"If we want to take a longer rest, I could certainly try to prepare some spells that may help, remove curse, lesser restoration, augury etc. Even without a solution, we have cookies. Could be a good place to rest. Unless we dont trust that beetle!?"
The Wiz yawns and stretches from his place on the ground. He looks at Santa and tries to determine if the gem-like bug is a Creature or an Object in fourth-wall-breaking game terms before reviewing his spells for possible magical solutions.
"Oh my! The beetle has attached itself to a fake! The real Santa Clause is thankfully safe and crouching into a believable 5-ft space right here." The Wiz says as he steps out of the way to reveal a perfect Minor Illusion of Santa huddled down in a squatting position.
If that doesn't work, The Wiz prepares to finally reveal his super duper secret master plan of summoning his familiar.
"Beetles are strong, but not the most powerful thing that crawls about. They have a natural predator." The Wiz allows tension to build as he performs his ritual. "Only one thing strikes fear into the heart of any beetle. Dun-dun-dun! The goat."
OOC: He ritual casts Find Familiar in the form of the Goat. The Wiz immediately checks to see if the beetle reacts in any way.
Alexia just sits, watching the others struggle. Her spells wouldn't do any good in this situation.
