pts of healing

 Looking up once the bloom of life returns to Alexia's cheeks, Ember rises and looks at the flamboyant mage.  "Didn't they stab you and puke up crap on your body when you were on that altar?"

The Wiz looks down at his abdomen. "Oh, yeah, heh. I guess they did knife me." he looks down at the small stab wound that didn't really get deep at all. "I thought that was a spoon. They need to take better care of their weapons. Well... too late for that now, I guess. I'm going to get dressed, but don't let that stop you from, you know, uh, telling me your names."

He turns to the side and begins to dress himself, stumbling in place as he gets his legs into his pants. 

OOC: Perhaps it is! The Wiz would mean he had some cool parents. 

Grey introduces himself to The Wiz, and watches Ember get Alexia back on her feet.

He then sit's on the ground, places his warhammer next to him and says 'stay close to me for the next ten minutes', and launches into an indepth prayer to the dwarvish Gods.

When he is done, everyone get's the benefits of his Prayer of Healing.

Healing: 19 hps  + gain the benefits of a Short Rest 

During the 10 minutes you hear chittering from the other passages. It begins to increase in volume with a few extra squeaks. You surmise that the other rats are working themselves up to attack you.

Spell still has 5 minutes to go. What do you do?

Grey will continue the spell until he cant, or shouldn't!

"Should we, uh, leave? Or are you guys wanting to...?" The Wiz does an awkward punch at the air to complete his question non-verbally. Then, guessing at the answer, he does a pyramid with his arms over his head and shifts his head side to side, making babbling noises. 

OOC: He prepares and holds the Cantrip Acid Splash at the entrance of the sounds, ready to fire it off the moment he sees a rat creature. 

(( OOC:  I forgot Ember has Enhanced Bond when his Wildfire Spirit is out....  Alexia gets an additional  6 pts of healing ))

Passive Perception:  14      Ember tries to determine where the approaching rats are coming from -- the North tunnel or the Western tunnel?

"Which ever way they come, I have some tricks with fire they might not like."

In the meantime, "I am Ember.  Fiery nature by birth; Druidic by training."

"We were tracking a special rock or crystal down here.  Similar to those gems used in the rat statue's eyes.   Mind if we scoop them up and add them to the bits we have found so far?"   Ember scratches his chin before flitting up to eye level with 'The Wiz'.  "Come to think of it -- why were YOU down here being offered up for Rat shenanigans?"

Alexia stands up. "Thanks for the save, everyone." She turns to The Wiz. "I'm Alexia." She sheathes her blade, but stays ready for a battle.

 The big rock was in the hands of the statue =)

The sound is coming from the left passage. Center is where you came from. Right is where food storage is.

 OOC: Agreed. I am a major fan of tile labels myself. 

Ember sighs in relief when Alexia stands under her own power.  "Please, do not let a rat spit on you again,"  he pats her arm before flying over to retrieve the eye gems and the stone the weird rat statue held in it's hands.   Just to be safe, Ember will shove it all into his bag of holding before turning to look toward the left hand tunnel.

"I have one spell... Wall of Fire which would basically block that entire tunnel opening and do some real damage  BUT... it would not stop half the swarm from retreating and coming at us from a different tunnel or one we don't even know about yet."

He pauses for a moment in thought.  "Or I can conjure up a Flaming Sphere  -- again, it would pretty much fill that tunnel entrance and I could have it chase them backward but...  we still end up with a half swarm attacking from another direction or waiting until the spell ends."

Looking over at everyone, "Any other ideas?"

Alexia looks at her hands. Slight sparkles of electricity shoot out, but not much else. "I'm not sure I'll be much help, I'm all out of mana. I guess I could stab them, but it might not do much."

The Wiz continues to hold his spell. "Oh, by the way..." he says, following up on Ember's question. "I'm just here by accident, I think. Some guy was pretty slick and stole... uh, jewelry from some other dude?" he says, not entirely sure if that is actually what happened, as he wasn't really paying too much attention at the time. "Then I was in some dark place and one of those rat guys grabbed me. Next thing I knew, I was here." The held spell vibrates in his hand and it is apparent that it is difficult to hold it. "I didn't want to be rude and ignore your question, man. I wouldn't want to go out on a bad note like that, you know?"

He nods to Alexia. "I got you. I washed out of Warthogs School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, so you aren't lucky enough to have found an A-lister, but I can do a few neat things." he says with a wink. 

"... Thol kor Moradin, thol kor azruk. Baruk thol dor drak ..." Grey continues...
