Mathias nods in agreement to Brekka's statement. As the party prepares to head off, the druid casts his cantrip again to determine what sort of weather they would have to deal with today.
The weather reveals itself to be bright and sunny.
Mathias's prediction of the weather proves true and you approach the keep. The land has grown rugged, with tree and shrub cover intermittent. It slopes up to the northeast and southwest into full mountains, whereas the northwest track you are following seems to be funneling you into a narrow pass.
I would like everyone to make two checks. Pick one pair of skills: Perception and Stealth, Perception and Survival, or Survival and Stealth. The first check in the pair will determine what information you gain on the approach. The second will determine the likelihood you are spotted. You can take advantage from the kobolds on one of the two checks. Let me know which checks you do, and your results for both.

Okay, on your way to the keep, Arglen's route passes by a large garden or small farm, depending on your perspective. There is a small ridge topped by large shrubs separating your path from it. Kaelen spots three humanoid figures, one robed, the others in shabby work clothes working on the farm, they do not appear to see your group.
[[I am assuming you move past the farm, If you want to stop and interact here, let me know.]]
Arglen shows you to a rocky outcropping about 200 ft from the keep. She says, "This is as close as I think we can get without being spotted."
From your position, you can see the mountain pass narrows to about 200-300 ft wide at this point. The keep is surrounded by a curtain wall, stone, of an ancient architectural style. several round towers mark the corners of what would be an octagonal wall, if the wall did not merge into the cliff wall on one side of the pass. You can see remnants where the wall once branched off to block the pass, but that is utterly destroyed, while the rest of the keep is in decent shape. Someone has clearly done some maintenance over the years.
You see a sizeable gate in the curtain wall near where the pass wall used to branch off. There is a small postern gate to your left, close to the cliff wall, in the direction of the farm. You were able to see a path, fairly newly established, made by a wagon in between the farm and the keep's main gate.
There are about 5 or 6 lizardfolk manning the walls and looking out for trouble. Asariel gets a good enough look that he can tell the guards aren't particularly vigilant, and seem to spend time conversing with each other, and possibly even playin a dice game or something, although that's a guess, you can't tell exactly what is happening.

Asariel suggests not taking anyone out. If we can get our information without them knowing we are here, they will be just as relaxed when we inevitably come back for infiltration. If anyone is knocked out or killed, then everyone will be on high alert
Arista suggests to scout the castle first and then, on the return consider to visit the farm. Perhaps, the farmhands could be convinced to leave with them until the castle is conquered. This would leave the current occupants with less resources, but she acknowledges that Asariel has a point there, too. Any action that reveals the party's presence will likely cause alarm and negate any surprise. On the other hand, haven't they been noticed already by the demon callers?
Demon callers were far enough away from the keep. They have no certainty we were continuing this way. Or that we didn't fall prey to another threat. If they aren't on high alert yet, there is no reason to assume they feel threatened by the demons falling
Kaelen agrees with Arista and Asariel about not attacking the farm just yet, particularly curious about Arista's idea of convincing the farmhands to defect. Perhaps the workers are not here willingly to begin with. He studies the farmhands, trying to see if they have the same tattoos as the cultists or look like civilians.
Torban says, "I'd be happy to keep watch, but give me a second set of eyes, one of the kobolds would be fine."
Obvious subtext is one kobold is a light hostage in case the other kobolds think of causing trouble.
Darglen nods her assent to this.

"Good idea," Brekka nods, understanding Torban's intent.
His sword gleams brightly in the morning light as he finishes his morning routine with a practiced polishing of the blade.
"Let's get going. We should take full advantage of the day ahead."
